We loved the house! Well stocked and a beautiful setting. Huge yard for games and campfires. Owner had good communication as well. Huge family room/living room area gave us lots of room for our 7 adults.

Planning Retreat

Our church women’s leadership team of 6 ladies has used this cozy house 3 times now. We love it! We go in January, so we stay in the whole weekend. It comfortably serves our needs. We love the large living room area and long kitchen table.

Excellent location

We really enjoyed our weeklong stay in this very clean and comfortable farmhouse! The owners were super responsive and very accommodating! Excellent communication throughout the entire stay! Highly suggest the location and the property or the adjacent carriage house.

Perfect Family Getaway

Loved the location. Great for our family gathering. Clean and well stocked kitchen. This house had everything we needed to have a very relaxing time. Outdoor fire ring was our favorite place to reminisce over our childhood and make new memories. The only upgrade I’d suggest is an extra bathroom for 8+ guest.

Farmhouse Visit

This Farmhouse was just what we were looking for. It's location was a half point from Buffalo, NY, where my son and his family is from and Lancaster, PA, where daughter and her family live. There was plenty room for all 8 of us. There was plenty of room in the back yard for the kids to play. The Fire pit was great! And we were able to do smores with the kids. It is close to Walmart, which we made use of for a few things which were forgotten. The owner was easy to communicate with. Hopefully, we will be able to do this annually!

Would recommend

Both property and personality were top grade. There were some differences in agreements between VRBO, and posted agreements from the renter which made it difficult to understand all expectations. However, communication with the owner was swift and anyplace there was a difference or confusion the renter immediately made us feel like we had no problems.

We opened our home as a vacation rental in 2009. We moved to another home and decided to turn it into a vacation rental rather than sell the property. My husband and I both own other businesses in downtown Wellsboro, PA. I am the owner of The Fifth Season, a women's boutique and home furnishings store. (Stop by and visit the store, especially if you love the design style and decor in the homes.) My husband is a partner in a telecommunications company called Indigo Wireless. We are very active in our community and are often found working on one of our many charity or philanthropic ventures.We are the proud parents of 4 children. 2 older boys one who lives in Scottsbluff NE and one who will soon be graduating from University of Pittsburgh. We have 2 young girls, one who is 4 and one who is 7 who love attending Montessori and doing dance and gymnastics and performing in shows.

My husband purchased this property in 1997 and raised his 2 older sons here. He moved to the area to build a cellular system in the area. They were animal lovers and had a Noah's ark of rescued animals living on the property which is perfectly conducive to many animals with the large open pastures and nostalgic renovated red roofed barn. When my husband and I met in 2006 we decided we needed to live in Wellsboro to be closer to our other businesses. Rather than sell the home we decided to turn it into a vacation rental and share the beautiful setting with others.

It is a very peaceful oasis to visit when you are looking to get-a- way from the fast paced life of the city and suburbs. If you love a beautifully decorated home with all the modern amenities this is the home for you. The homes are decorated in the lovely 'Fifth Season' style.
