Beautiful waterfront location!

We loved our 4 night stay here! There are gorgeous water and mountain views from every bedroom, beach access, fully stocked kitchen, easy check in process, comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. We’ve already recommended it to other family members, and we’d gladly stay here again.

Enjoyed our Stay!

This home was great for our group visiting for a friends wedding. Beautiful view, lots of space, nice patio area and access to a cute beach area at the water. Highly recommend!

Very nice property with access to the beach. The house itself was in excellent condition and had great views of the ocean. A very pleasant stay. I would stay where again.

Good for large families

Perfect spot for our weekend visit

We booked this property to attend a wedding at Saltwater Farm. The location was perfect, and the house was so comfortable with beautiful views from every room. We explored the rocky coast in our backyard at low tide and sat out on the patio enjoying the weather and the scenery.

Amazing home and location!

Thank you so much for making your beautiful waterfront home available through VRBO. I can’t imagine a nicer place to stay on the island for a large group. Everything was immaculate and the view was incredible from every room. Awesome artwork! We enjoyed our visit to San Juan Island and much of it was being able to stay at the Alba Vista.

As advertised

Great house in good Friday Harbor location....close to town and easy access to the rest of the island. With 3 couples in our group, this house met our needs well with bedroom, kitchen, and dining space. The guest house added even more flexibility. I would stay here again.

Beautiful fall visit

Perfect layout for our 3 couple/3 generation family visit, with the guest house just on the other side of the deck. The views are amazing! You might see 2 deer peek in your window or a sea bird float past on a log, drying its wings. Management company was quick and helpful. Property address was well-marked so we found it easily after dark. Nice to have the beach access, we brought an inflatable stand-up paddle-board and explored along the coast.

Wonderful, peaceful, artsy paradise in the woods. thank you for sharing you beautiful home. It would have been great to have the umbrella on the deck. The hot water problem was fixed, but took a little time.

Great for friend trips

Perfect set up for our friends with kids. We love how close to town we are, but not right IN town. The only thing we aren’t a huge fan of is the downstairs smells like a cat box. If you live with cats, maybe it wouldn’t bother you. But overall we still love this house and hope to visit each year with our friends.

San Juan Island - Alba

Overall experience was above average. Did call on Friday afternoon (9/13) to inquire about a lack of heat in the mother-in-law building roughly 4:00PM. Did not receive a response and resolution until the voice message was returned at 10:00am the following day. The problem was resolved but response was not timely. Only other issue was the lack of a "Rental Property Guidebook/Binder". The only house rules that were somewhat vague came in the form of an email. A Guidebook/Binder would have been helpful on how to get heat from all the gas fireplaces (3) as well as suggestions for Grocery Store, Restaurants, etc. Not having available coffee for at least the first morning was the biggest reason for not giving this a 5 Star Review.

Family Vacation on San Juan Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is very spacious. It sits on Griffin bay with beautiful views. There was space for each family to have their own space. The outdoor deck was comfortable to sit on in the late afternoon. We like to cook and planned to have most meals at the house. The old pots and pans made that quite a challenge. The bed in the cottage sagged in the middle. And the downstairs door to the outside did not have a curtain for privacy. But despite these items we really enjoyed the home and property.
