A very enjoyable stay.

Kay is a welcoming and friendly host. The cozy accomodations were most enjoyable and the property was beautiful with large trees and gardens.

Easy and great communication

Kay was great! She was able to keep in communication via text so we could stay in contact about arrival times, where the property was, etc. the space was clean and cozy!

Great Place

Great place for me to stay while working in Willmar. Private, clean, everything I would need. Highly recommend! Kay is very receptive and answers quickly if there are any questions.

Kay is a wonderful host! Her place is bright, colorful, cheerful, cozy, inviting & very well maintained! The house & gardens are charming & delightful; we really enjoyed our stroll through the garden the morning of checking out. The location was excellent for our needs and easy to find. It is a basement apartment: there are stairs to navigate, and the lighting is pretty bright for me personally. The twin bed is on an elevated section of flooring that my back & knees would not want to contend with, but my son slept there and my husband & I slept in the queen bed on the other side of the room. Kay gave us great tips on the area which we followed and had a great time!

Nice space in a cozy home-like atmosphere

Exactly what we look for on VRBO. We stayed a couple nights and had a great time. Kay is a fantastic host. Neighborhood is nice and walking distance to good food and drink. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

No Extra Charge for use of 2 Kayaks

In addition to all the nice things other reviewers already have listed (very helpful property owner, late arrival 10:00 pm was allowed, etc.), we were able to use both of her kayaks and paddles which we took to a nearby lake with a swimming beach. And, the use of the washer & dryer likewise was appreciated.

Great spot in a great town

This property was exactly what is described in the post. It was extremely clean, contained all required amenities, and couldn't be closer to downtown Willmar. I worked downtown on a temp job and was able to bike to/from work everyday (weather permitting). Hospitality was great and I am happy I found this spot.

Another Great Stay

This is our 2nd time at this location and we love it here! The yard is beautiful, the apartment is exactly what we need and the hostess is wonderful! Staying at her place makes it so easy for us to not have to put any family out while we are visiting. We love it here!

Nice place to stay in Willmar

Kay was a great host. I didn't check in until after 10 at night and that wasn't a problem. The accommodations were what I needed and the price was right. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you but if you are looking for a nice clean place that has the basics then I would recommend. The yard is beautiful and the host is very accommodating. My reason for going to Willmar was to see the baseball team, The Stingers. Her place is only a short drive, maybe 5-10 minutes from the field. Thanks for a great stay Kay!

The yard is beautiful and studio was perfect!

We come to Willmar every year to visit family. This basement studio was perfect for us! It is larger than a hotel room and very quite. The yard is beautiful, I felt like I saw new flowers every day. The owner is very welcoming, we had a great time visiting with her. She bakes scones and they were delish! Hopefully it works out where we can stay here again in the future!! Do not be afraid to book this for your stay in Willmar, you will be amazed!

Willmar Studio

We enjoyed our stay in his fun studio apartment for 7 days. More space than most motels. Quiet as well. Was to chilly to be outside but the patio area was lovely. We also enjoyed fresh baked goodies.

I enjoy being in the historical part of town with the new wave of immigrants succeeding the original European settlers.
Willmar is a railroad town with an active train yard.

Easy access to Robbins Island Recreational park provides a destination playground, disc course, bike trails, walking paths, and lake access for fishing and canoeing and kayaking.
