Helichrysum Lofts – Modern Holiday Homes Close to the Beach

Situated at Lagouvardos Beach, surrounded by vast olive groves along the Ionian-washed southwest coast of Messenia, lies the Helichrysum Lofts holiday estate with pool. Completed in summer 2025 and framed by a lovingly designed garden, the estate comprises six elegantly furnished houses with thoughtful comforts as well as a spacious pool area. Its gentle architecture blends harmoniously into the landscape of the Trifillia coastal region. Just a five-minute walk away, Lagouvardos Beach is the shining highlight of Helichrysum Lofts – a wide sandy bay lined with pine trees, ideal for leisurely hours by the water, carefree swimming, and unforgettable holiday moments. When the wind picks up, Lagouvardos becomes a playground for surfers and experienced swimmers.

On the enclosed 7,000 sqm garden property, the six houses are arranged at a pleasant distance from one another along the shared pool. The ensemble includes an elegant Family House, two semi-detached buildings with a total of four charming Junior Houses, a small blue house serving as reception, and two additional small single houses. One of the small single houses is occupied by the young owner family during the summer season.

Two old, tall olive trees provide pleasant shade on the small platia in front of the reception building – a welcoming place for social moments and warm summer evenings. Paved paths lead through the blooming Mediterranean garden to the pool terrace, equipped with six large parasols, twelve comfortable loungers, and an outdoor shower. The shared pool (approx. 90 sqm; 10 × 9 m; 1.50 m deep; unheated; in operation 28.03.–15.11.) and the children’s pool (approx. 7 sqm; 2.5 × 2.7 m) promise carefree swimming fun for guests of all ages.

In the basement of the blue reception house, guests have access to a utility room with washing machine, iron, ironing board, and vacuum cleaner. A gas grill, bicycles, and mountain bikes can also be used upon request.

Next to the Family House are two semi-detached buildings with a total of four comfortably furnished Junior Houses. These two-storey, tastefully designed units impress with their bright, friendly atmosphere and offer ideal comfort for up to four guests. Soft pastels, selected woods, and modern, understated furnishings combine to create a harmonious and soothing interior.

On the ground floor, guests are welcomed by an inviting living area: a stylishly designed living room with sofa bed that can be converted into two full-size single beds flows seamlessly into the dining area with adjoining open kitchen. The bathroom is located directly next to it. The upper floor features an open bedroom with double bed (no door; sloping ceiling 2.60–1.34 m), providing a cosy, calming retreat with gentle natural light.

The covered terrace in front of the house offers welcome shade. Two comfortable armchairs and a sofa create an inviting spot for relaxing and unwinding.

A free airbed is available for children up to 12 years upon request.

The southwestern coast of Messenia offers numerous sandy beaches with crystal-clear water – from long stretches of sand to small hidden coves. The nearest beaches are among the most beautiful in the region. Nearby Lagouvardos Beach is a spacious sandy beach surrounded by pine trees and an impressive mountain backdrop – ideal for swimming, surfing, canoeing, snorkelling, or fishing. Other beaches within a 20 km radius include the iconic Voidokilia with its semicircular bay, Goldcost (Mati) with fine sand, and the picturesque coves of Barlas, Vromoneri, Petrochori, and Romanos.
