Appartement agréable pour une famille. Très belle plage et restaurants à 5 minutes de voiture. Les propriétaires et les voisins sont très gentilles et vous donnerons de bons conseil pour votre séjour en Sicile. Un plus parking privé dans la résidence.

Gerne wieder

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geräumig, ruhig und bietet eine phantastsche Aussicht. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist etwa 12 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Das Vermieterehepaar ist wirklich nett und hilfsbereit. Guiseppe hat uns extra wegen des kalten Wetters einen Gasofen besorgt. Auch wurden wir zwischendurch immer wieder gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Mein Fazit: gerne wieder

Charismatic retreat in Mondello

The view was amazing, the place itself had a wonderfully characteristic architectural style. One feels like a part of a charming little community, as this is a little compartment with other very friendly tenants- and cute dogs and cats too. The hosts even provided a welcome treat (fruits, water etc). All together we recommend the stay for everyone with a vehicle and the desire for a welcoming, homy and lovely retreat.

Ich erhielt schon vorab eine andere Adresse, wo ich sehr freundlich empfangen und 'um die Ecke' zum Appartement begleitet wurde. Abgeschlossener Hof mit eigenem Parkplatz. Das Appartement war sauber und mut alkem ausgestattet, was beschrieben war. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen tollen Blick über den Garten in die umliegenden Hügel und Capo Gallo. Zum Sandstrand sind es ca 2km. Man kann in der Nähe kostenlos parken (oder als Erwachsener auch zu Fuß gehen). Die Lage eignet sich als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Kultur und Baden.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in Mondello

Vielen Dank für die schönen Urlaubstage! Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Mondello. Das Apartment ist sehr schön, groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Es war alles sauber und wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich aufgenommen. Am Apartment hat uns besonders der Balkon (schmal, aber mit schönem Blick über den Garten) und die geräumige Wohnküche gefallen. Wir haben abends oft auf dem Balkon gegessen. Die Wohnung befindet sich im ersten Stock. Giuseppe und seine Frau wohnen im Erdgeschoss. Giuseppe hat uns am Ankunftstag nach Absprache vom Flughafen abgeholt. Das war sehr komfortabel, da wir nicht über Palermo mit dem Bus fahren und das Apartment selber suchen mussten. Wir wurden am Ferienhaus von seinen Hunden (2 Labrador-Retriever) und seinen vielen Katzen begrüßt. Für Tierfreunde genau das Richtige! Der Weg zum Strand und zum nächsten Supermarkt ist zu Fuß recht lang (ca. 25 min), mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto aber schnell zu erreichen. Die Bucht von Mondello ist zum Baden herrlich. Das Meer ist, trotz der Nähe zu Palermo, sehr sauber. Wer Naturstände lieber mag, kommt bei den Felsen am Monte Gallo auf seine Kosten. Der Strand dort ist über eine private Straße zu erreichen, für die man einen kleinen Wegzoll bezahlen muss (Fahrrad 1€, Roller und Autos etwas teurer). Mit dem Bus ist man in 30 min in Palermo. Von dort kann man z.B. mit dem Zug nach Cefalú fahren. (Zugfahrpläne gibts hier: http://www.trenitalia.com/) Wir empfehlen das Apartment auf jeden Fall weiter! Anja und Ben

A wonderful place

Buongiorno, We loved the apartment very much. A beautiful villa over looking the surrounding mountains and gardens. It was easily found by car, provided secured parking, well located, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Our host were very friendly and generous with information regarding Palermo. Questa vacanza e stata spettacolare...i padroni di casa sono molto disponibili per qualsiasi cosa erano presenti...l appartamento era molto carino confortevole e molto tranquillo...il signore lo cascio e sua moglia una sera si sono uniti a noi per una cena rendendosi disponibili per il trasporto e i giri nei locali di sferracavallo....cé stato messo a disposizione il gommone di famiglia alla guida del quale il signor lo cascio ci ha fatto fare un giro turistico per le coste...se dovesse ricapitare tornerei molto volentieri... cordiali saluti dorotea

