Perfect Aloha,

We could not have asked for a better view of the ocean, or of the sunset! We spent a lot of time on our deck relaxing and just enjoying it all. The location was so convenient to everything, and we Ervin too a paddling lesson at the club next door. Great fun! The condo was clean and well-appointed, and we will stay again if we get back to Maui.

Quiet and Peaceful

Great condo literally right on the beach. Very quiet and lowkey which we loved and right across the street from a corner store and local farmer’s market. No more than 15-30 min max away from all the big must sees on the island. Only complaint is (and maybe I read the info wrong) the laundry unit is community and on a separate floor of the unit- not inside your condo. Overall- we’d stay again!

After a busy day, it was great to be able to relax on the balcony -- watch the sunset and listen to the waves. Also nice to have the small pool available. We appreciated the setup inside the condo as well with the stocked kitchen and the arrangement of living room and bedroom.

Sugar beach condo was just right!!

The condo has everything we needed; king size bed, air conditioning, full kitchen and balcony on a swimable/walkable beach. Sugar beach is a great beach, across the street was a nice farmers market try the fresh pineapple, an ABC store, an amazing bakery ( had macaroons, puffy donuts, quiche, mango bread, etc) and a shaved ice place. The condo complex has a foot wash and this condo has beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and cooler - everything you need for a day on the beach. The pool is small but just right. Shari the property manager was very responsive when we needed her. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I enjoyed how close it was to the water & having a code to enter my room instead of a key. would've like more towels be provided, there were only two towels & they were not beach towels. Also some of the light bulbs needed to be replaced.

Could use a good cleaning

Overall the biggest plus of this stay was the proximity to the beach. You’re steps away from a wonderful beach to walk, swim, and enjoy. The condo itself could benefit from a good cleaning. There is mold in several areas, and the condo smells of mold. Not totally unexpected in a beachfront condo, but we have stayed in other condos where a greater effort was put into cleaning.

Enjoyable trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photos are spot on. The unit overlooks the water and the sunsets are amazing. There was work being done on a couple of other units but you could barely hear the remodeling work over the sound of the waves crashing into the shore. Maui is always easy to get around and this location makes it even easier. My only complaint is that we had to leave. Will use again on our next trip to Maui.

Our room was excellent value. No frills but clean and very well stocked kitchen. Communal BBQs must have been cleaned 3 times a week. Daniel and the ladies at the front desk were so helpful. We would highly recommend this resort. We will continue going back to KBR.

Beautiful Location!

Overall, our stay was good. We have stayed in many VRBO properties on the islands, and the location of this unit can't be beat! If traveling with more than two in your party, I would suggest contacting the management company for extra bedding. Only extra sheets were provided, but luckily our daughter brought a blanket. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was OUT in the entire building for a few days of our stay. Not anyone's fault but I would have appreciated a heads up, as it was scheduled maintenance! Location is a FIVE but the unit itself was a THREE - averaging it out to a FOUR STARS!

There was soft hawaiian music playing on the TV and the view of the ocean from the living space and the lanai are amazing. It was equipped beyond our expections as well and neat and clean. It was a lovely beachfront place to stay on the quieter side of town and a wonderful bakery and shave ice right across the street. No complaints, extremely happy with our stay. Will return as soon as we can!

Unpleasant Surprise with Stove/Oven and EV

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oven/Stove did not work correctly. Intermittent problems with burners and heat. Not possible to cook a meal. TV cable had intermittent issues as well. We were advised to "jiggle the wires behind the TV to get it to work. This was totally unsatisfactory. But, we were moved to another comparable unit and all was perfect. Would we recommend Unit 208? Emphatically not. It appeared the upkeep was lacking and there was very little attention to detail before renting the unit. Unit 503 (where we were moved to) was outstanding in every way. Wish we had known all this before booking. We very likely will not be back. So the first two days were dreadful. The second 8 days in a different unit were superb.
