Great location

This rental is in a great location, The complex is old and looks a bit run down. The apartment itself is in good shape. It was very clean. Appliances are fairly new and all funcion well. The bathroom has been renovated, good water pressure and hot water works fine.Bedroom is large but the mattress is not the most comfortable. There was no T.V. in the bedroom. Living room/dining room area has a small tv and a very large dining table with a day bed in it.We were there for 18 days and would prefer a sofa over a daybed, it was not comfortable to sit and relax. The owner only provided 1 key to open the unit. This key also turns on the electricity to the unit. This is a large problem when one person leaves the unit and the other stays .2 keys should be provided. The owner provided 10 kwh/ day of electricity and we were responsible for anything over. This is fine but as soon as you leave the unit the power turns off so the place gets hot.If im paying the extra electricity when i check out then it should be up to me as to how much i want to use. The add for the unit needs to be updated.There is a washing machine but no dryer. It said 2 tv's but there is one, also it said that there was a bbq, there isn't one. Also there was mention of access to a beach club.not sure about that. All together the unit was good and will be fine for any short term vacation.

Cependant, grande déception concernant la propreté de la location : ménage non effectué ( résidus d''huile et d''aliments dans les poêles , amas de cheveux dans le lavabo,...), batterie de cuisine à remplacer, linge de maison à rajeunir, portes des éléments de la cuisine à consolider, rideau de douche à changer . En définitive, il est dommage que cet appartement agréable et bien situé, soit si mal entretenu ( voir peut-être la responsabilité de l''agence de location ?) Par contre, nous tenons à signaler la disponibilité , l''amabilité et la réactivité du propriétaire . De plus, la piscine ne fut disponible qu''une semaine en fin de séjour car l''eau n''était pas conforme ( eau verdâtre par prolifération d''algues )."

"This is nice and sunny apartment, possible to take sun on the balcony, even fan there making wind on hot days. Nice view with coco palms and swimming pool with shower right in front of the house to take early morning or late night swim, sunbeds there, for night mosquito nets on windows, fans in both rooms, lot of dishes. Everything is close: supermarket to bye food or other simple things, cheap vegetables in other place. Beach with turquise water in walking way, bus stop close, money exchange point, always possible to take taxi ot motoconcho."

El apartamento es excelen...

El apartamento es excelente y tiene mas de lo que ofrece, ya que está totalmente equipado; hasta con juegos de mesa! El balcón da a la piscina y es muy agradable. El complejo tiene panadería, supermercado y hasta restaurantes. A 5 minutos a pie de la playa y en la entrada del complejo se puede tomar un bus (guagua) para ir a otros lugares de Bávaro. El propietario es un excelente "anfitrión". Me siento muy satisfecha con mi estadía en este apartamento y sin ninguna duda lo volveré a considerar cuando regrese a Punta Cana.

"We stayed in this apartment for 14 nights in september 2011. We had a pleasant stay. The apartment is simple, clean and provides all necesities. The complex is wonderful and the location of the apartment is perfect. Close to the beach, shoppingareas etc. The view on the pool is beautiful, the airco works perfectly and the little balcony gives a possibility to have your meals outside, enjoying the sunshine and the beautiful view. The Bakery in the building is outstanding. The pool was wonderful. We had an excellent stay. I would highy recommend this apartment, especially if you are a couple, looking for a reasonably priced stay in Bavaro. The apartment is too small for more than 2 adults- that is my opinion. Two points of critism: the shower could be updated and the sofa is ready to be replaced. We are coming back in May this year and hoping to have another fantastic vacation."

Situated in the modern village El Dorado, on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, in the province of Higüey (La Altagracia), near the town of Bávaro and only 20 minutes from the international airport of Punta Cana. Los Corales de Bávaro, where the estate was built, is one the most charming location of the Dominican Republic and one of the best provided with facilities on the whole island. At a stone's throw from the beach, you can find countless bars, discos, restaurants and shops. Completely surrounded by palms, it is situated at about 300 metres from the wonderful and long fine white sand beach of Bavaro, where you can go for beautiful and relaxing walks.

The residential estate is provided with mutual green, private parking, garden with swimming pool, satellite TV and vigilance service. On the beach, a Private Club is available for all the residents, with a restaurant and bar and beach services with sunshades and beach-beds. Inside the village there is a lot of facilities to meet all requirements, including banks, public phones, chemist's, medical centre, department stores, restaurants with international and local cuisine, boutiques and pizzerias.

Private security staff, pool and private beach club with loungers and parasols free use recreation areas within the complex, nearby shopping center. Private and secured. Cafes, call shops, clubs, pubs and other entertainment day and night in surrounding areas.