Bello l'appartamento ma difficile da raggiungere

Siamo stati nell'appartamento del Sig. LOCASCIO dal 21 al 30 di luglio di quest'anno proprio nel periodo in cui a Mondello faceva un caldo mai sentito a detta dei palermitani. L'appartamento, ampio, ben tenuto, fornito di tutto quello che serve in una casa, si trova al piano terra di fabbricato molto più grande abitato dal proprietario e dai suoi familiari circondato da un bel parco con molti alberi di essenze differenti e recintato da mura. La pace, la tranquillità, il silenzio crediamo siano le caratteristiche migliori, e non di poco conto, di questa sistemazione. A disposizione degli ospiti c'è una zona solarium con sdraie tavolini sedie e barbecue. Il complesso è situato su una delle colline che circondano Mondello, in località Partanna, e fortunatamente c'è la disponibilità di parcheggio per una macchina. Come già detto nel periodo in cui siamo stati il caldo era molto e il piccolo condizionatore situato nella zona soggiorno/cucina è risultato insufficiente. Partanna è una zona sulla collina di Mondello dove sono state costruite ville, case, palazzi senza osservare piani regolatori, urbanizzazioni ecc. per cui risulta molto disordinata in particolare la viabilità. Per raggiungere l'appartamento bisogna percorrere una piccola e stretta strada che forse una volta era una mulattiera, ora asfaltata, dove a malapena passano due macchine ma poiché un lato è perennemente occupato da auto in sosta o da montagne di rifiuti, bisogna continuamente lasciare il passo a chi viene dall'altra parte. E' questo un problema perchè per arrivare al mare si impiegano più di venti minuti, impensabile raggiungerlo a piedi. Così come alla sera, una volta in casa non si esce più perchè nei dintorni non c'è niente, solo ville recintate o palazzi.

Abbiamo passato due settimane in questa casa, eravamo in coppia io e la mia fidanzata, ci siamo trovati molto bene la casa è grande e ristrutturata recentemente, eravamo senza mezzi, ma per andare al mare si ci può andare anche a piedi mentre per le grandi spese il padrone di casa è stato disponibilissimo. Appartamento luminoso, spazioso e pulito, completo di ogni confort, giardino ben curato usufruibile dagli ospiti. Massima disponibilità e gentilezza dei proprietari sempre pronti per qualsiasi esigenza. Perfetto sia per famiglia che per coppie, tenuto conto della posizione tranquilla ma vicina al centro balneare ed alla città A 10 minuti dalla spiaggia di mondello e capo gallo. Frühling im Westen Siziliens

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und ein günstiger Standort für Ausflüge im Westen Siziliens. Es gibt eine gute Busverbindung ins Zentrum vom Palermo. Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto sollte vorher genau recherchiert werden - die Straßen sind eng und nicht immer finden sich Straßenschilder.

vacanza relax a 5 stelle

Siamo stati a mondello a maggio, il tempo è stato meraviglioso, il mare bello e c'era ancora poco turismo fortunatamente. L'appartamento corrispondeva alla descrizione del proprietario e l'abbiamo trovato pulito e spazioso. Inoltre Giuseppe è stato molto disponibile nel procurarci attrezzature adeguate per il nostro bambino di un anno. Abbiamo apprezzato, essendo amanti della tranquillità e della natura, la posizione dell'appartamento: decentrato e immerso nel verde. Ancora grazie a Peppe e alla sua famiglia per la cortesia e la simpatia.

Agréable séjour à Mondello

Appartement spacieux, propre et bien équipé dans un quartier calme. Assez proche du centre de Mondello et de l'autoroute ce qui est pratique pour visiter la région (Ségeste, Erice , Cefalu...) . On peut aller à Palerme avec l'autobus , ce qui est plus rapide et plus simple ! Accueil sympathique des propriétaires !

