Wonderful week in Paris

We really enjoyed our 1 week in this quiet, authentic Parisian apartment. The place is pretty, clean and well organized. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner, Claudine, is nice and easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again, next time we are in Paris. Thank you!

Excellent Location, Beautiful Apartment

Although not in the center of Paris, we were pleased with the ability to access two metro lines, and the quietness of the surroundings. Claudine met us with bread, croissant, cafe. She gave a very thorough tour of her home and was available for questions. Decor is beautiful. We both slept well in our rooms. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Paris 2024

Spent a wonderful week in this beautiful and very well equipped apartment at the beginning of the Olympics. Transport links were very convenient both for attending events, including at Versailles, and visiting as many attractions as we could fit in. There are also lots of interesting things to see, good shops and excellent restaurants within walking distance. Excellent communication and information from the owner at all times. Highly recommend.

European Vacation

We had an amazing time in Paris. This was made more incredible by our wonderful host and her apartment in the 13 th. This flat was spacious with everything we needed, Surrounded by great shops and restaurants. Our return home flight was delayed and she graciously allowed us to stay a few extra hours. Great experience! Would definitely return!

Wonderful Comfortable Home!

We had an excellent time in Paris and enjoyed Claudine’s comfortable apartment as our home base. From it, we were able to take the metro to all the city sights and even rode the train out to Versailles. The home is fully equipped with everything you can possibly think of. A hot soak in the deep bathtub was a welcome luxury at the end of a long day of sightseeing . Thank you Claudine for the wonderful stay! We plan on returning soon !

Claudine’s home was very comfortable and although she was not available to greet us or wish us goodbye she sent a very helpful person to let us in and lock up after our final departure. The home was well located, not too far from the various metros that we needed to use.

Excellent stay in lovely Paris apartment with communicative host & super location

Claudine's apartment is beautiful and warm in 13me with bus and metro nearby so easy access to all of Paris. She is the perfect host, open and direct and very helpful with all questions. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is excellent, living room spacious. Groceries, bakery, pharmacy all nearby. The apartment is lovely and very clean, even better than the photographs which are accurate. Our family of 3 loved coming back to the apartment after wonderful days exploring Paris. It is a true haven! We would hope to stay at Claudine's place again when next we are in Paris--highly recommend in all ways!

Charming apartment in a real Paris neighborhood

Claudine’s warm welcome helped us feel at home immediately. Together with our 14-year-old granddaughter, we got to know the diverse and friendly neighborhood, explored the Sunday morning market, found all the convenient bus and metro routes to Paris’ museums and monuments, and thoroughly loved coming back at the end of each day to a sunny, airy and beautifully furnished apartment. We could not have been more comfortable or well situated for exploring Paris. Claudine checked in with us regularly, for which we were grateful.

Well-appointed Paris Apartment

This was my second time staying here so needless to say I highly recommend this apartment. Both times I traveled with my Mom. Claudine is an excellent host. She is readily available, helpful and gracious. This spacious apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and very comfortable beds. I love the location in the 13th arrondissement. It’s a quieter and less congested neighborhood while being conveniently located near multiple metro stations and a bus route that takes you directly to some of the major tourist destinations in Paris. There are many delicious restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk and great options for grocery shopping. I also enjoyed wandering around the neighborhood looking at the incredible murals. This is an ideal place to stay for a Paris vacation!

Right at home in Paris

Madame Claudine is a kind and wonderful host. My mother and I arrived from the airport and she had breakfast waiting for us. She helped us get settled into the apartment, answered questions, and provided so much useful information. The apartment is large and Claudine has everything you need. If not, she is accessible and promptly answered all my questions. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, well-decorated and located in a quiet neighborhood while still being close (25-30 minutes by public transit) to the tourist sites. After our long days touring Paris, it was a reprieve to come back and spend time relaxing in the apartment or wandering about the 13th arr. There are several pastry shops, a grocery store, market, and wonderful restaurant all within a few minutes walk. I have only positive things to say about Claudine and her apartment and look forward to my next stay in Paris.

Madame Verdickt’s beautiful apartment with balcony, church bells soothe

Madame Verdickt’s 2-bedroom apartment on 5th floor (with balcony in living-room and larger bedroom, large kitchen with table for 4 or more persons, bathroom has shower and tub) is truly beautiful. Washing machine (for clothes) in kitchen, condensing dryer in a room in hallway. Even though the street is a busy thoroughfare in the 13th arrondissement (sirens from police and emergency vehicles), church bells from Église Notre-Dame de la Gare at Place Jeanne d'Arc provided soothing effect. Madame Verdickt has exquisite taste in furnishings, and, she is an artist. She is a thoughtful lady; she communicated with me while she was away on holiday because there are 4 small studio-apartments above her lovely home, she was concerned about noise from her upstairs neighbors. If VRBO had a 10-star rating, I would give this beautiful home 10 stars! I wish Madame Verdickt and everyone excellent health and happiness.

