The apartment features a modern, high-quality design with real wood parquet flooring, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The spacious living area invites you to relax, while large windows let in plenty of natural light.

The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: a dishwasher, modern induction stove, raclette machine, waffle iron, and sandwich toaster are at your disposal for enjoyable cooking evenings and cozy meals.
Both modern bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and offer the highest level of comfort. A special highlight of the upstairs bathroom is the private Finnish sauna—perfect for recharging your batteries after an active day on Lake Wangermeer.

The Gulfhof on Lake Wangermeer looks back on a history spanning over 200 years: It was built in 1819 by a wealthy farming family and served as a stately residence and working farm for generations. After standing vacant for several decades, the historic, protected farmstead was extensively renovated and brought back to life with great attention to detail. The old brickwork, the original wooden framework, and the massive beams were preserved—they continue to define the special atmosphere of the farmstead and each apartment to this day.
Behind the historic walls, eight unique vacation apartments have been created, combining modern comfort with timeless design. Warm oak floors, high-quality furnishings, thoughtful details, private saunas in some units, and a spacious garden with mature trees and an unobstructed southern view create an environment perfect for relaxation and recharging.
The farmstead is idyllically situated in a completely secluded location on the outskirts of Hohenkirchen—accessible via a small access road and an impressive sight even from a distance.
Just a short walk away lies the Wangermeer, a hidden gem of the region offering a variety of recreational activities: walking trails, a swimming beach, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and quiet spots to watch the sunset—just like on a North Sea island! Just a few minutes’ drive away are the white-sand beach and surfing paradise of Schillig, the picturesque coastal towns of Carolinensiel and Hooksiel, and the charming old town of Jever. For a day trip, the ferry departs from Harlesiel directly to the car-free island of Wangerooge.

The area around the Wangermeer offers a wide range of recreational activities: Within walking distance lies the Wangermeer with a swimming beach, a kiosk, walking trails, SUP rentals, kayaking, and soccer tennis. The North Sea beach is just a short drive away, while cyclists and bike enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy. Kitesurfers will find ideal conditions in Schillig; the picturesque coastal villages of Carolinensiel and Hooksiel, the port city of Jever with its castle, brewery, and old town, and the mudflat hiking center in Harlesiel offer a varied program of activities. Supermarkets and bakeries are within 2.5 km of the farm.
