Breakers View Beach house perfect place to relax, unwind, sun, swim, snorkel

Breakers View is a modern 2 bedroom cottage perched on the edge of the water with the most spectacular vista of the whole of Pease Bay. Situated in the tiny village of Breakers it overlooks the reef and affords an uninterrupted panoramic view of the waves breaking over the reef along the whole length of the bay.

The mixed colors of pale turquoise through azure and indigo blue never cease to delight. Birdlife sightings include herons, pelicans, and osprey to name but a few.
The accommodation includes a light-filled vaulted ceiling main living area with a beautiful uplit island dining area that entrances and surprises guests.

There are 2 ensuites with bathrooms and a guest bathroom.
A very comfortable sofa converts into a queen size bed and allows a couple to sleep in the main living area.

The kitchen area is modern and well stocked and all appliances are new, which includes a washer and dryer.
The welcoming large front deck is roof covered at one end and open at the other. There is a netted side deck that has a BBQ area.

The beach is private and 2 kayaks are available for exploring the bay.
There is both a small shop for basic supplies within walking distance and a restaurant/bar. The soon-to-be-reopened iconic Lighthouse restaurant is also within walking distance.

This East End of the island is not close to nightclubs and main shopping but is only a 25-minute drive away.
Rum Point, Kaibo, The Crystal Caves, The Botanic Park (home to the Cayman Blue Iguana), and Tukka's Bird Sanctuary are all within a very close driving distance. Excellent diving at East End is10 minutes drive away.

The property has an enclosed driveway and electric gate with ample parking.
This is a home from home on the edge of the beach with one of the most gorgeous Caribbean Sea views on the island.

Great place to stay if you can get around the island

I typically rent a car and drive round. This was a great location for this. The drive to Georgetown, Rum Point, East End was easy. The house is very nice—beautiful view of the sea. You will want to drive to other beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Great experience overall. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Great house with the best view!!!

I cannot possibly say enough about the beautiful view!!! Beyond amazing to wake up to and watch the sunset every day! Perfect for our family of 5 and centrally located to do just about anything on the island. The house is stocked with all of the essentials and we only needed to buy a few groceries. Owners have great communication and I would most definitely stay here again!!!!

Awesome cottage

This house is in a perfect location to explore the island. So many things just 10-20 minutes away. House was extremely well stocked with everything we needed from a pizza cutter, to mini vacuum to tape measure to sugar scrub! We loved it here. The Breakers are neat to walk out too (with water shoes) and enjoyed the kayaks. Loved the shaded porch too. Host decorated very cute and homey. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful

This home was very well-equipped with all that we needed for our stay! The host was very responsive to questions when we first got there! The host even made a point to purchase and drop off a coffee grinder within the hour when we noticed there was none as listed in description.We were initially going to stay in 7-mile beach area but we couldn't be happier that we chose this rental!! The location and view were perfect for our stay!!Thank you!

Mom and dad vacay.

It was beautiful, oceanfront, and quiet. (Only one bedroom is in oceanfront though). This is far enough from town that it is peaceful and the bay in front is calm. You are 15 mins from the big supermarket/town to the west and 15 minutes to the east with quiet, private beaches. Great stay, will definitely repeat if in grand Cayman again.

Great House

The house is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Great central location on the island. Very quiet. Management was very easy to work with. We had an issue getting to Cayman and they were very responsive and able to adjust our stay. The house had everything we needed for an enjoyable, relaxing vacation.

Great place to stay on the south shore. The house is great, with many amenities available. The only drawback is the road noise at times outside, especially on the screen porch. Overall though, excellent and would recommend.

Peaceful waterfront home in Boddentown

We LOVED our time in this sweet little home in the Caymans. I had to work and the wifi signal was perfect and worked well the whole time. My family enjoyed the shore and relaxing in this peaceful and quite spot. Even though it is close to the road we didn't hear much traffic noise. Had a little trouble getting some to the keys to work but otherwise enjoyed the ocean view and breeze and the comfy and clean home. It was a easy drive to George town. We really enjoyed being on the quieter end of the island and the down time this offered. Thank you for allowing us to rest and relax in your beautiful place!

New Year's in Cayman Island

Spent 5 days at the property. Lovely shore front location. Kayaks in the basement. Spacious home with a master bed room and a second room with 2 singles. You can snorkel right outside the home. front of the house. There is a reef about 100M out that calms the water down in front of the house. Easy access to the whole island, away from the busyness of the city. Would go back .

Great spot for family

We (2 adults and 3 children ages 9-13) spent 7 nights at this property for spring break 2024, and I only have positive feedback to share. The house exceeded my expectations and the impression created on the listing in all facets. The house had everything we needed throughout our stay from kitchen utensils, bedding, towels, snorkels/lifejackets, beach chairs, etc. There was literally nothing we needed that wasn't there. While the house alone was very nice, my favorite aspect was the location and the ocean access. We really enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling pretty much every day, and with the area being reef protected, I didn't have to worry about currents and my kids. Location-wise, we preferred the relative quiet away from the seven mile beach area and didn't mind the drive, which was about 30 mins on average. The proximity to the rest of the island such as Rum Point or East end was also very convenient. The only thing I could mention is the front of house is close to the road so you may occasionally hear road noise though this did not bother us at all. I highly recommend this property and would definitely book again.

All we needed

This house was perfect for our family of four. The teenagers had their own beds (in same room) but had their own bathroom/shower. The king bed overlooks the water and has its own bathroom/shower. We enjoyed the privacy of this location, as it is centrally located on the island and in a convenient location but not in a crowded area. We got groceries at Fosters countryside on our drive in, but needed additional groceries that we found at nearby fruit stands and at Gianna's Variety. We had a great visit: Captain Marvins stingray city and two snorkel stops, Captain Marvins/Sweet Spot bioluminescence tour, 1/2 day reef fishing with Reel Vibes Charter, 1/2 day deep sea fishing with Outcast Charters, 3 hours birding at the botanical gardens (many birds), and the best snorkeling on our own at Spotts Beach. The Blowholes had a little souvenir stand. Pure Art gallery had Caymanite jewelry. Eden Rock and Smith Cove had rough waters and weren't good for snorkeling during our stay and both beaches were crowded. White Dog Art Studio is a working studio near the rental house with fabulous artwork for sale. We loved eating at the Czech Inn. Tukka and Morgan's both cooked our fishing catches and it tasted great. The rental had all we needed and the quiet side of the island is the best.

We have a wonderful stay at Breakers View. The home is beautifully appointed and was well stocked. The deck with its spectacular view is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy coffee or wine. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions we had.
The sunsets were magnificent!
