The best feature of this property is it's location just steps from the beach, a few more steps to Jake's, and an easy 10-min walk to the center of town. In addition, the host was very responsive, met us to let us in, and answered all my questions about what to do in the area. The top unit, where we stayed, has a small view of the ocean and lots of light. The street in front is very quiet, and we enjoyed watching the surfers park each morning.
However, it is smaller than it appears (aren't they all?), but we fit in five adults and a dog just fine. The decor is definitely more seaside shabby chic than urban sleek. The plumbing and fixtures seem to be original to this sixties-era (i'm guessing) unit, but they mostly worked fine. The shower has great water pressure! Once we found the softer pillows, space heaters, etc., we were happier. It is a nice, laid-back cozy place, good for pets and kids, and the only way the location could have been better is to be right on the beach, an option we could not find.
