Great host! Great communication. Condo was exactly as promised. It was well stocked and beds were super comfy! Love staying at Truman Annex because it is so close to everything you would need or want in Key West.

We had a great stay! Our host was very quick with communication and answerd any questions we had before arriving. I loved the location! It was walking distance to so many things! We had plenty of room to spread out after a long day. I really appreciated that the closets had shelves to unpack suitcases instead of taking floor spaces with dressers. Big thanks to Marie for a great space!

Property was perfect for our family. We enjoyed touring the island on bikes, lots of trips through the streets of Old Town shopping, dining, touring the sites.

Perfect location & amenities for a Key West stay

A perfect location and amenities for a Key West stay for those wanting to be able to walk to most places in Old Town KW. Property is clean, spacious, and has all the amenities needed to dine at home at times as well as close proximity to fine dining and plenty of bars and tourist spots as well.

Great stay!

Excellent location, condo is equipped with everything you need. Marie was attentive and checked in on us during and after Tropical Storm Elsa to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property!

Perfect location for all the things KeyWest

This is our 2nd visit to the shabby chicken and found it just as delightful as the first time. Perfect location for walking distance to Duval street for fun, food and shopping. Easy drop off and pick up location for the bikes we rented. Property was clean, cute and had everything we needed. Host Marie is a delight to work with and very responsive. We even met her delightful cleaning lady, Karen. Thank you for a great week!

Great quiet spot within walking distance to pretty much anything

We had a great time staying here. While some pieces of the property seem a bit worse for wear, overall it was lovely and just what we needed. We didn't drive at all during our stay and still had access to the boating options and restaurants anyone could possibly want.

The sea salt air seems to get at this appliances, I replaced them as soon as you checked-out. I also checked in with our cleaner to see if anything else needed attention. Best on the Island!

We have been staying in Key West for 17 years and usually come twice a year if not three. This place by far has been the best all categories including the price. I hope that we able to stay at this location every time we are in town.

Location, location, location!

Great spot near the main entrance to the Truman Annex. From there, easy walk or bike to nearly everywhere. Owner was very communicative and responsive well before our arrival.

Great neighbor right in the heart of Key West

We really enjoyed our stay. Truman Annex is right in the heart of Key West, was able to walk to everything. Comfortable home with all the extras, beach towels & chairs, cooler. The pool was cool which felt great on the hot days. Would stay here again.

Fabulous Stay at the Shabby Chicken

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo in Key West. The location was terrific, walking distance to all of the sights, shops and restaurants. Inside the condo was also perfect, with an open kitchen and seating. We also truly enjoyed the outdoor patio. The host was very responsive and the rooms were clean and spacious. I would definately recommend this rental for your upcoming stay in Key West.

We LOVED the Shabby Chicken

The Shabby Chicken was even better than we had anticipated! The space was bigger than expected, clean, and had a great layout. We walked all over the island and the Shabby Chicken was a perfect location for our home base. I hope to stay here again the next time we make it to the Keys.

Each time I come down, I realize how large our place is compared to so many other condos - it's one of the largest in the Shipyard and I feel so lucky to share with others. Perfect getaway

The location of the condo is perfect. We walked and rode bikes to everywhere we needed. Condo is fully stocked with everything you may need. Would definitely stay again!

A perfect deck for early morning sunrises and sunbathing

We both grew up in Ohio, met at Ohio State University, married and moved to Charlotte, NC and then Chicago. We moved back to Ohio but the winters are long . Visiting Key West allows us to slow down and really enjoy a different pace of life and the warm weather.

We purchased this property, and named it The Shabby Chicken, for the shabby chic design we choose for the place. The Shabby Chicken is a sanctuary from when life has you running around like a chicken. The lifestyle in Key West and amazing sunsets can all teach us to keep life simple and take pause when you can. The only rush hour here is the walk to your favorite happy hour. We retreat to the keys to unwind and relax, hear live music, eat great local seafood.

Our ground floor, large floor plan condo offers more light as the whole back of the place has french doors and windows. Our large outdoors has both sunny and shade areas. The deck and patio is private and very nicely landscaped and has plenty of seating. There is a pull up area at the front door, which makes for easy loading and unloading of suit cases, groceries, etc. You'll have an designated parking spot for your vehicle.
