Upon arrival, we (girlfriend, 2 teenage daughters, and I) were immediately relieved that everything looked as was pictured in the listing and were impressed with the size and layout of the unit, as the open living and dining areas combine with tall ceilings to give a very spacious feel throughout. The rear deck overlooks a lake that is stocked with countless Florida Softshell Turtles that will quickly swim in your direction in anticipation of being fed!
The unit was clean, the mattresses were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-supplied with appliances and utensils (including a washer and dryer) and the bathrooms were stocked with extra towels, blankets, and pillows. Being able to keep our van in the garage (and out of the Florida sun) was a luxury while the coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, etc. in the garage were put to good use, although I have to admit we were somewhat disappointed that only 1 of the 4 adult bicycles were in working condition. Finally, the pool area was adequate, offering a nice retreat after a day on the beach.
The unit is located in the back of Lake House Circle so noise from Beach Road was never an issue. The unit is less than 2 miles from both the Siesta Village and South Village areas and directly across the street from the Siesta Beach parking lots. There is also a trolley stop located directly across from the entrance.
All things considered, I believe Michelle offers what may be the best STR value on the entire Key!
