Had a fantastic family holiday at this villa, Juan the host was fantastic at solving our little problems out and giving us advice on where to visit. The view from this villa was absolutely stunning, and the amenities on offer the pool, pool table and bar football were a hit with my grandchildren plus the darts. The only only negative I would say is the road up to the villa is very windy and has to be tackled with a good bit of driving (I only say this as I had an 8 seat people carrier if you have a saloon no problem). I would highly recommend this villa to family and friends, we are also thinking of booking again in the near future. All in all a fantastic two weeks away

We spent a wonderful month here from late February. An amazing place overlooking the ocean. It had everything we needed and more. The Castillo family were lovely generous hosts.

A week in February, its a really an easy to get to spot, perfect for travelling up and down the coast. Communication was swift and clear and a big thanks to Angel opening a supermarket late on a Sunday evening

Lovely property

A great week in a family oriented villa. Well equipped. Pool is too small for an adult to swim more than a couple of strokes but a good size for young children and for the whole family to cool off. It would be nice to have some information about the local area, such as good places to eat out etc. Previous reviews have mentioned the steep approach to the property but the owner supplies excellent suggestions and details on the best way to negotiate the bends and to enter the property. Well worth the effoirt for the spectacular views and all the facilities and entertainment options included. The owner was very helpful at all times and even provided some fresh fruit from the garden. We really enjoyed our stay.

Winter Getaway

This place was just what we needed to escape the cold Canadian winter for a month. Communication was swift and easy with Estibalez who spoke English. We communicated with her father through Google translate when we had questions. The house was charming and quaint with lots of Spanish charm. We only used one of the four bedrooms and thought the bedding and towels could be updated and refreshed. We really appreciated individual room heating especially at night for the few couple of weeks as the temperature dropped when the sun went down. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. By the middle of our trip we were taking our meals outdoors to the patio to take in the marvellous views of the sea which was one of the reasons we chose this place. However, the trip up the winding road to get to those views was a little nerve wracking especially when meeting an oncoming car with no place to pass or pull over. You will need a rental car to enjoy this place, just make sure it is a smaller vehicle. You will need it to get into Almunecar for groceries and for day trips to the beaches around. It is well located for day trips to Granada, Nerja, the Caminito del Rey, Ronda and Frigiliana. All in all, this place was most enjoyable and the weather was was perfect for mid February to mid March.

Estancia muy agradable. Piscina y juegos para el relax en un entorno muy tranquilo con vistas al mar. El propietario es muy amable. Señalar que en esta zona, en general, la cobertura telefónica no es muy estable.

Eine tolle Villa mit grandiosem Ausblick über die Bucht von Almunecar. Das Haus hat sechs Klimanlagen, im Oktober haben wir die aber nicht gebraucht. Juan und seine Familie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist etwas abenteuerlich (es darf kein Gegenverkehr kommen) und ein zu großes Auto ist eher hinderlich. Dafür wohnt man schön ruhig und abgeschieden. Das WLAN hat manchmal ein paar Probleme gemacht, ist aber alles in allem kein großes Problem gewesen. Der Pool ist leider nicht sehr groß. Dafür hat es viel Spaß gemacht, Darts, Billiard und Kicker spielen zu können. Wir können einen Urlaub hier sehr empfehlen.

Wir haben neun wunderbare Tage in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. So ein gut ausgestattetes Haus hatten wir selten. Kommunikation war ebenfalls einwandfrei- sowohl im Vorfeld als auch bei Fragen vor Ort.

Toller Urlaub in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus war toll, viel Platz, alle möglichen Küchengeräte. Mit Terasse, Pool , Tischkicker und Billard waren unsere Kinder ständig draußen und beschäftigt. Die Aussicht war grandios, besonders abends.

Wunderbares Haus-perfekt ausgestattet

Wir genossen Anfang Oktober wunderbare Tage in diesem Haus. Es ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, es fehlte an nichts. Eine große Terrasse, wenn nötig überdacht, ein schöner Pool, Billard, Kicker usw. Eigentlich brauchte man gar nicht weg.

Ein toller Urlaub....

Die Finca hatte alles was das Herz begehrt und der Ausblick war wirklich jeden Morgen immer wieder fantastisch. Die Vermieter waren super nett und sehr bemüht uns alle Fragen zu beantworten und uns unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener und schöner Urlaub.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht

Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas oberhalb mit traumhafter Aussicht auf die Bucht von Almunecar. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist abenteuerlich, sehr steil. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Lediglich das Badezimmer ist sehr klein (das obere Badezimmer haben wir zu zweit nicht genutzt) und die Duschabtrennung auf der Badewanne sollte geölt werden - sehr schwergängig. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war prima und die Abwicklung war reibungslos. Der Außenbereich mit Pool ist ein Traum. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen.

Geweldig

Wij verbleven met een ander koppel voor een weekje in het huis. Het was fijn dat er van te voren een duidelijk meeting point wordt afgesproken (onderaan de berg) zodat je de eigenaar kan achtervolgen naar boven (google maps is niet heel duidelijk mede door de verbinding). De weg was even wennen maar te doen! Ontzettend mooi uitzicht, wel een klein zwembad maar prima voor 4pers om even af te koelen. Wat ook fijn was, is dat er 2 opgangen zijn. Ideaal voor 2 koppels. Je hebt een bovenverdieping met een grote slaapkamer en badkamer. Beneden 2 woonkamers (kun je van elkaar afsluiten) voor als je meer privacy wilt en de keuken + andere slaapkamers en nog een badkamer. Er is plek voor max. 2 auto’s. Veel spullen zoals handdoeken, spelkaarten, keukengerei, pannen, kaasfondue, koffieapparaat en gourmetstel is aanwezig, eigenlijk alles wat je nodig hebt! Communicatie via whatsapp op locatie was prima. Kortom heerlijke vakantie gehad, bedankt!