Très agréable séjour à Mondello

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. L'accueil a été très sympathique. l'appartement a tout le confort nécessaire et se trouve dans un quartier très calme pas très loin du centre de Mondello et de la plage . On peut aller à Palerme en autobus, ce qui plus rapide et plus simple qu'en voiture !

overpriced +doesn'’t offer all what is announced

We stayed at Mondello for 2 nights at the end of our trip in Sicily. Mondello is definitely not the best place to stay in Sicily, very dirty and overpriced for what it has to offer. We do not understand why it is so well rated in some websites. However, we had chosen this accommodation based on the numerous good reviews and the criteria that would match our research like wifi, short distance to the beach, a garden with barbecue and a swimming pool. When we arrived, we were showed the accommodation and it has been made clear that Giuseppe wanted the money as quick as possible, can understand but the way to ask it put the situation a bit awkward. We highly appreciated though that his wife took us around to show us Mondello and advised some restaurants and where to go. Concerning the accommodation, it was not really clean. Lizard running out from the apartment when we opened the windows and small poops in the kitchen proved that it must be staying there for longer. The announce on the website said there was a wi-fi and a swimming pool, but actually there is was no wi-fi (Guiseppe then confirmed us that there was no signal, no way to connect) and the swimming pool was far from the accommodation and you had to pay for it. Also, the garden with barbecues was not really welcoming. Distance to the beach was round 30min by foot. Generally, we had an impression of old and not clean environment as nobody would take care. The restaurants there are quite touristic (bad service as they don’t need to serve tourists twice), we tried the restaurant Sapori Di Mare Da Giovanni Mondello… We both then had a very bad food poisoning straight after the meal. In conclusion, this accommodation was overpriced and didn’t offer all what was announced, but these criteria allow the owners to ask for more money, and we could feel that it was all what they were worried about…Not recommended!

Appartement agréable même si le jardin et excentré. La plage est à 5 min en voiture. Les propriétaires habitent l'appartement en dessous, mais sont discrets , sans oublier leurs chiens. Palerme, Cefalu, Agrigente etc sont à visiter et à proximités max 2h de voiture.

Appartement spacieux

Appartement trés spatieux, bien placé à Mondello station balnéaire à 10 min de Palerme. La plage est à 5 min. Dans la maison il y a même un petit billard et un baby-foot. Les propriétaires Michele et Giuseppe sont adorables, sans oublié leurs chiens Jacky et Cleopatra ;) Merci encore, super séjour

Allez chez Peppe à Mondello

Si vous souhaitez un accueil chaleureux, une ambiance de bord de mer dans un cadre exotique, un logement spacieux, typique et très bien tenu, si vous aimez les animaux et la proximité de plusieurs sites incontournables de la Sicile, pour des excursions inoubliables: allez chez Peppe à Mondello ! le logement peut facilement accueillir une famille de 4 voire 5. Nous y avons trouvé tout le nécessaire au confort, y compris une place de parking (un détail non négligeable). Le couple de propriétaires est très sympathique. Ils habitent sur place, et sont restés à notre entière disposition, ce qui facilite beaucoup de choses. Internet wifi. La plage de Mondello est à 5mn en voiture. L'habitation est à 10 mn à pieds du centre ville , est proche de Palerme, de l'autoroute, et des principaux grands magasins. C'est une location sans mauvaise surprise.

VACANCES A MONDELLO

Nous avons été très contents de l'accueil que nous ont réservé Giuseppe et Michelle. L'appartement très propre et très bien équipé, est idéal pour 2 voire 3 personnes; Il se trouve à 1 km de la mer. La voiture est indispensable pour se déplacer. La mer de Mondello est magnifique( sable fin, propreté de l'eau,...). A mon avis, cela ne sert à rien de visiter Palermo : il y a tout ce qu'il faut à Mondello pour passer d'agréables vacances.Nous avons été très emballés. Merci beaucoup. J'espère vous revoir un jour chez vous ou chez nous.
