The rental home was great!! Was very easy to entertain the kids with all the gaming systems, pool table, and shuffle board. House was very clean and well maintained. Property was as stated. Loved everything in the cabin. We spent quite a bit of our meals at the cabin. There was anything and everything one needs to prepare meals. Kids loved loft area with arcade and games. Adults loved playing pool. Parking was a challenge with the slant but we managed just fine. April and Dave were quick to respond to our questions and/or concerns. Great trip Highly recommend.

Great place to stay! Cabin was laid out perfectly for our multiple families and bedrooms/bathrooms very roomy and clean. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Cabin as advertised, perfect set up for vacationing with extended family.

Great set up for family. Appreciated the en-suites. Interesting floorplan with no half bath on the main floor so people either use the master suite bathroom or need to go upstairs or downstairs when just hanging at the cabin. Kids loved the game room. Very responsive owners.

Mudpuppies and Moonshine cabin was excellent.

Family Fun

Our group of 11 (ages 6 to 65) enjoyed all the amenities offered at mudpuppies and moonshine cabin, with the game room being a fast favorite! The cabin itself was well appointed and clean. Our host was always easy to get ahold of and responded promptly. Thank you again for a great stay!

We have 3 log cabins in Gatlinburg, TN, the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains; and a condo just steps away from the beach in Siesta Key!

We are frequent visitors to the Smokies and love all that is has to offer and are always ready to head back whether for hiking, viewing wildlife, taking our kids for walks in nearby creeks, go-carting, or just driving through the beautiful Smoky Mountain National Park to enjoy the scenery.

This was our 1st of 3 cabins in the same resort! We chose it because it is in a perfect location to enjoy the many activities available in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. It is quiet and relaxing and feels like you are miles from hustle and bustle, yet it is minutes from everything. High enough to have a view, but no hazardous roads to navigate to get there! We liked the area so much, we purchased a second, only 4 cabins away from this one, and a 3rd in another part of the resort.

Mudpuppies & Moonshine is our flagship cabin and it shows! We are constantly working to improve our guest's experience with modern updates! A remodeled and well-equipped kitchen with new appliances! Clean bathrooms that have all been remodeled! If it is old, we'll update/remodel, if is broken, we'll fix it - we'll do everything we can to ensure you have a great time! Mudpuppies is located near the Arts & Crafts Community where you can spend hours (or maybe days) viewing and buying things from local craftspeople. We are also about a mile to Rocky Top Sports World. You can sit on the front porch or one of the back decks sipping coffee while you plan your day and enjoy the beauty of our cabin's location. Rather than the typical bear, fishing, or elk theme, we've opted for tastefully simple and local décor paying homage to the region as well as the cabin name and moonshine heritage of the Appalachian Mountains which include the Smokies. You will find moonshine distillery barrel lids and jars adorning the cabin!
This cabin has had all flooring replaced, a full kitchen remodel, all 3 bathrooms have been remodeled, all furniture replaced, and general décor updates to exceed your expectations.
