We really enjoyed our stay, especially the location right on the lake. The setting is beautiful and was definitely the highlight of the property. The cabin itself is comfortable, although the decor and furnishings feel somewhat dated. One thing I wanted to reiterate for future guests is the sleeping layout, since it’s helpful to understand exactly how the rooms are configured. On the main level, there is one bedroom with a queen bed. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a king bed, along with a loft that has two twin beds. The loft is accessed by a ladder, so families may want to consider the age and comfort level of their children when deciding who will sleep there. Our kids were a little too nervous about the loft to sleep there, which was simply a matter of their age and comfort level and not anything the hosts could control. It’s just something worth keeping in mind, particularly since getting down from the loft in the middle of the night requires using the ladder. The basement has a smaller bedroom with two twin beds, which worked well as another sleeping option.Overall, we had a nice stay, communication with the host was good, and we really appreciated the beautiful lake setting and location.
