That View!

We stayed in this lovely house for 10 days in early May. Perfect for our grown up family and grandchildren to join us. Clean, well-appointed and spacious with a lovely pool which we used almost every day. Great area for exploring but car essential as very steep hills and out of town. Local town has all the basics and worth travelling to both Malaga and Granada cities as both beautiful. We certainly recommend this 4 bed house.

Perfect holiday

The house is perfect: sun all day, from early morning (7:30 am in april which is very nice if you have children who wake up early;) and the sun is there until after 8pm. There is a panoramic view over the bay. The house is well maintained and has everything you need. There is the option to heat the swimming pool which we really recommend, we could swim all day with the kids. The house is a total gem, would love to go back.

Fantastic

I’ve rented a few houses around southern Europe in a similar price range and this takes the cake. Everything about the house itself is nice and works well. Kitchen well stocked, great pool, close to the city, walkable (up a hill but not that big a deal). But what makes this house above all else is the view, quiet, and privacy. One of a the few places I would consider coming back to.

Great holiday with the family

The villa was as described and the outdoors area with the swimming pool and bar is amazing and offers stunning views. There is air con in all rooms. Maybe it would have been nice to have some water in the house and a small welcome pack. There was a slight issue with insects but we dealt with it. We didn’t hire a car but walking back to the villa from town can be challenging as it is very steep, however, we never struggled to get a taxi. The town is a typical Spanish tourist town with many restaurants and shops. The beaches are ok but nothing special. Overall, we had a fantastic time.

Decepción enorme

Alquilamos la casa hace dos años y ha ido a peor. Mantenimiento cero, la piscina la limpiaron un día en 10 de estancia, los aires acondicionados tiran agua y, como consecuencia de eso a lo largo de mucho tiempo, los colchones están llenos de manchas de humedad y tienen mal olor, las hormigas campan a sus anchas por toda la vivienda y parcela,..... Lo dicho, una decepción ya que el precio (800 € más cara que hace dos años) es para tener una casa de vacaciones mantenida y mejorada año tras año. Pues no es así; no quiero pensar cómo estará dentro de otros dos años y no vamos a comprobarlo. No tenemos intención de volver.

Lovely villa with outstanding views. Good amenities, great outdoor area (especially the bar) Good communication from the owner for any queries or help. Overall would definitely recommend.

Una estancia para desconectar y disfrutar con los tuyos.

Estuvimos dos matrimonios con hijos y disfrutamos todos muchísimo. Las fotos son tal cual es la casa, sin sorpresas desagradables, todo perfecto. En general, todo perfecto. Esperamos tener la oportunidad de volver.

AMAZING VILLA

Outstanding villa.... view over the town/bay/sea are jaw dropping. Pool/terrace and bar are fabuolous. Internals of the villa are perfect for layout and size. Watch-outs would be..... Ants - not too problematic, and you can see that the owners are trying to tackle them. Air Conditioning dripped in a couple of bedrooms if on too cold for too long. The walk back up the hill from the town/beach is not for the un-fit or faint-hearted! Overall would ABSOLUTELY recommend this villa!

En dejlig feriebolig, hvor der er plads til at man kan hygge sig sammen, men også mulighed for at nyde ferien lidt for sig selv. Intet manglede i huset. Der ud over en vidunderlig udsigt.

Great family spot

The property is amazing, and has the most amazing views. Every day we woke up and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the views. The house as well laid out for a large family and has all the amenities. Everything was wonderful and well taken care of. There was a few hiccups, but they were remedied very fast. You can’t ask for a better location and it was really nice to be in smaller areas of Spain and easy to get around and navigate. The owner got back to us very fast which was appreciated . I would 100% recommend this location and House, and would come back in the future.

Wunderbare Osterzeit über dem Meer

Wir danken Bjarne herzlich für die tollen erholsamen 2 Wochen im April. Wir sind als 2 befreundete Familien mit Teenagern ( 7 Personen) gefahren. Alle waren begeistert: über die Schönheit und Ruhe des Ortes mit so wunderschönen Aussichten, das super ausgestattete helle moderne Haus, den großen sauberen beheizten Pool, Liegen und jede Menge schöne Sitzgelegenheiten draußen... So schön war es, dass wir zuerst mal ganz viel Zuhause blieben, mehrfach grillten mit dem gut funktionierenden Weber Grill und kochten. Gern und oft wurde auch der Tischkicker genutzt . Die Tischtennisplatte wurde, da oft etwas Wind war, weniger genutzt.Unsere Freunde, die sonst eher in Hotels urlauben, meinten, so schön hätten sie nie gewohnt im Urlaub und seien nun sozusagen für s Leben verdorben und wollten nur noch so urlauben. Eigentlich dürften wir das Haus gar nicht so empfehlen, da wir bestimmt einmal gerne wiederkehren würden. Der Kontakt zu Bjarne und Peter vor Ort war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Viele schöne Ausflüge sind nahebei möglich nach Frigiliana, Nerja, Salobrena, auch Almunecar selbst mit Burg und Altstadt ist schön. Malaga und Granada sind jeweils auch nur 1 Stunde entfernt. Wir könnten uns vorstellen, dass Bjarnes Haus zu jeder Jahreszeit schön ist Liebe Grüße von Familien Gärtig und Schwermann
