Dave was very communicative and so helpful during our stay! We were in town for a family reunion, and loved the space and how well stocked the kitchen was. We felt very comfortable and had the best time. Can’t wait to come stay here in the future!

Best location on the island!

Our stay at this beautiful condo was everything we hoped for and more! The location is unbeatable—right on the gorgeous, calm shores of Rum Point. The view from the open air balcony was breathtaking and we appreciated the screen patio in the evenings. We loved being able to snorkel just steps from the condo. The beach was quiet and peaceful, and the water was crystal clear—perfect for relaxing or exploring the reef right offshore.The condo itself was spotless, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like beach toys, floats, and even snorkeling gear. We loved having a great restaurant just next door and even more dining options just a quick drive down the road.Thank you to Thelda and Gigi, who were great. They were super responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or needed anything.This was truly one of our favorite vacations, and we’re already dreaming of coming back. Highly, highly recommend!

Rum Point Gem!!

This is our second staying at this particular unit and it continues to be one of our favourite spots in Rum Point. Two families (4 adults and 3 children) comfortably fit in the unit which boasts plenty of space, is well appointed, and provides everything you'll need for a relaxing vacation. We love the private beach as it is more quiet and has excellent snorkeling only steps away. Close to Rum Point Club if you're looking for a delicious dining experience and close proximity to other amenities (Kaibo, Chisolm's, Over the Edge, etc). Owners are readily accessible and contacted us to ensure that everything was to our expectations upon our arrival and were very responsive prior to our arrival to answer any questions we had and provide information regarding the unit. We would not hesitate to recommend these hosts to any of our friends and family. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Amazing view

This condo is perfectly placed to enjoy amazing ocean front views! For our family of 5 we appreciated all the space with three bedrooms 3.5 baths and plenty of couch space. All basic necessities were available to us. Rum Point restaurant is only steps away as well.

Beautiful Condo!

The place was perfect for our family. I loved listening to the sound of the waves. We walked down our steps and onto the beach. The obly concerns is when we were told the paddleboard had a whole in it, but on the last full day a worker came and got it it of the closet, and the master bath was not draining properly, which was quickly fixed. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Spacious beachfront condo. Enjoyed sitting on the screened end porch every morning. Close to the gardens, caves etc. Enjoyed the quietness of rum point versus seven mile beach.

The Retreat #28

Location is the biggest asset here! Right on the water. The beach out front is sandy, but you can only wade or snorkel. However, a short walking distance is Rum Point. Food is very good—ate there twice. Drinks can be expensive. $14 Cayman dollars plus tax and converting to US made them $20 for an 8 ounce frozen drink. I did try their frozen mudslide (supposedly invented there). We were there the last week of July and it was not crowded. No trouble securing lounge chairs, etc. Found a beautiful sand bar (facing water) to the left of Rum Point. Our adult son metal detected daily while we floated around. Absolutely beautiful. Stingrays swim around you. Fun!! The unit was ample space for six adults and two children (6 & 9). Everything you need is there. Views were beautiful, bedrooms were large, laundry in the unit, and they provided snorkels, beach towels, rafts, sunscreen, life jacket, much more—a lot of extras that were appreciated. The beds are very soft. I had trouble adjusting, my husband did not. The unit is clean—some things need refreshed. The pool is tucked in behind the buildings near the parking lot. Water was very warm—not refreshing. Grandkids used it a few times. Highlights of the week—revisiting stingray city and swimming in bioluminescent bay at night. Magical!! Ate at Kaibo Beach Restaurant, Over the Edge, Tukka, Chicken Chicken (brought back to condo), Boathouse Grill (downtown), Rum Point twice (convenience after beach all day with kids).

Great trip

We loved our stay at the retreat. There were 6 adults and the condo had plenty of room. The place was clean and the beach below was basically like a private beach for the whole stay. We loved rum point next door except the food prices were way too expensive. Our favorite local restaurants were Kiabo beach, Over the Edge and Tukka! I will say that a rental car is a must if you plan to go anywhere away from the retreat. The snorkeling out next to and under the pier is amazing. Sea turtles, sting rays and tons of fish. We plan to come back!!

Family vacation

This was an amazing property at Rum Point right on the beach with great snorkeling. We had a group of 8 with 4 kids under 10. Gigi was a fantastic property manager and very easy to contact. Everything was ready and our family had a great vacation! Can’t wait to go back.

The view from the condo was gorgeous. I would difentaly stay there again. Everything about the condo was peefect. There was 6 adults and there was plenty of room. Having Rum Point next door was ideal.

Christmas Week 2023

Our family loved our stay! It was perfect for 5 adults. Individual space, comfortable beds & plenty of family space in the living/dining room, lanai, & lovely upstairs patio. The view is gorgeous; the best on Rum Point. It was great being so convenient to the dock to take the excursions. Well equipped kitchen when we weren’t going out to the restaurants nearby. Great internet was appreciated. We would all love to return soon!

Beautiful ocean front condo

This place was in a perfect spot! We went in August so not a lot of people and it was like we had our own private beach! The balcony on the top was pretty useless since it was too hot to sit out in the direct sun but the lower screened in deck was amazing! We sat on this deck every morning with our coffee, under a nice fan. At night we sat out with our drinks and didn’t have to worry about the bugs. I would definitely recommend this property.

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this rum point condo! Having 3 full baths for our group of 6 was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. I loved waking up and seeing the beautiful views. Would definitely book here again!

Great property at the Retreat in Rum Point! Best condo unit on the beach! Other than not having access to the property when we got there (took an hour to locate property staff as place was locked with no key code) our stay was wonderful!

Just as described

I was unsure of staying on this end of the island away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Island. Boy am I grateful we made this decision. Rum Point is serene, quiet, and beautiful. It was like having your own private beach. And the property was perfect. It sits squarely on the middle of the island and the views are incredible. We spent equal amounts of time on the 3rd floor private balcony and the 2nd floor screened porch. We had everything we needed, from snorkeling gear to a fully stocked kitchen. If we are lucky enough to return to this island we will definitely stay in this unit again!

Fantastic Views

From the lanai and the upstairs deck, you will enjoy the beachfront and an unobstructed view of Rum Point, the bay, and the ocean to the north. The unit was quiet and roomy. We appreciated a good supply of snorkel equipment so everyone enjoyed the snorkeling. We enjoyed the snorkeling at Rum Point tremendously. We saw rays and turtles just off the point out front and the coral on the north shore and around the point is in great shape and beautiful. Unfortunately, a few maintenance needs detracted from what would have been a first-class experience.
