Not as clean as I am used to staying. the price I paid i assume the Confo would be spotless. The Condo had comfortable beds,plenty of linen. Great views on Thames Street and of the Harbor. Balcony was nice also. It was walking distance for all shopping and restaurants which we love.The host was easily accessible, when we arrived the keys had been placed in the wrong key box so we couldn’t access the Condo, he called immediately after I texted and we were able to locate them and access the condo.I would recommend staying here if you want to be close to everything downtown Newport offers.Thank you for hosting us

The hallway to the condo looked like a day care. I'm sure it was a safety hazzard. The rooms were large but need repairs and cleaning. The condo was poorly marked and not easy to find.Porch was dilapidated and dirty. The fan in the bathroom was full of dirt and disgusting!! This is absolutely NOT a luxury condo! Renter beware.

Living space was very nice and updated. The beds were very comfortable and the all the rooms were spacious. Lovely kitchen and full sized washer and dryer. Another sofa or living room chairs would have made the living room more comfortable, especially considering how many people could sleep in this unit. The shower in the non-ensuite bathroom is quite small - a bathtub in there would be fabulous since it is a large room. The building itself was quite disappointing, though, which I recognize is not the fault of the homeowner. But it is extremely rundown and the elevator and carpet are ancient. The building owners need to invest in this property and oversee the common areas. The interior hallway to the unit was used by the neighbor as their own space to store baby equipment and boxes! Such abuse. I sympathize with the owner who’s invested in their specific unit in a perfect location with a wonderful view. The disrepair of the building is shameful.We still recommend this nice rental, but best to know what to expect regarding the building. On-site parking was great.

We had five lifelong girlfriends stay, and the condo worked out perfectly. The balcony had great views and see our attached photo of the sunset from our balcony. Plenty of towels and comforts from home. Would recommend fixing some items such as lightbulbs that are out, hooks that are broken, replace shower curtain, repair balcony screen, add handles back to open windows and chairs that need replacing on the balcony. Would recommend speaking to neighbors to clean up the hallway upon entry as it is a poor presentation and first impressionPlenty of towels. Host was very unresponsive until the bitter end and then only occasionally.

This apartment was right on Thames where great shopping is. Wonderful coffee shops within walking distance as well as restaurants. The place was well stocked and maintained. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

The communication was a struggle and response time was several days. The location was great, but the property could use some TLC and updates/repairs. Thankfully there are plenty of fans, because the AC doesn't seem to work or work well in the bedrooms. There is a dog in the unit across the hall that barked a lot.

The condo was an excellent location on Thames Street. Our landlord was readily available throughout our stay. Two welcome bottles of wine and a snack were greatly appreciated. We made use of the washer and dryer in our unit. There was a Stop and Shop within walking distance where we purchased breakfast foods.We did have a little difficulty finding our parking spot in the garage, but managed.I would definitely recommend this condo for a stay in Newport. It’s a beautiful area where we enjoyed the mansions, a sunset sail and some wonderful food.

Location good. Kitchen well stocked. Building is old and somewhat run down, but the apartment itself is well appointed. Communication with host nonexistent once last payment made. I messaged several days prior to check-in inquiring about possible early check-in and never heard a thing back. It served our needs but we will find a different place next time.

5 star Rhode Island condo

This was my favorite home rental of all time! The location could not be any better and it came with 2 parking spaces, which was wonderful when we had local friends visit us. The condo had every amenity we needed, was super spacious, and very clean. My only complaint was that the master bathroom's shower had very weak water pressure. Also, the larger bedroom facing Thames was warm even with the A/C running. The fans provided helped but the kids said they were hot at night. Even with these 2 issues, I would rent this place again. Wonderful!

Great Location

Stayed at this property over the 4th of July weekend and the location was excellent! Great people watching from the outside balcony. Overall, the place was super clean and very comfortable. Property was everything described in the listing and some! Nice to have so many extra towels too. Just wish we had stayed a little longer.

We really needed a three bedroom condo so this didn’t work well for us. The teens took over the “living room” with the great view of the bay and the balcony.The location is great. We appreciated parking for two cars. However, the unit is very tired. The water pressure in the showers is very low and there was a light out in the shower. We probably could have called and gotten it fixed but we were busy doing other things. I wouldn’t stay in that unit again.

spacious condo with amazing view.

Great girls trip with friends of 44 years so it had to special and it was!. Spacious, warm, with amazing views.Beds were comfortable, linens were nice, nice touch with welcoming gifts of snacks and two wines.great location.few things you should know are:floors were very dusty and parking numbered spaces were not clearly painted.,hooks in bathroom were broken.Other than that it was just perfect.I will book again for sureCan't wait to stay again!

Great location

The apartment/condo was very clean and the location was great - we could walk to everything - even to the cliff walk. I would not consider this as a 3 bedroom Unit - the 3rd bedroom is the living room with a daybed and couch in it. Also entry areas need TLC

Great Location

Overall a great stay. The location is amazing. Because of the location, the street noise goes past midnight, but that wasn’t a problem for our group. The place was clean and the parking is a plus! The beds were comfortable and everything was so convenient.

We have lived in Newport, Rhode Island for the past 7 years and love every minute in Newport. Kenton works as an engineer at Johnson & Johnson and Alexandra recently finished business school working as an engineer.

We enjoy renting vacation homes ourselves but have a hard time leaving Newport! Feel free to ask about any recommendations for restaurants or other attractions.

Our favorite spots are Gooseberry Beach, Midtown Oyster Bar (across the street) and The Clarke Cooke House.

The condo is centrally located in Newport so all the shops and restaurants are right out the front door well within a 1 min walk. Newport's Easton's Beach (1st Beach) and the historic Cliff Walk are 1 mile away, about a 10-15 min walk.

Finally, probably the feature about the condo most guests enjoy is the balcony, which is about 6' by 20' so can easily accommodate your family. You have a great view of the harbor and Thames St so get the full Newport experience for the weekend.
