Stay in a historic Umgebindehaus in Bertsdorf-Hörnitz, the village voted "Most Beautiful Village in Saxony" in 2003. Relax on our spacious property—enjoy the peaceful nature from cozy benches, the patio, or sun loungers, or unwind with an evening barbecue. Hiking and walking trails start right at the house, leading you to the sandy beach of Lake Olbersdorf, up Breiteberg, or to the Koitsche mountain inn. Bertsdorf-Hörnitz has its own station on the Zittau narrow-gauge railway (steam train), which also takes you into the Zittau Mountains.



Many attractions are nearby, such as the Trixi-Bad in Großschönau, Hainewalde Castle, the spa towns of Oybin and Jonsdorf with winter cross-country ski trails, and Waltersdorf at the foot of Lausche. Poland and the Czech Republic with beautiful ski areas are also great excursion options. In nearby Zittau, you'll find plenty of shopping and a charming historic old town.



The apartments each accommodate up to three guests (third person on a sofa bed in the living room), with a separate bedroom and ample bathroom storage. Towels, bed linen, and a hairdryer are included.
