この施設について

Historic villa in the heart of Tuscany. Surrounded by nature.

Surrounded by nature as far as the eye can see, the beautiful Villa S.Ippolito (built in early 1800), with garden and a big swimming pool, has an authentic charme. The historic value of the house and its total privacy make this location a unique place to spend an unforgettable holiday.
The property (more than 6000 sq.Feet) develops in 2 levels. Ground floor: a big kitchen with fireplace, a storage room, a big dining room and three living rooms. Second Floor: on the right side there are 7 rooms with private bathroom; on the right side a living room (with frescos) and other 2 rooms who share a bigger bathroom. Total: 20 sleeping places (we can also provide extra baby beds).
Outside there is a garden - easy accessible by the kitchen - with a big table to eat outside, a terrace (with shade and a table tennis) and on the other side of the house a big old tree with another table. The swimming pool is 17x7 meters + a little pool for kids, fully equipped with sun and shade areas.
The entire property will be just for you: no neighbors, noises, etc… only privacy and relax; perfect for kids. The view from the swimming pool is astonishing, because it faces the natural reserve of Monterufoli, with hiking and hiking paths.
The Bicocchi family (owners of this house for 6 generations) will be there to welcome you and give you all the infos and tips about the area. There is also the possibility on request to have two ladies from the village nearby who can come and cook for you a traditional and tasty dinner with local products. In our land there is also a vegetable garden and the man in charge of it will provide you daily with fresh vegetables grown there.
In the area there are also thermal sources, the possibility to do ebike tours, a tennis court and many other outdoors activities. You will be surrounded by art and culture everywhere: the ancient cities of Tuscany (Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Florence…) are all within 40 minutes to 1.30 hour by car; the seaside - beautiful beach of Baratti - is 50 minutes far. The little villages nearby, where you can go shopping, enjoy a nice walk, eat at very good restaurants, still have the authentic flavor of Tuscany, because this area is still not very touristic.
At S.Ippolito - owned by our family since 1800 - we produce olive oil and in the area you can find very good wine and excellent food.

Amazing place.

Check in was quick and easy Clemente was superb. WiFi was perfect no issues at all especially with 12 people on it constantly. Kitchen facilities were spot on. Especially the indoor bbq set up. It’s remote but with cars absolutely loads to do not far. Easily best location of my 3 visits to Tuscany.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa

Fabulous enormous property with accurate description of bathrooms and facilities. Very quiet , big pool , lots of shady outdoor areas , well equipped , numerous en-suites Would definitely recommend if you want a big house with a group of friends away from it all

Lovely house and scenery

A very nice house with lovely view and setting. It’s far away from everything but you have a big pool Area, ping pong, pétanque and other activities. The house is very friendly and helpful.

A magic place

I want to thank you a lot for renting your bella casa to our group. We had a great time, your family place is magnificient and as you mentioned, magic place. Best Birthday ever

We were a big group of family and friends and really enjoyed our stay at Clementes property. There is a lot of space and Clemente was helpful and took care of our special requests. The view from the pool is spectacular. For my birthday the Nonna's from the village cooked dinner for as. They were so lovely and the food was very tasty. We had the best time.

Back again for a 2nd visit!

After a lovely stay in 2019 we had originally booked to return in 2020, unfortunately Covid had other plans. We were so excited to arrive Aug 2022 and are so glad we did. This place is stunning. The photos or reviews do not do it justice! Thank you for letting us have another magical holiday in your beautiful home. 100%+ recommend.

Wonderful stay with beautiful views

We had such a lovely week. The house was amazing and the host was so helpful. We had two local ladies come and make a feast - definitely have them bring the local wine and dessert. Watching the sunset above the pool was wonderful and the ping pong table was a big hit with our teens. Getting there was a little tough and it was a little far away from some of the places we wanted to visit- not because they were far, but due to the winding roads that slow travel. To get there we mapped to the agritourism down the road then kept going into the gravel road and when there is a split with a lot of signs make a hard left and you can see the house with blue shutters at the end of the lane.

Everything was beyond fabulous! The house and surrounding grounds were charming and there were numerous areas to gather in smaller or larger groups. The pool was a big hit and the views were exquisite! We visited surrounding hill towns, both famous and those little known and were never disappointed. Everyone in our group, from ages 83-12 had a wonderful experience. We hired 2 women from the local area to cook for us, and they produced two gourmet Italian meals for the 21 of us. Both Roberto ( caretaker) and Thomaso responded immediately to any requests or needs. On a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 50! Far exceeded expectations!

Eine stilvolle wunderbare Unterkunft, in der es an nichts gefehlt hat. Die Vermieter waren äußerst liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit, der Poolbereich fantastisch, auch für Kinder.12 Erwachsene, 6 Kinder uns 1 Baby waren restlos begeistert. Der gute Geist des Hauses Roberto hat unauffällig, aber höchst effektiv alles in Ordnung gehalten.2 Damen haben für uns 2 mal hervorragend gekocht.Fazit: Besser kann man einen Urlaub nicht vergringen

Schöner hätte ich mit der Familie nicht feiern können

Eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre mitten in der Toskana. Super gelegen für die sternförmigen Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Das Haus ist voller Charme und für eine große Gruppe ideal. Alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank an alle vor Ort, die zu dieser traumhaften Zeit beigetragen haben.

