Art and spa surrounded by nature - Heated Pool

The house is an old eighteenth-century farmhouse owned by our family for about 150 years, renovated with the desire to maintain as much of the original features as possible. It is located on the first hills of Valdinievole and enjoys a superb view over the entire valley. In a strategic position to visit all of Tuscany: Montecatini Terme is just a few minutes away, Lucca and Pistoia can be reached in less than half an hour, Florence, Pisa, Chianti and Versilia less than an hour.
The building is divided into two independent living units: one of about 120 square meters where you guests will stay and one where we live.
The outdoor area consists of a garden of about 2000 square meters, a 9x5 m swimming pool and an olive grove with more than 500 olive trees that you will share with me and my family.
From March 15 to June 15 and from September 15 to November 15 the pool is heated to about 27°C (about 80°F); a clarification following questions received from our guests: in case of rain the heating system cannot maintain the set temperature.

The interiors are furnished with furniture owned by my family for generations and in 2023 we completed important renovations that made the entire building earthquake-proof, ecological and sustainable.

We are discreet owners and available to guests' requests: we started renting out the house to share the beauty of our land with travelers from all over the world. If you need directions, advice, tricks or anything else to make your vacation the best possible, we are here for that. My wife and I are Industrial Engineers and in our free time, in addition to traveling, we love the mountains in all their expressions: trekking, climbing, winter and summer mountaineering. In recent years I have also become passionate about mountain biking and I will be happy to show you all the most beautiful itineraries starting directly from home.

Property was as advertised in a great location for exploring northern Tuscany. Pierluigi was a great manager and provided many helpful suggestions on where to go and how to get around.

We were absolutely blown away by this stunning and authentic Tuscan villa in Massa e Cozzile. The views from the terrace were breathtaking, and the location was ideal — just a short drive from Montecatini Terme’s town center. It was the perfect base for us, coming all the way from Australia, and so convenient for our family and friends flying in from Europe via Pisa Airport.The villa was spotless, spacious, and perfectly suited for our group of six. Pierluigi was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. Having parking for two cars was a great bonus, and the pool was a dream — perfect for children and easy to keep an eye on from the loungers or the terrace above.We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and memorable Tuscan getaway. Highly recommended!.

"We were very impressed with the standard of accommodation and hospitality of the owners who were very helpful and friendly. The house was very clean and well equipped with towels, kitchen equipment etc. The views are fantastic and it is very peaceful. We had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. The only minor recommendation we would give to the owners is perhaps the provision of a coffee machine and a microwave."

We had a wonderful time in Massa E Cozzile!

The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you need, although when we were "at home" we spent most of our time on the terrace with the super nice view or in and around the pool. Pierluigi and his family live next door and he is very helpful if you have questions, but we didn't see them very often. The location is also great: Pisa, Lucca and Florence are all about 45min away by car and we found this beautiful free and fairly empty Spiaggia della Lecciona in Viareggio (also about 50min) – which was actually my personal highlight. I have already recommended the place to a colleague and will probably do so more often :)

Top Urlaub

Man findet die Unterkunft so vor, wie beschrieben. In den Schlafräumen sind zudem Ventilatoren, die nachts hilfreich sein können. Der Pool ist wirklich überragend, ebenso die Terrasse mit Blick auf Montecatini-Terme, wo wir viele Stunden zum Spielen und sämtliche Mahlzeiten genossen haben. Pierluigi ist ein perfekter Gastgeber, der immer und zuvorkommend auf Anfragen oder Extra-Wünsche reagiert.Empfehlen können wir die Zugfahrt nach Florenz von Pistoia (umsonst parken und entspannt in der Stadtmitte ankommen) und einen Kochkurs mit Nicole (einfach Pierluigi fragen !). Wir nehmen toskanische Kochrezepzte mit nach Hause !Vielen Dank für alles. Wenn Toskana, dann hier !!!!!

