The stY in this wonderful apartment was a real pleasure.one of the best, i ever had in my life. Wonderfull, privately equipped. Top clean.Any the large Terrace wonderfull to sit in the evening, oberlooking Certaldo alto.

In the middle of Tuscany Wineyards

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is well equiped and centrally located in the Tuscany wineyard landscape. Great penthouse terrasse with wonderful views all time of the day, but especially in the evening at sunset.

Beautiful appartment

Very nice apartment (penthouse) in a quiet area. Fully furnished. Very luxurious and clean. Good reception with clear explanation. Good communication with the owner. Highly recommended for those who don't want to be among the tourists.

Great accommodation with no blemishes

Fully equipped, clean and spacious flat with very large terrace. Authentic living in the middle of Certaldo among Italians. Parking of the car is possible without any problems. We liked it. Thank you and best regards!

Spacious and comfortable

The owner Romanello and his English-speaking son Simone were present to greet us and present the apartment. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully maintained, with a modern kitchen, excellent cooking utensils and dishware, comfortable beds, and conveniently located. Plentiful street parking at all hours, helpful private elevator, and excellent LARGE veranda with good view of Certaldo Alta. Easy 10 minute walk to feniculare to old Certaldo, Beautiful countryside especially down toward Greve in Chianti.

Spacious apartment with very large terrace. Great views.

We really enjoyed our stay in this large, very clean and well equipped apartment. (Would have been nice to have a coffee maker of some kind.) The only air conditioning unit is in the living room and it is a long way to the bedrooms. There are fans, but it can get quite warm in the bedrooms. Overall, a great apartment with good outdoor spaces with nice views and awesome sunsets. There can be quite a bit of street noise at times, and if you are sensitive to smoke as my wife is, be aware that there must have been smokers in the apartment at some time.

Great base in Tuscany

The apartment was perfect for our month of exploring Tuscany. We had a car so we were able to visit so many small towns , but the train station is right in town for easy access to Florence,Siena and other local towns. The apartment is immaculate, very good kitchen with everything we needed. House stayed cool even with an unseasonably warm May. The huge terrace was used daily for cocktails, sunbathing and BBQing. This is one of the best apartments we’ve stayed in , in our many years of renting. Thanks Simone and Romanello for being so helpful and always being available. Tom & Nancy N. San Diego

Fabulous Apartment

The 2 bedroom apartment is in an excellent location in the town of Certaldo. Road and train network very good and easy parking of a car. The location does have some traffic noise but it did not spoil our stay. The apartment has all the appliances needed for easy living. Washing machine and dishwasher fabulous. The terrace is large and sunny and the use of sun loungers a very big bonus. The cleanliness was brilliant and there was lots of clean bedding and towels available for our stay. We have booked again for next year because the apartment was so good in every way. The owners were lovely and gave us complete privacy which we always appreciate.

Beautiful apartment conveniently located for day trips

This is a beautiful spacious apartment in a great location. We used it as a base for day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence and other spectacular places in Tuscany. Our experience from beginning to end exceeded our expectations. Simone and his wife Elenxa are awesome. Our flight was delayed, by the time we rented a car at the Florence airport and made it to Certaldo it was past 10pm yet Elena was waiting for us with the keys to show us the apartment and give us the information we needed to start our Tuscan journey.. When we had a question Simone was always quick to respond via WhatsApp. The communication pre-arrival and during our stay was always easy and prompt. We also had the opportunity to meet Simone’s dad Romanello as well as little Lorenzo ! All in all a great experience. We hope to do it again soon.

Just perfect !

