We stayed with a large group and had a fun and active week. The beach on Seymour pond is right there where kids enjoyed swimming and playing in the sand. We also brought a canoe, and caught a few small fish.
One of the highlights of the trip was biking to Linnell Landing beach on the Bay side which we did several times. The bike trail is almost visible from the house, and it is an easy 5 mile ride to this beach mostly on the bike path and a small section of not too busy road. The path also passes a bike shop, and ice cream. We played in the warm shallow water, searched for crabs, and explored.
We found the house to be large, and made use of the heated outdoor shower, the grill, and the fire pit for cooking marshmallows. Our only small complaint was that the kitchen was not that well stocked (chef knives, big pans with lids, bowls, etc...) for the amount of cooking we were doing. For a smaller group or less ambitious cooks it would be fine.
If you want a big house with plenty of parking centrally located, look no further and don't forget to bring bikes.
