Spectacular Sorrento Apartment Overlooking Bay of Naples
Wow! what a place! Private and out of the way, fantastic view of Mt. Vesuvius from the veranda, and access to an ultimate private beach! Mario and Rafaelle met us at the apartment to show us how everything worked and introduced us to the lifeguard at the beach. Mario even spent a short time giving us Americans a lesson on how to use an espresso coffee maker. We enjoyed our Italian coffee every morning watching the incoming ferries, cruise ships and waiting for the fog to lift off the mountain. Daily cleaning service was very welcome. Well appointed and comfortable furnishings - both bedrooms having access to the wrap around porch. Great jumping off point for visits to Capri and Amalfi coast. The apartment owner is a well know photographer to the area - the apartment has several examples of his work - we also visited his exhibition at a church in Sorrento one evening. Mario was extremely helpful - restaurant recommendations, directions to a grocery store, tour arrangements and making contact with a lemon farm for a private lunch. 15-20 minute walk to center of Sorrento. Highly recommend staying in this apartment or any other property Mario represents. We could go on for days about this absolutely superb piece of heaven!