We were two couples who decided to see Italy in all her glory.. We rented a car and did a 18 day road trip from Amalfi to Venice. We rented apartments along the way and visited all the beautiful corners of Italy. This apartment was such a perfect place for our four day stop. One of the reasons we chose it was its proximity to many cities we wanted to visit. From there Cinque Terre was a 2.5 hr drive, Sienna was approx. 45 min. Pisa approximately 1.5 hrs and of course.. Florence :) A bonus was that this apartment was a ten minute walk from the train that took us right into the heart of Florence in 45 minutes and we didn't have to take the car and deal with traffic or parking. Now for the apartment !! It is a penthouse with an enormous terrace. There are beautiful plants with flowers and herbs all around and two large awnings with a built in bbq. We cooked and set a table outside and sat sipping wine and watching the sunset over the old city. Inside, it is immaculate and very very spacious. There;s a closed off eat in kitchen, dining room, living room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The air conditioning unit is only in the living room, but it kept the house cool enough and each bedroom had a standing fan which helped a lot (heat wave when we were staying, so ordinarily, I'm sure it's perfect) It was furnished with very traditional European furniture and was very comfortable. The only thing we missed is having Wifi.. as each evening we liked to connect with home and plan the next day.. We'd have to do that in the mornings at a cafe which was about a ten minute walk away. Simone and his girlfriend greeted us, showed us around and provided us with a book with very useful information about restaurants, train schedules, internet cafes and so on. We highly recommend this apartment ! You will not be disappointed. Ciao.

Fantastic! I can't thank the hosts enough. He had flight delays and had Vespa Scooters delivered while we were still in the air. They took care of that and it was totally not thier responsibility and can't thank them enought!! The place for 2 people is huge. Great location in Certaldo and a wonderful view of Certaldo Alto (the old town on the hill). Great Great Great!

Es war eine wundervolle Zeit. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein Traum, angefangen vom Check in. Romanello und sein Sohn Simone sind sehr nette Menschen. Auch der Kontakt vor der Anreise hat schon sehr gut funktioniert. Als wir ankamen wurden wir schon erwartet.Uns wurde alles gezeigt und erklärt. Die Umgebung perfekt, wenn man nicht den vollen Trubel haben möchte und auch nicht ganz abseits sein will.

Schöne große Ferienwohnung

Wir sind mit 4 Personen verreist, alle über 18. Die Besitzer haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Man fühlte sich sofort wohl. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Der Blick von der Terasse ist sehr schön , weil man das mitterlalterliche Certaldo auf dem Hügel super sehen kann. Von dem Ort erreicht man gut die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toscana, wenn man ein Auto dabei hat . Wir können das Objekt nur weiterempfehlen und würden gerne wieder dorthin fahren. Ganz liebe Grüße an die supernetten Vermieter!

Tolle Lage im Mittelpunkt der Toskana

Diese Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und beeindruckte uns durch ihre Größe und Sauberkeit. Wir wurden herzlich durch die netten Vermieter begrüßt. Die Übernahme und Rückübergabe gestalteten sich problemlos. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die große Terrasse mit Blick auf Certaldo Alto, welcher am Abend besonders beeindruckend ist. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an unsere beiden Gastgeber. Die Toskana ist eine wunderschöne Region Italiens. Wir werden alles in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten.

Un grand appartement très confortable

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce grand appartement à la décoration cossue, très confortable et tout équipé. Une splendide terrasse où nous avons pris nos repas avec vue sur le village de Certaldo. Nous avons pu visiter à proximité San Giminiano (excellent restaurant Le Vecchie Mura avec terrasse panoramique), Sienne et ul peu plus loin Florence. Merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité. Nous recommandons cette location.

Fantastische locatie voor Toscane

Dat is een heel mooi appartement. Van alle gemakken voorzien. (enige dat mist is Wifi) Certaldo is ook nog eens een heel mooi en gezellig plaatsje. Ook een goede uitvalsbasis om alle bekende plekken van Toscane te bezoeken.

Veramente ottima sistemazione

La descrizione è totalmente corrispondente alla realtà. L'appartamento è pulitissimo e fornito di tutto, non manca proprio niente. Posizione ottima per visitare tutti i più bei borghi della Toscana. I proprietari sono molto cordiali e disponibili. Ci siamo trovato così bene che qualche volta avevamo una certa riluttanza a uscire di casa. Lo consiglio senz'altro.

Great location and great place to stay

This is a super place to stay. Very roomy, amenities make it feel like home. Our GPS took didn't get us to he location so Estelle and her husband came out to show us the way- even though it was late. We used the house as or base and hit all of the places we anted to see. The local wine and food festival was a special treat. Our terrific Italian vacation started with a great place to stay.
