The rental was great. We had a good time during our family reunion there. There were enough sheets and blankets for all the beds, even in the loft. We loved the amount of spices and utensils in the cupboards.

Stayed here (and another house owned by the same family) for our family reunion. This was one of the nicest rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Clean, nice, beautiful backyard, everything that’s needed. Also, definitely the best stocked house ever! Often times owners try to skimp or have trashed items and cheap (or no) TP and everything. But these homes were amazing. Their care really shows and everyone in my family noticed and appreciated it. Would definitely rent again!!

Great place for a family reunion. We had 8 families and had lots of room to spread out. Yard is very large and kitchen is well stocked. Lots of room/mattresses in the bunk room. Loys of parking space and good location. Host was very responsive, would highly recommend!

It was nice being able to check in a little bit early and at the end of the trip someone to run by quick to pick up a laptop that was forgotten before the next guests arrived.The text description stated that there were a ton of mini mattresses in the loft but the picture showed about 10. Seeing how big the walk in closets were or how all the rooms were connected was tricky to see from just the website. I'm not sure how much the inclusion of a floor plan pic would have helped, but exploring the place we got it figured out pretty soon after we arrived.It was very nice working with them and a great city and neighborhood: 5 stars!

Perfect for our family reunion!

We rented this property for a family reunion, and were so pleased! Plenty of spaces to suit our needs. We especially loved the huge, open yard. Two kitchens, comfortable beds. We had a wonderful time!

The property was beautiful. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and rooms. Ellen was so helpful and responsive. We had 7 families staying and it was perfect. The outdoor space really was amazing. Our reunion was a huge success largely in part to how perfect the house and grounds were for us.

Our talented parents and siblings built this beautiful custom cabin, combining craftsmanship and attention to details with luxe finishes. We grew up building and working alongside our parents and family members in their successful contracting and masonry businesses. We hope you enjoy the workmanship of this beautiful custom home.

Our mom, Ellen Maynes, owns and manages The Gathering Place, which is next door to the Heber C. It is equally as large and comfortable as the Heber C. Some groups rent both homes for the ease of coordinating their group's needs. Ellen has been a VRBO 5-star premier host for many years. Guests love her customer service and attention to their needs! She is available to help with any concerns that may arise, as she is a co-host for this property.
