Cozy, quiet vacation home between Landsberg and Ammersee

We rent out our beautiful, cozy vacation apartment, located in Schwifting between Landsberg am Lech and Lake Ammersee.
We can accommodate 2–3 people. Free parking for one car is available right in front of the house. If you’d like to bring your bicycles, you’re welcome to park them in our garage—and charge your e-bike there for free if needed. You can start biking or walking right from our front door. We live on the outskirts of town in a 30 zone. Bicycle paths to the Ammersee, Windachspeicher (reservoir), or nearby Landsberg are available and well-marked.
In town, there’s a village store and a farm stand. There, you’ll find fresh pastries and everything you need for your daily needs. At the village inn, you can enjoy Bavarian and Croatian cuisine and, when the weather is nice, relax in the lovely beer garden. For children and teens, the adventure playground—which is well-known and popular far beyond the borders of Schwifting—offers plenty to explore.
The non-smoking apartment with a large balcony is located on the 1st floor and measures approximately 70 square meters. Smoking is permitted on the balcony or in the courtyard. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Since we are beekeepers, we’d be happy to give you a peek inside the beehive if you’re interested—wearing protective suits and veils, of course.
Here’s some more information about the apartment:
The living and sleeping areas feature real wood parquet flooring. Therefore, we ask our guests not to walk through these rooms in outdoor shoes. We’re happy to provide slippers, but you’re also welcome to bring your own. The hallway and bathroom have radiant floor heating.

Things you can do from the vacation rental:
- Horse-drawn carriage ride through Schwifting’s forests
- Sightseeing tour of Landsberg’s beautiful old town, climb up to the Bayertor for a spectacular view
- Walk or bike ride through Landsberg’s wildlife park, followed by a stop at the Teufelsküche
- Ammersee (15 minutes away) or Lake Starnberg—swimming, steamboat rides, pedal boats, etc. (A hidden gem for swimming is Lake Wörth)
- The royal castles of Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, and Linderhof, and the Wies Church
- Bad Wörishofen Thermal Baths, Kristalltherme in Schwangau, or the Lechtalbad in Kaufering
- Zugspitze, Eibsee
- Legoland, Günzburg
