Great family get away

We enjoyed this property for our needs, the two bedrooms downstairs worked out well for me because i am handicapped and the three bedrooms upstairs were fine fo the rest of our family and guests.

Beautiful home! Well appointed & great location on canal

This was our second stay at this house. Had great amenities! We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes and mopeds. Also, situated in a nice neighborhood and a great canal location.

Great Place

This home is spacious and had plenty of room for all 7 of us. Great pool, quiet neighborhood and Travis and Steve were very helpful and quick to respond to questions or needs. Will definitely be coming back!

beautiful.... reflects the essence of Siesta Key!

We live on Siesta Key and needed an overflow house for a very large family reunion. It was perfect! We actually rented two houses and the other was far from perfect with tons of issues. I highly recommend this property for your vacation!

Vaca in May

First experience with VRBO and I’m afraid we’ve set a high bar for expectations going forward. The house was amazing with more than enough room. The pool was perfect for starting and ending the day after running around town or spending the day at the beach. Hope to come back again!

Wonderful

Great house! Has everything you need. Clean. On the canal. Has kayaks, bikes etc. we spent all of the time in the pool and hottub. Ubered to village.

Awesome Vacation Home

We brought our family of 8 adults and 2 young children to Siesta Key and stayed at this home. It was very clean and well stocked with towels and cleaning supplies. We used the pool and spa every day and the balconies were a hit to just sit and relax! Kayaking and paddle boarding was an added bonus and we took a few bike rides into town. We enjoyed the rec room playing pool and cards. We even rented a golf cart from The Toy Barn to get us to the beach and downtown. It was fun! Siesta Key beach is our favorite vacation spot and would love to stay at this home again.

Big house great for a big group!

Had a great week at Siesta Key. The house was awesome with lots of gathering spaces for our group of 10 adults. And plenty of room in the kitchen for the many meals we enjoyed cooking together. Actually caught about 15 fish out of the canal which added to our grilling of shrimp, ribs, steak and chicken from the local Publix and Costco. And 5 guys in their 60’s riding through Siesta Village on the colorful bicycles got some amused smiles. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your lovely home.

Great family house

We spent a week here and loved it. The location was close enough to the beach that it was an easy drive or reasonable bike ride. It was far enough that it was outside of the Party Zone. The kitchen appliances are workable and there are enough tools to cobble up a meal. The massage chair is a great touch and our boys took advantage of the pool table every night. The spa/pool combination was awesome. But best of all was the peaceful view off the back porch(es) looking over the canal while having a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening.

Great week!

Very nice home. Great location on canal. Pool very nice and hot tub was HOT. Upstairs was fantastic although we didn’t make use of the amenities that much as we were outside in pool! Good supply of kitchen tools. Grill really nice with two spare propane tanks and that is really thoughtful. Good kayak and paddle boards. A great home and we really had a great time. Owner and management super responsive to all questions. Top notch

A WONDERFUL STAY AT VENICE LANE

OUR FAMILY HAD A WONDERFUL SPRING BREAK TRIP HERE! THE HOME WAS EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL IN PERSON. THE SPACE WAS PERFECT FOR THE ADULTS, TEENS AND YOUNGER CHILDREN IN OUR FAMILY. EVERYONE HAD A PLACE STAY & HANGOUT AT. WE LOVED THE DAILY KAYAK AND PADDLEBOARD TRIPS. MY 15 YR OLD SON CAUGHT & RELEASED AT LEAST 60+ FISH FROM THE CANAL/DOCK AREA. FRESH SHRIMP FROM CB'S BAITSHOP WORKED GREAT FOR DAYTIME FISHING AND FROZEN SQUID FOR THE NIGHT TIME CATFISH. WE ENJOYED THE EVENING WALKS WITH OUR SMALL DOGS AROUND THE BEAUTIFUL AND QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD. THE POOL & HOT TUB WERE GREAT- ALWAYS THE PERFECT TEMP. PLENTY OF LINENS, BEACH TOYS, LIFE JACKETS AND A COOLER TO USE IN THE GARAGE. BIKES WERE NICE. MR. STEVE DID A GREAT JOB OF ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS DURING OUR TRIP AND WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE. WE ENJOYED OUR NIGHTLY DINNERS IN THE VILLAGE. WE CAN'T WAIT TO RENT HERE AGAIN!

Nice, but needs some heavy cleaning

Nice property. It needs some heavy cleaning inside and out. There is lots of green mold on the pool deck and outside on the balaconies. The shower floors have lots of dirty tiles and floors in between the grout. The knives are not sharp and need to be replaced. They are dangerous. We requested and paid additional money to have the pool heated. However, the pool temperature never reached beyond 77 degreees. They need to install a gas heater, not an electric one. We wouldn’t stay again on this property.