Erholung für Körper und Seele

Wir haben unseren 2wöchigen Aufenthalt sehr, sehr genossen. Jeder Tag war ein Highlight - egal ob "zu Hause" am Pool und auf der traumhaften Terrasse - oder bei den Ausflügen nach Florenz, Siena und Lucca. Das Haus ist wunderschön, genauso wie die Umgebung. Florenz ist in einer Stunde mit dem Zug erreichbar was wir einige Male genutzt haben.

Un posto meraviglioso, le camere e gli ambienti curati e puliti, la piscina, la stupenda terrazza a disposizione dove cenare al tramonto su una vista magnifica, e non per ultimo la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei proprietari hanno reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile! Consigliatissimo!!!

Entspannter Urlaub in der Toskana

Der Vermieter wohnt mit seiner Familie im direkt angrenzenden Haus. Er ist sehr hilfsbereit, dabei aber sehr zurückhaltend. Wir haben ihn kaum gesehen. Das Haus ist sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Betten sind mit einer Länge.von 1,90m für uns ein bisschen zu kurz gewesen. Die Fenster haben Fliegengitter, so dass auch unliebsame Mitbewohner draußen bleiben. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es einige Katzen, die gerne auch mal ins Haus kommen, wenn man die Tür offen lässt. Die Terrasse bietet einen wunderbaren Blick in die Berge und in die Ebene. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell am nächsten Supermarkt,Restaurants gibt es reichlich. Pisa und Lucca sind schnell erreichbar. Insgesamt also ein Urlaubsdomizil, das alles für einen gelungene Urlaub bietet.

Wundervolles Haus mit grandiosem Ausblick in fantastischer Lage! Alles perfekt!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dem unglaublich schönen und sehr gepflegtem Haus. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und äußerst angenehm und es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Die Lage ist top und die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar. Der tolle große Pool ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es hat alles perfekt gepasst! Wir haben nichts zu meckern :-) Danke!

Entspannung in Traumlage

Schon die Kommunikation und die Ankunft mit den äusserst hilfsbereiten Gastgebern war unkompliziert und entspannend. Das Haus war sehr sauber und proaktiv wurden Wechsel-Bettwäsche und -Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Blick ins Tal war unglaublich und die pure Seelen Wellness. Umgeben von zahlreichen sehenswerten mittelalterlichen Dörfer und Städten und Burgen konnte man herunterfahren und geniessen. Orte wie Lucca oder Florenz waren innerhalb kurzer Zeit erreicht. Genau wie das Meer mit seinen einladenden Bagnos. Kurz, es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub in Traumlage, den wir bestimmt wiederholen werden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Toller Aufenthalt in grandioser Gegend

Eine wunderschöne Villa mit tollem Pool und super Aussicht. Die Lage ist grandios zwischen Florenz und dem Meer gelegen in einer tollen mittelalterlichen Gegend. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind genügend im Dorf gegeben. Es war ein Top-Urlaub für uns. Einzige kleine Kritik waren die Betten - diese sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber der Gastgeber wurde informiert und kann hoffentlich die Schlafqualität etwas optimieren noch. Definitiv empfehlenswert!!

Tolles Haus mit grandioser Aussicht

Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus war super sauber, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der große Pool ist ein Traum und der Blick von der Terrasse einmalig. Pierluigi ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der uns mit wertvollen Tipps versorgt hat. Die vielen Dörfer rundherum sind einen Besuch wert, das Meer ist nicht weit und Lucca, Florenz und andere kulturelle Highlights sind alle innerhalb einer Stunde zu erreichen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!

Maison très bien située pour visiter la Toscane, placée sur les hauteurs de Montecatini. Très belle vue, piscine agréable et appréciable en été . Très bien placé pour visiter Lucques, Pise, Florence et pas si loin de la plage (40 minutes). De très bons restaurants dans les villages alentours (casorino, la baita, antiguo colle etc ...) Pierluiggi nous a très bien accueilli!
