This apartment is in a wonderful location, walking distance to several good restaurants, metro, and attractions. The apartment was very clean. The shower was great. It was nice to have a washing machine and the kitchen had a nice coffee machine. Paul was a good host, meeting us at the apartment to explain things. Also, there is a small lift if needed for baggage.

The second bed is a Murphy bed in the living room. Good just to know. Location is fabulous to get to everything you want to see and transportation.

Perfect size apartment for two. Located close to Metro, busses, Seine, shopping and cafes. There are a few stairs so guests with mobility issues could have difficulties. Paul is a nice host and very receptive to questions.

We took our two teenagers to experience Paris for the first (but not last!) time and Paul greeted us at his lovely, centrally-located flat in the Marais. We were able to easily see so many spectacular sights (Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, even a croissant-making class...) with this wonderful "home base". We could not recommend staying here more highly and look forward to going back!

Host communicated well. There was no air conditioning as stated and unfortunately only one small fan that we had to move from room to room. Paris experienced unusually high temperatures, 35 degrees above normal. So having no A/C and one small fan did little to make us comfortable. Also the small kitchen had no towels (cloth or paper). Very inconvenient. There was no ice tray so we had to buy our own ice. The furniture in the living area was old and uncomfortable and the bed lacked more typical pillows.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that the unusually high temperatures during your stay made things less comfortable. However, there is indeed an air conditioning unit in the bedroom, and it is quite visible. A simple message on the first day, or even right when you arrived, would have been enough for me to explain how to turn it on, and I would have gladly helped you immediately. Regarding the kitchen supplies, this is actually the first complaint I have received about towels or ice trays, as previous guests have always found the apartment properly equipped. I still appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration to improve the experience further. Thank you again for your stay.

Location, location location!The apartment is superbly located in one of the nicest parts of Paris, and so convenient for hitting the sights.We were met on arrival and given a quick guide to the apartment, especially around using the drop down bed.It can be quite hard to find such accommodation in central Paris that sleeps 4 adults, and with the bed in the living room down for our stay, it was a little tight but still completely functional.A lift as well for bringing up our cases was a nice addition.Close to supermarkets and patisseries meant it was easy to grab fresh items daily. Very handy indeed.Would be very comfortable for a couple, but we had a lovely time as a family of 4 adults.Would stay here again most definitely.

There are three important things to know about this option. First, it is in the absolute best location I’ve ever had in Paris— it’s a charming neighborhood, quiet, and super well located! I’ve stayed in the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, the first, and this is by far the best. You can walk pretty much anywhere and there’s two very convenient metro stations that connect you as well. Second, you need to know that there is no air-conditioning. That’s not uncommon in Paris, however, if you have a baby or you are older, I would say look for accommodations elsewhere in summer. We were given three fans, one did not work, and we used them all the time. To be fair, we were staying during a heat wave, but we could not get any respite in our lodging, so we had to find other places to go to rest and be cool. Finally, It’s small and the perfect size for two people OK for three and a stretch for four. There’s limited cooking pans, so really you’re gonna rely on the microwave even though there is an induction stove top. There was no information about how to run the induction stove top or the washing machine. However, in those cases, Google was our friend. We ran out of some basic necessities which I thought was odd considering we were staying for a week with four. I went down and bought paper towels and trash bags. Even with these caveats, it’s still a beautiful apartment and I would recommend it without hesitation to two people traveling in the spring winter or Fall

I had a wonderful week in Paris with my adult children. Paul, the proprietor, met us at the apartment (despite a 2 hr flight delay on our part) and showed us all of its' features. The apartment is a wonderful mix of modern and traditional components. The location is perfect--steps down a pedestrian walkway to the #1 metro St Paul stop which serves most tourist attractions (Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysses, Arc du Triumph). A second stop (Ponte Marie, metro 7) is a 10 min walk. We walked to Notre Dame and the Shakespeare Company in 15 min.

The place was very clean and was a great location for shops, restaurants and metro. Paul was a great host and was very helpful and prompt in answering all my questions. The place is small but perfect for 2 people. I would have liked some instructions for the coffee makers but many shops close by. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to stay in Paris.

Wonderful location on a quiet street near the Metro. The apartment was clean and convenient. Paul helped us secure a taxi driver and was there to greet us.The restaurant beneath us did stay noisy until after midnight on Saturday….only drawback.

Perfect location

We had a great stay, the apartment location was convenient to the metro and most sites by foot. There were many restaurants and stores in the neighborhood. Paul was very accommodating to dropping off luggage prior to check-in and responsive to all questions prior to stay. We'd definitely stay here again.