Viel Platz

Wir hatten zu zwanzig eine sehr schöne Woche- positiv in jedem Zimmer ein Bad, viel Platz um auch drinnen sich gut auf zu halten, schöne Sitzplätze draußen, toll ausgestattete Küche, Möglichkeit das an einem Abend Schwierig- abends wurde der Pool um 19.45 geschlossen und konnte nicht genutzt werden bis morgens, die Reinigungskräfte standen schon bei Abfahrt 10 Minuten vor um 9.00vor dem Haus das war ein bissel wie Rausschmiss- Abfahrt war um 9.00füralle ein 3 Gänge Menü genocht wird

Geweldig verblijf

Wat een geweldig huis en zwembad. Ook de gastheren waren geweldig, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het koken van de twee moeders was wel de kers op de taart. Kortom een plek om nog eens terug te komen. Clemente bedankt.

Wonderful holiday

As a large family party of 16 including 8 grandchildren aged between 2 and 13 we needed a spacious holiday let with a good sized pool located away from the house enabling us to have a safe relaxing stay. Our expectations were met in every way , the house and pool were spotless , the furnishings were functional deterring any stress that may have been forthcoming from a toddlers reach and overall apart from roasting in the abnormal heat it was just a wonderful stay. We booked La Dispensa for lunch , the service there , quality of food and location was top notch. All in all a great holiday.

Lieu de vacances parfait pour une grande famille avec petits enfants

Nous avons vraiment apprécié ces vacances à Pomarance. Cela commence déjà avec le mail de Clemente reçu avant notre arrivée. Des détails sur comment arriver, quels magasins ouverts pour les premières courses, quels lieux à visiter dans les environs et dans la région, des adresses de restaurants… cela continue par l’accueil à l’arrivée, chaleureux et en français, la découverte de la maison sans luxe mais confortable, immense. Idéale pour passer des vacances en famille mais en respectant l’intimité de chacun. Un espace où les enfants sont rois, ils peuvent jouer, courir, crier quasi sans déranger les autres. Nous avons également apprécié les repas préparés par les « nonne » attentives aux préférences de chacun. La piscine est géniale surtout avec de touts petits-enfants. Bref, idéal pour des grandes familles ou des groupes. Seul petit bémol, les moustiques le soir. Munissez-vous de systèmes et de produits anti-moustiques 😉

Fabulous

I cried on arrival tears of joy a postponed visit which was better than anticipated we felt overwhelmed at its beutiful location and accommodation steeped in history. we booked the lovely Italian ladies to cook for us 2 night -wow delicious !! pool lovely and clean sunsets amazing vegetables from the garden delicious so sad to leave I cried again 😢 Thank you to all that made this holiday happen.

Fin herrgård med fantastisk utsikt

Fantastisk herrgård med enorma ytor. Vi var som mest 17 personer. Vi bokade de 2 lokala damerna för att laga middag vi två tillfällen. Mycket gott och prisvärt. Härlig yta vid den stora poolen. Även trevligt att få olika grönsaker samt besöka husets stora köksträdgård. Köket är jättestort och alla rum har nyrenoverade badrum. Helt underbart ställe. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

A week in Tuscany

We were 3 generations(14 people) and thoroughly enjoyed our week as Clemente’s guest at his family’s historic farm. The setting is rural, away from the more touristy areas but we could travel around an hour to visit cities like Siena and Volterra. The fabulous meal prepared by the local ladies was a highlight as was the fresh produce provided daily from the garden. Clemente made us feel welcome and comfortable and was the perfect host.

Fabuleux!!!

La maison est parfaite! Nous étions un groupe de 22 personnes :11 adultes et 11 enfants entre 1 et 6 ans et nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est spacieuse et bien agencée, quasiment chaque chambre possède sa propre salle de bain. La piscine est complètement sécurisée et il y a même un plus petit bassin pour les petits. Il y a également le potager. Et à environ 1h,m’en voiture Sienne et Volterra qui valent le coup d’œil.Clemente et Daria ont été très accueillants et disponibles. Bref super séjour!

Vakantiewoning in een Heren boerderij

het leuke vd vakantiewoning is dat het in een zeer rustige gebied ligt. De woning is een oud heren boerderij met alle voor en nadelen. Ga niet voor het grote comfort maar afgezien van dit is het ruim en aangenaam zelfs met een grote groep.

Dream holiday

We (7 children, 8 adults) spent an incredibly beautiful week in this huge house! Highlights were the super pool and the surroundings, the trip to Massa Marittima and Baratti beach, the European Championship final in a bar in Pomarance, Sasso Pisano with the smoking fields, the olive oil from Clemente, the cooking ladies from the neighbouring village, .... Thanks for everything!!!!
