Wonderful views! Beautiful home!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home tucked in the woods on the water. The views were outstanding and we loved the hiking trail behind the house with the Critter Hunt. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Breathtaking view of the Sound

My husband and I took our three kids here for their spring break. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind and just enjoy the view of the Sound, the smell of fresh air and the tranquility of the forest. The whole experience is unforgettable. There are tons of rental homes out there, we’ve been to quite a few and normally we don’t go back to the same house, but this just might be the exception.

Perfect

Great roomy house overlooking sound. Lots of wildlife, both land and sea. Secluded and quiet. Large grounds filled with interesting artwork and a tea house retreat. Many amenities. What is not to like?

StoneCliff Friday Harbor

Stone Cliff was beautiful and exactly as shown. The kitchen was so well appointed. Nothing was missing. The house accommodated our party of 7 (and a baby) just perfectly. We had fun times around the large table and enjoyed the fireplace on our one rainy day. Close enough to town but so peaceful.

A lovely getaway

The property was just as advertised. We loved the view and the critter sculpture scavenger hunt. The cleaning crew and management were super helpful and mailed me an item that I left at the house. I'd love to come back here again!

Lovely Island Getaway

Our stay at Stonecliff exceeded all expectations. The house was clean, cozy, and charming. The view was absolutely stunning. The check in and check out process was simple and communication was clear and easy through out. Will definitely be staying here again.

BEAUTIFUL location, spacious and comfortable home with VIEWS everywhere

My team and I had the BEST time at this property- I wish we had a longer stay to enjoy it all. BUT the views and the spacious home were SO cozy. The wall to wall windows overlooking the sound was SO peaceful. THANK YOU for an amazing stay!

Outstanding property

We loved the full ocean views, private cove excellent balconies and 15 acres of trails. The management company is excellent. We had mechanical issues with the hot tub which they promptly fixed. We loved the sunrises and spacious home. Highly recommend staying in this home.

Perfect!

Honestly one of the best places we've ever stayed. If you love comfort, convenience and nature you can't go wrong with this house. From the beautiful deck and hot tub we saw at least 15 species of birds, deer, river otters, harbor seals, and even orcas!!! House is well equipped and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Amazing Escape with Family

We came out for a short respite from the world, and were rewarded w/ a lovely, spacious home and amazing surroundings. We saw orcas, bald eagles, and a family of deer from the gorgeous panoramic views of woods, ocean, and mountains (Mt. Baker was lovely). The kids loved the hot tub, and Fran's Tea House was a lovely homage to the prior owners. The Zen Landscape is exactly what we needed. We'll be back for sure!

Amazing, serene, beautiful waterfront home

Stonecliff is a beautiful home right on the water. We had amazing views of the sun rising over Mt. Baker every day. We had eagles, seals, and otters visit almost daily. We had easy access to Friday Harbor from our home. There was a nature trail behind the house. The hot tub was a nice way to end every day. House was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend!!

It was well equipped with anything one might need in the kitchen. The location was very private with wonderful trails for exploration. It was secluded yet close enough to Friday Harbor for meals and shopping. Check in was simple and I never had any need to contact San Juan Property Management as we had no problems! I highly recommended this rental and would stay here when I return.

Puget Sound Paradise

This property has the wow factor. If you want to stay at a top-notch property, this is it. We had a commanding view of the bay in front of our house. We left the property each day of our stay, however I think we could’ve stayed on property and had plenty of things to do like badminton, nature watching, puzzles, and games. The house had a pair of binoculars perfect for viewing the distant shoreline. Everything in the house was in working order, and the description of the property was very accurate. We suggest getting an updated TV for the living area. Unheard of in this day and age, we resorted to talking to each other! The hot tub was serviced on day three of five during our stay. If the hot tub is your hot button, this hot tub will seat two adults comfortably, maximum three adults. However, the water is very sudsy. The Wi-Fi was fast enough and strong enough for all five of us to stream at the same time most of the time. It’s a 15 acre property with well marked trails and nature viewing opportunities

Roomy, Comfortable Retreat with Stunning View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at the house and on the island! The house itself is beautiful, nicely furnished and very roomy. We stayed with our adult children, their spouses and twin grandsons. The kitchen was well-equipped with cooking items. The bedrooms were roomy & comfortable. The deck and view were amazing. We had a fantastic experience and the house was perfect for our group. The rental company took care of getting us high chairs and pack & plays for the babies (for a nominal fee) which was very helpful to have them waiting for us. We've rented houses in Germany, Italy and in the U.S. so we've had many experiences for comparison. This house's rental price is on the high-end, but it was also very nice and clean. We highly recommend this property and the agency to anyone looking for vacation property on San Juan Island.

A Great View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A beautiful home with an incredible view from the decks, but be prepared that this house is located approximately 2 miles from the main road on a long unpaved gravel road. For the price per night, It should have provided comfortable outdoor furniture instead of the basic metal chairs with no cushions. It is time to replace the furniture!!Pros- Rooms were very clean and the views from the rooms were great. Loved the Critter scavenger hunt on the property, and each day we saw new wildlife on the property.Cons- Location was off the beaten path for our group. The 2 rooms located upstairs will share the bathroom with a jack-n-jill concept.The outdoor furniture needs an overhaul with a modern design.