We are sorry for your inconveniences; Living in Florida by the water with the heat & humidity mildew grows quickly & outdoor areas need to be pressure washed often & it is scheduled several times a year. Unfortunately your stay was in between pressure washings, & since has been done. There is not an additional fee for pool heat but for the overall maintenance of the pool. AMAZING Family Vacation!!

First have to start off with one word, WOW!!!! This home allowed us to have a family vacation filled with so much fun and life long memories! The house is laid out with spacious bedrooms w/ ensuites and comfortable beds, along with two large living room spaces, one with a pool table and arcade games (some of us have some rematches to do). The downstairs outdoor deck was perfect during the mornings, afternoons and early evenings where we could cook and hang out while sunbathing and cooling off in the pool under the warm FL sunshine. The game / living room w/ the outdoor porch worked out fantastic where we could have fun and cool down in the cool evening / night air while our 12month old slept in one of the first floor bedrooms without any issues and the hot tub at night was an added bonus. The awesome amenities of this property held us tight to the home and we truly enjoyed everything it could offer!! The bicycles, kayaks and paddle board were all definitely a big plus to have! Cruising down the canal in the kayaks and paddle board made for some nice sight seeing of the neighborhood and the bicycles were nice to ride down to the village. Siesta Key / Sarasota is an amazing area. We took some days trips to world renowned places: Siesta Key Beach with its baby powder sand, St. Armands circle with its variety of shops and a delicious lunch at the The Columbia Restaurant (gotta have the Cuban sandwhich and their signature salad), Siesta Key Village for some drinks at Gillgans, Daquari Deck, Hubs, coffee at LeLu Coffee lounge and delicious breakfast at Another Broken Egg. So much to do and see, but again, just being at the home and taking in all that it offered was perfect!! We could not have asked for a better property for our family vacation! The owners were very communicative and responsive and a pleasure to work with. Steve, the super friendly maintenance manager, stopped by to check on us to make sure everything was good and offered some great suggestions on where to go / do. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet If you are looking for a great place to stay in Siesta Key with a group of friends and / or family, this is your spot!!!!

When we got to the house, we were unable to check in right away due to the cleaning ladies still working. Once we were in we found food still thrown in the pantry and on the floor, clogged sinks, sliding toilet seats, broken locks, a very dirty grill and appliances that somewhat worked. Luckily we were handy enough to fix or manage with these issues. Kayaks and paddles boards were listed as an amenity which was one of the biggest reasons we chose this house-we were very disappointed to only find one paddle board with missing plugs. When we contacted the owner he stated that was out of his control. Due to some other issues we dealt with the owner managed to rent us a kayak and paddle board for half our stay. The pack n play could use a good cleaning or replacement as well! A bike tire pump would be a great addition as many of the bikes had low tires.

Great Getaway!

We loved this home and it was the perfect place to host 5 adults and 3 children. We were able to swim, kayak, and fish right off the dock most days. It was great to have 2 living rooms as the younger kids went to bed early and we were able to keep the lower level quiet for them. The hosts were great in communicating and check in/out was very easy. We also loved the location, it’s on a quiet street but so close to everything in Siesta Key. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this place again for our next visit. Thank you!

Fantastic Property

We have just enjoyed a lovely stay at this property. The house is huge and has everything you could possibly need. We have stayed at Siesta Key many times as this time was as wonderful as all the others. The later check out was very much appreciated.

Siesta Key visit

Terrific property. Very clean. Plenty of room for all our guests. Pool and spa were excellent and used extensively. House is right on canal - we kayaked all week. Steve the property manager stopped in the first day to ensure everything was going smoothly. Having a washer/dryer was very convenient. Views from multiple balconies were great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Awesome House

Great house! Had enough space for everyone, two beautiful porches, gorgeous pool and hot tub. This house literally had everything you need for a family vacation. The location was only minutes to the beach by car or bike. This was one of the best houses my family has stayed in on vacation. I would definitely recommend it. Awesome Siesta Key home!

Spring Break 2019

We had a great week staying here! Both porches offered comfortable seating to enjoy the spring Florida weather and our kids loved the hot tub and pool. They were diving in my 8 a.m. most days. It’s a short drive to the beach and the village but the house had so many amenities we rarely had to leave. An additional family favorite for us was the massage chair. Great week. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Had a wonderful time!

The setting is very quiet and peaceful.with a pleasant view. The house is laid out very well with larger open spaces both upstairs and downstairs to just enjoy being together as a larger group, as well as several deck areas to have a quiet conversation or sit and read. It is equipped with many amenities including bicycles, kayaks and water boards,also a high chair and porta crib. Siesta Village is a few minutes away and has many delightful shops as well as a variety of eating places...and of course, the amazing Siesta Beach! all are convenient to this location. We loved every minute of our stay!
