If you enjoy spending time outdoors, walking, hiking and cycling, Binitaref is the ideal starting point. Just start walking or cycling, the agricultural surroundings are breathtaking! Sineu, Costitx (with its observatory), Sencelles, Sant Joan and Lloret de Vistalegre are considered the true heart of Mallorca! You may not believe the myth that the axis of the world lies beneath the bell tower of Sineu church. What we do know is that this picturesque little rural town has everything holidaymakers could wish for: ancient legends, cultural heritage, good restaurants such as the Moli Den Pau, which is located in a windmill, and numerous wine cellars, some of which also serve hearty Mallorcan dishes. Visitors from all over the island flock to the weekly cattle market on Wednesdays and from the centre of Sa Plaça, signs lead to interesting sights such as monasteries, churches and manor houses. Fields, windmills, olive groves and vineyards characterise the centre of the island, which can also be explored by bike. And for those who don't want to miss out on a day at the beach: the beaches of Badia d'Alcúdia, around 27 km away, are within easy reach...
