Short family get together

The whole family enjoyed their stay at this property, especially the swimming pool. The village location is good and there is a very good local shop which sells a good range of groceries. There is also a good place to eat if required.

Gharb is an exceptionally idyllic and quiet community, the house itself is perfect for large groups, we had a memorable stay here and will definitely come again For the price, paying extra for AC feels a bit excessive. The provided high velocity fans were more than enough in most cases, but there were only two of them

Schönes Haus, schöne Umgebung auf Gozo

Das Haus liegt ruhig in einer Sackgasse mit Parkmöglichkeiten. Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind über Silvester dort. Es gibt für jeden Raum eine Klimaanlage (auch zum Heizen), deren Strom zentral über einen Automat im EG bezahlt werden muss. Insgesamt war es ein tolles Haus mit großem Wohn-/Esszimmer und angeschlossener Küche. Leider ist die Ausstattung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen - besonders auch die Liegen und der Grill draußen. Es war nicht genügend Geschirr, Besteck etc. vor Ort, welches nach einem Hinweis an die Vermieter schnell gebracht wurde. Das Haus wird über eine Organisation vermietet. Nach einem Hinweis auf alte bzw. defekte elektrische Geräte, wurden auch diese teilweise ausgetauscht. Wie auch auf den Fotos zu sehen ist, ist der Außenbereich nicht besonders groß, aber noch groß genug. Die Sauberkeit bei Einzug war nicht ok, war nach der Reinigung nach der Hälfte des Aufenthaltes aber viel besser. Insgesamt also ein schönes Haus mit älterem Inventar und leichten Mängeln. Die Aufteilung ist allerdings gerade für größere Gruppen schön. Die Agentur kümmert sich nach entsprechender Info um kleinere Dinge recht schnell. Wir waren froh, ein Haus auf Gozo zu haben, da es uns viel besser gefiel als Malta.

Amazing restful stay at Ta Majsi in L-Gharb

What a beautiful and unique property. Incredible value for money. Check in/communication was easy, as was street parking. When we requested a few items for the kitchen they were delivered right away on a Sunday!!! We loved the quiet of the village with Lighthouse grocery walking distance and a few wonderful restaurants. Salvina right next door very good for Maltese dishes/fresh fish and our last night we really enjoyed Grazie Mille. Incredible hikes right out our door the Lighthouse, Ta-Pinu stations of the cross-walk to the top you will be rewarded for your efforts, San Lawerenz and a wonderful Kempinski hotel hammam/spa 15 minute walk and craft village. The beds were very comfortable, amazing water pressure in the showers/baths and the kitchen well equipped. Lots of light switches perhaps more labelling needed. Pool a great size for laps, the water a bit brisk in November. Short drive to Victoria, historical sights and various water ports and beaches. We would have appreciated a printed detailed history of the house and village just for general interest and printed personalized recommendations, itineraries, maps etc (ie where to rent a charter boat, local hikes etc.). Of course we used the internet but got our best recommendations by asking locals in the grocery store and restaurants. Xlendi Water sports had a great 4 hour boat tour/charter fyi. The only recommendation I can make for the house is it needs some ice cube trays and espresso pot - the house only had standard drip coffee maker. If you plan on going to the beach, bring or buy your own towel as it is not permitted to remove towels from the house.

Wonderful Location, Beautiful Villa

I don't even know where to begin this review after having the most amazing holiday on Gozo! Baron Holiday Homes offer beautiful villas and incredible customer service. From the point of booking, they were incredibly responsive to any and all queries. The check in process was smooth and given to us in advance. The villa was immaculately clean and tidy. It is a beautiful building, and still boggles my mind just how spacious it was inside. The beds were comfortable with additional blankets and pillows available. Towels were provided which saved using valuable suitcase space. During our stay, there was a small issue with the water pump that was rectified very quickly and with no inconvenience to us. There is a maid service and a gardener that come one a week. All the staff members that we met were kind and professional, and great assets to the team. I have a serious case of post holiday blues and I will most definitely be staying in another Baron Holiday Home again. Thanks for an incredible holiday!

Great house w small quibbles

Lovely house with a great pool. Also loved the extra blankets and pillows provided. Only quibble we had was that there isn't sufficient hot water for everyone to shower one after the other (there were 5 of us).

Lovely house!

Beautiful house with löts of character and all amenities. Wonderful for a family getaway. Chilly in speing but each room had thick blankets which were welcome. Each bedroom was equipped with effective heaters but unfortunately not the living room. However we made a fire each night to keep the chill off rhe livingroom. This helped immensely. All in all wonderful accommodations. Would love to go in summer.

Très belle prestation dans ce village calme. L'agence a été très professionnelle et attentionnée.

Excellent stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Ta Majsi the property was perfect for our size party (6 Adults 2 Children). I would not recommend filling this villa to its maximum capacity as there is limited space around the pool area. But we found the overall stay very comfortable and the facilities were great. Pool is very clean and was cleaned prior to our visit and the day we left. Sue the property manager was very friendly and helpful she told us some great little spots to visit in Gozo which we really enjoyed. Thank you so much Sue.

Beautiful villa in a great location

My family and I stayed at this beautiful villa for the Easter break. The house is spacious and spread over 3 floors so plenty enough room to not feel on top of everyone. The house is made of limestone so keeps it cool which would be perfect for the hot summer months. It was a little cooler in April so we made use of the log fire. The villa is in a great location and is in walking distance to a beautiful vineyard.

Lovely place

We had a fantastic week with a nice house and a beutiful island, Gozo! We were two families, 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Nice and informative straff welkomed us on arrival.

Fantastic house, location and facilities

Just completed a 17 day holiday at this fabulous house and loved every minute. Highly recommend it for family holidays. Gozo is a great destination with lots to do, great restaurants and very good value all around. Gharb is a lovely village. The house itself and pool provide a wonderful holiday base.
