Checking in and getting access was no problems.
Overall cleanliness was less than expected, but the overall space was very comfortable.
We stayed during early December, and it was snowy and cold. There was a lot of wood for the fireplace which we used, but the patio doors did not seem to seal very well against the wind. The heating system worked well, but took a while to figure it out.
Since this was a December stay, there was no other resort facilities open, and the lake was starting to freeze, so we spent our time indoors.
In summary, this was a very fun stay. It was what we expected in that the unit had most of what we needed (dishes, pots/pans, etc), and it had the relaxed "cabin" feel with comfortable furniture and furnishings.
If there is something that you really need, I would suggest you bring it, as the kitchen items are adequate, but basic.
I think that summer would be a very fun place to stay, but early winter in Minnesota is usually pretty bleak.
