Chalet San Gervasio was recently renovated using natural materials to blend harmoniously with the landscape, thus becoming part of the rural architecture that preserves tradition and history in Teglio. The Chalet is built on several floors characterised by the use of wood; one enters through a small doorway where there is a hallway that leads via a flight of stairs to the first floor. One finds oneself in a spacious living room, which has a wall equipped as a kitchen, a French window opening onto the balcony, a comfortable table, a sofa bed, a pantry and TV, free wifi. Next to the living room is a double bedroom with wardrobe and the bathroom with shower and bidet. A second staircase leads to the attic floor, which houses an area furnished as a bedroom. Both floors have beamed ceilings. On the ground floor, the Chalet offers a characteristic games/relaxation room, equipped with a billiard table that converts into a ping-pong table, which leads to a pretty little garden with a view of the mountain, where you can sunbathe and dine thanks to the outdoor furniture and barbecue. The municipality is served by a railway station that makes it possible to reach Milan in about 2 hours and 30 minutes. The centre is located at an altitude of about 900 metres with fairly cold temperatures in winter. Palazzo Besta, an ancient 16th-century building in typical Valtellina Renaissance style. The so-called 'little palace in the Alps', once the home of the noble Besta family, is now a museum and also houses the Antiquarium Tellinum, where archaeological finds discovered in the area are exhibited. Mulino Menaglio, where you can see the threshing of wheat and admire the local tradition , Church of Santa Eufemia, an important religious building and starting point of the Teglio - Tirano stage of the Cammino Mariano delle Alpi, consecrated in 1117 and ancient seat of the Pieve della Castellanza di Teglio. The building is located within the "sacred enclosure" that also houses the Oratory of the Whites and Blacks and the ossuary of the old cemetery. Not far away is the Romanesque church of San Pietro, the oldest in the village, dating back to the 11th century. Torre de li Beli Miri, an ancient tower that stands on top of the pine forest as the only legacy of the ancient Castrum Tilii - castle of Teglio. The suggestive Somasassa lake.
