A total unplug from the crazy life

This was an amazing place to stay. The owners were in constant connection and answered questions at the drop of a hat through texting. We were so blessed to have been able to rent the sugar shack! We will be back!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Family Vacation!

We loved the Sugar Shack cabin at Bear Creek Crossing! It was beautifully decorated, a great size for our family of 4, has a fun game room in the upstairs loft (pool table and air hockey) and a gorgeous view. Everything worked and all is updated. The check in and check out process were easy as well. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!!

Review for sugar shack

The cabin was overall great. I would suggest a new mattress in the master bedroom. It has 2 dips in it with a hill in the middle and was uncomfortable. I would stay here again. It had everything we needed.

Great place, great customer service

We stayed for a week and enjoyed it so much. We had an issue with our hot tub & called the office. They responded promptly and had it fixed that day! The view was amazing. Quiet (we went in May). Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful stay under the smoky mountains

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin in Tennessee! The community was wonderful and offered many amenities. The cabin had an amazing view of the Smoky Mountains from then back deck. It was difficult to leave the house because the view was so amazing!! Although this property made you feel like you were nestled in the mountains, there were many things to do just a few miles away. The cabin was clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids were very content in the upstairs game room.

Loved

I brought my partner here to propose. The property was clean and perfect. We had coffee on the balcony overlooking the mtns was perfect. She loved the whirl pool top and the games upstairs. Plus the kitchen was clean and had all the appliances we needed to have fresh meals. The only thing we would change is a table outside and having a proper mattress that is built for adult activities.

Fees

I enjoyed the stay, however the extra charge for cleaning was too high in my opinion. If I'm expected to clean before I leave as it is. It should be part of the rental per night. Overall, I was happy with the stay.

Though the cabins are close together in certain areas, they still have a private feel due to the steep hills offsetting the neighboring cabin. The master bed could be updated and the carpet in the master bedroom, but the rest of the cabin was excellent!

Relaxing stay

Odor

The bathroom in the bedroom smelled of urine. We called and they came and cleaned, but in 2 days it smelled again. The grout around the toilet was dark, so im sure it would be an ongoing problem until deep cleaned. There was also no keurig or seating on the front porch. Otherwise the overall cabin was nice and quiet.

We were happy that we were able to bring our dog Rosie who loved it too. The back porch view at the Sugar Shack gave us a beautiful sunrise engagement that we will remember forever. I have to say that we did not have good night sleeps on the king size bed. it felt like a cheap mattress and we had aches and pains all night. Maybe others won't find it that uncomfortable though.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our cabin was clean and well appointed upon our arrival. Very pleased and would stay here again. Only complaint was the sofa bed in living room. This should not be considered adequate sleeping arrangements. It was like sleeping directly on metal. After 1st night, we had to go buy an air mattress. Cabin sleeps 4 comfortably. (Other sofa bed was adequate). But other than that, amazing cabin.

Beautiful well taken care of cabin

The cabin was beautiful and clean, the door code wasn’t sent to us but we were able to call and get it after we got there. The most disappointing thing is we booked this cabin so our kids could swim at the indoor pool ( it was cold and rainy) and nobody informed us it was closed. We payed a little more for this cabin to have the pool and the kids were pretty upset that couldn’t swim. There was no a blow dryer to use ( I forgot mine at home) or extra blankets for for pull out couches, only sheets. Overall the cabin and hot tub were great but the biggest let down was the pool .

Lovely Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My overall stay was very satisfactory. The cabin was easy to find. Very nice community. The toaster did not work and the microwave oven door handle was loose. I reported it to maintenance and they came out that morning and fixed it. The only negative was the bedroom carpet was stained in numerous areas. The location was great in that it was not far from the downtown activity in Pigeon Forge. Eden crest rentals was very friendly and professional. Would definitely use them again.

Horrible

We first walked in the cabin and smelt like urine. Upstairs In the loft, there was two big puddles of urine from i'm guessing a pet from Previous people which my kids walked through.The bedroom smelled horribly like Urine. The bed was broke down and Horribly uncomfortable. This was not worth the money We payed we payed $3000 And we had to clean our own cabin clean urine off the floors. The floors were Unswept downstairs, there was clothes underneath the bed and dressers. From previous people, this was overall a horrible experience. Would not recommend stay in this cabin or with this company. The only plus side was the t v's hot tub And the views of the mountains

Too Close for Comfort

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was nice but, the surroundings were not what I expected. The photos project peace and privacy. During our stay, we found that the cabins were too close together. There were much traffic and sounds of loud music, as well as, kids yelling next door. The Jacuzzi Tub's motor ran all night, trying to keep its temperature which vibrated and hummed very loudly right underneath the bed in the main bedroom. It was very noisy and disturbing. I realize there is not much you can do about the crowded population, but the loud humming during the night from the tub??? Maybe you could install a switch to turn it off. I don't like to complain but, my stay was like being at home in my own neighborhood. There was traffic, kids and loud noises.

Spring Break 2015

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was nice but is in need of several upgrade for the price of rent. The furniture (living room couch) is in very poor condition and needs to be replaced. Both pullout beds are bad. The one upstairs is in such bad shape it won't even hold up the mattress. Both pullout mattresses are bad and you can't sleep on them. My kids had to sleep on the floor. The living room TV remote wont adjust the volume (I even switched the batteries), so you had to do it on the side of the TV. If I was you I would not rent this cabin again until these issues are addressed. We have been renting cabins from Eden Crest for several years and have always stayed in Bear Creek Crossing but the last few cabins we have stayed in are showing a lot of wear, so I think it is time to start looking for a new area.