Great Paris Get Away

The flat was perfect for our family of four (two teenage daughters). Very clean and nicely appointed. Claudine was wonderful and met us at the apartment and immediately offered us refreshments after our trip. Even left a bottle of wine. The location is about an 8 minute walk to the metro station, and a two minute walk to the bus stop. Easy walk to Place d’Italie which has some great places to eat. We also went up Rue Jeanne d’Arc our last night and found some other great places to try. There were several Patisseries/Boulangeries within walking distance, including one steps away from the flat. A little corner market across the street made it easy to get basics. Wonderful farmers market on Sunday morning which was great to buy some fruit, but you can get fresh cheeses, meats and wines as well. It was nice being away from the crowds of downtown Paris after a long day. It was a wonderful space and Claudine was excellent to work with. Highly recommend and we would certainly return.

Fabulous! Fantastique!

Claudine’s apartment is absolutely fantastic. If you want a taste of Paris living, this is the perfect stay, from the roomy, perfectly stocked, perfectly decorated apartment to the diverse, family-friendly neighborhood. Claudine is the IDEAL hostess…she should be hired to give lessons to other VRBO homeowners. We did not get a chance to meet her due to flight difficulties (American Airlines!) but she made sure to arrange for a place for us to pick up the key at the boulangerie right next door - and included delicious croissants and bread. This cute little boulangerie became our daily (sometimes twice daily) stop for bread and pastries. Inside the apartment, Claudine had left us a bottle of French wine and champaign to help us celebrate our 20th anniversary. The apartment was spotless and comfortable and very quiet. The neighborhood itself is bustling with people from all walks of life but was such a respite from our visits to some of the famous, tourist-packed sites in Paris. We had more fun just exploring the 13th arrondissement than we did on our tour-type days. There are numerous, very good, bistros, bars and restaurants within walking distance and Claudine made sure to leave us her recommendations (Chez Trassoudaine was our favorite!). For those places we didn’t want to walk to, the Nationale metro station is very close and easy to navigate - the whole transportation system in Paris seems great. This was our second visit to Paris, 20 years apart, and it was, by far, our favorite stay. Hopefully when we return Claudine will still be a VRBO homeowner. It was such a lovely experience!

Super appartement

Nous étions un groupe de quatre amis qui ont passé un séjour de deux semaines dans ce superbe appartement du 14e arrondissement. L’endroit est magnifiquement décoré, très spacieux avec toutes les commodité nécessaires et plus encore. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits confortables et que dire de l’accueil de Claudine qui nous reçu chaleureusement et à été prompte à répondre à chacune de nos questions. Nous avons adoré le quartier très paisible le soir avec ses magnifiques murales. Vous pourriez difficilement trouvé mieux que ce magnifique endroit.

Perfect Paris apartment

Great apartment

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, and our stay was great. The listing has 1 and 1/2 baths but there is only 1 bathroom, but it was no problem. The location is perfect, close to transportation, supermarket, bakeries and restaurants plus a great Sunday market around the corner. Three of us shared the apt ages 76, 77 and 79 yrs. Would love to stay there again Jeanne

Great non tourist quiet location. Short walk to metro. Wonderful market on Sunday. The apartment has everything you need and then some. The couch can be made into a very comfortable bed. This is a large apartment for Paris and great value. Will return!

Claudine hat uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und uns gute Tipps für die nähere Umgebung gegeben. Ihr Apartment ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Tag in Ruhe zu starten und Paris zu erkunden. Man ist sehr gut an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angebunden. In der näheren Umgebung finden sich eine leckere Bäckerei, ein Supermarkt und ein paar gute Restaurants.

Einfach eine tolle Zeit

Die Wohnung war einfach toll, wir hatten ausreichend Platz zu viert und es war alles da, was man braucht. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkerhsmittel war super, man kommt schnell zu verschiedenen Metrostationen und dann überall hin in Paris. Aber auch fußläufig ist die Stadt von dort gut zu erkunden. Kleinere und größere Supermärkte, Bäckereien und Obststände befinden sich alle gleich vor der Tür. Die Vermieterin ist super freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und wir konnten Sie jederzeit anschreiben bei Fragen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort.

Perfect family spot

The property was beautiful, comfortable, quiet, functional. Had everything we needed to feel like we were visiting a friends home rather than staying in the typical half equipped rental. Claudine was gracious dealing with my communication issues (cell not working), my accidentally locking myself out, and just genuinely helped us to relax and feel at home. The apartment is a little farther out from the center of things than I realized but is close to two metro lines and a few buses that made it really easy to get wherever we wanted to be. I highly recommend this place.

Un endroit sensationnel!

Cet appartement est un bijou! Notre séjour ayant duré trois semaines, nous avons grandement apprécié cet endroit très confortable, lumineux, spacieux et idéalement situé dans un chouette quartier. Et que dire de l’accueil très chaleureux de Claudine! La cuisine est très bien équipée, ce qui nous a réjouis car nous avons eu le bonheur de profiter du superbe marché de proximité à 150 m et des petits commerces en allant vers Tolbiac. Avec deux stations de métro toutes proches et un arrêt de bus à deux coins de rue, se déplacer a été très facile. Une location exceptionnelle!
