ドルフィーニュ中心部の16世紀の美しい町サルラから8 km（5マイル）の所にある、L'Homondの集まりにある素敵な一戸建て住宅、 'Coffee With Susan'。 ドルドーニュ渓谷で最も魅力的なスポットの多くは、車で20〜30分のドライブ、または自転車で簡単に移動できます。 家の特徴：オープンプラン＆風通しの良い1階のデイルーム、設備の整ったキッチン（電子レンジ、冷蔵庫冷凍庫、コンロ＆オーブン、食器洗い機）＆ダイニングエリア（10席の農家のテーブル付）。 4つの大きなダブルベッドルーム。ウォークインドレッシングルーム＆専用トイレ＆シャワー／バス。 テレビ、DVDプレーヤー、Hi-Fi、Wi-Fiインターネット回線が備わる、広い2階にあるラウンジ。 床下暖房＆薪バーナー。

Great family holiday house

Lovely home, lovely area!

We loved the pool and the house had everything we needed and some. The seating in the house was very comfortable, though we barely used them as we were lucky to enjoy a sunny week. We appreciated the full size cot and high chair for our grandson.. Everything seems well planned to We would have happily stayed an extra week.

Sue and Paul are amazingly nice hosts and very reactive. Their house is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, there is everything you need and the pool is a nice big size pool! The area is beautiful and so much to do! Don't hesitate one minute ! Natalia and family

Perfect base camp for Perigord region

Coffee with Susan was a great place for our one week vacation to the Perigord region. The house was comfortable enough with plenty of beds and baths for our 5 women group. Each day we drove out to the sights we had chosen and were grateful for the pool at the end of the day. Susan’s instructions to the small village where the house was located was spot on.

Relaxing holiday

Wonderful 2 weeks in this super spacious and comfortable house. Located in a tiny hamlet with no street lights you can sit outside enjoying peace, a glass of wine and star gaze! The pool is amazing and a must when it gets hot. Lots of touristy things to do in the area or stay at home and relax. We were a family of 3 generations and everybody had a wonderful time.

Wonderful

We had a great holiday here - the location is perfect. Very peaceful but close enough to amenities and all major attractions. The house is very well equipped and spacious. The pool/terrace was ideal for kids and adults. Communication from the host was excellent both before and during our stay. It was the perfect holiday for us and we would not hesitate to recommend this house to others. Thank you for having us!

"Coffee with Susan"

A wonderful three week stay - including the mid-July heatwave of 2022 Close enough to Sarlat and all the wonderful attractions of the Dordogne, yet tucked away in a tiny hamlet that makes you feel as un-touristy and part of the countryside as you could wish. We were a family group, three couples and a grandson. It's hard to imagine it being more perfect.

Perfect for Families

There were 6 of us (4 adults, 2 teenagers) for one week. Being familiar with the Dordogne area, we knew we wanted to stay a bit off the beaten path, but still be near all the wonderful attractions the area has to offer. We also knew that we needed sufficient space for everybody to have some 'alone time', but also bring the family together. The house fit the bill perfectly! With a well-eqipped kitchen, separate bathrooms, a pool, table tennis, and a delightful patio we were able to cook, play games and relax after busy days sightseeing. Absolutely loved visiting Sarlat (repeatedly) as well as Carlux (great restaurant and bakery). The listing was accurate, the property clean and well-maintained and Sue provided fabulous customer service---I can recommend this property without hesitation.

Fabulous house in a great location

House has everything you need -4 bedrooms all en-suite, well-equipped living space and all the mod cons needed in the kitchen. Outdoor space is fabulous - plenty garden space, multiple dining areas and shade. The pool is perfect and there is table tennis and darts too. 15 min drive to Sarlat and there are views all around with plenty activities to do. We visited gardens and chateaus, kayaked on the Dordogne, hired bikes on fantastic cycle paths and swam at the local plan d’eau at Grolejac. This was accompanied by many lovely meals after visiting local markets/late night shopping in Sarlat or trips to other beautiful towns such as Montfort and Domme. Pizza after Pirate mini-golf was also great fun. Many happy memories. Great comms from Sue - thanks again for a lovely holiday. Highly recommend!

Superb Accommodation in Tranquil Location

The accommodation, with 4 ensuite bedrooms, and a wonderfully private pool in a sunny garden was perfect for our family. The location was really good; just far enough outside the main tourist spots to be tranquil, but some local shops and good restaurants within a short drive, (or even walk), and the main tourist spots and activities such as cycle hire and walking trails, canoeing, etc all within easy reach. The range of equipment provided, from towels, linen, catering and cooking utensils, dishwasher, washing machine, an outdoor plancha, linen and towels, table tennis, dart board etc was extensive. We've stoped in many properties in France and USA and we literally wanted for nothing here. It was equipped like a home from home. The communication by the hosts was second to none; they kept in touch throughout our stay. We have visited the Dordogne many times over the past 30 years and this is the best accommodation we have experienced. We would recommend it without hesitation and it will be our first and only choice on our next visit.

Un merveilleux séjour. La maison, très propre, est magnifique, très bien équipée avec des lits d'excellente qualité. Une très belle piscine qui a été très appréciée par fortes chaleurs. Le hameau où se trouve la maison est typique de la région avec ses constructions en pierre couleur miel. Enfin, Susan nous a parfaitement expliqué les modalités d'arrivée et de départ.Si nous revenons dans la région, c'est ici que nous reviendrons sans hésiter! Merci

Problème avec l'annonce et le ménage

La maison est très belle et très bien localisé, nous avons malheureusement eu quelques problèmes, à notre arriver, les lits n'étaient pas fait il manquait un certain nombre de produit ménager ( papier toilette, éponge...) La maison était assez poussiéreuse mais globalement propre. Et sur l'annonce il était indiqué que nous pouvions utilisé la piscine mais la propriétaire a fait l'hivernage 24h avant notre arrivé sans nous en avoir informer... Sachant que l'hivernage devrait se faire à 15 degrés ou moins et il faisait entre 27 et 31 degrés...

Maison agréable et bien située

Nous avons passé globalement un bon séjour. Les propriétaires sont joignables facilement et attentifs au confort de leurs locataires. L'emplacement est très intéressant pour visiter la région. La maison est propre et agréable, bien équipée, et dispose d'un espace nuit idéal pour des familles nombreuses . L'intendance est assurée par un voisin très disponible et à l'écoute des vacanciers pour résoudre les éventuels soucis rencontrés (nous concernant : machine à laver remplacée, chasse d'eau d'un toilette remplacée, WiFi rechargé, ..). Quelques points négatifs cependant en toute objectivité : la route traversant le village est à proximité immédiate de la piscine (et de la maison). Elle est très fréquentée pendant la période d'été (voitures, tracteurs, camions, motos,..). Le parking est trop juste (deux voitures moyennes max) et situé dans un tournant, rendant les entrées et sorties complexes et risquées. Enfin, gros point noir : le WIFI proposé est bien trop juste (airbox avec 72 megabits/seconde), et la 4G ne passe pas dans le coin. Une suggestion : prévoir une cafetière électrique plus pratique que la cafetière Melior proposée. Nous avons par ailleurs subi deux phénomènes pour lesquels les propriétaires n'y sont pour rien : la météo catastrophique et des travaux d'isolation extérieure de la.maison voisine, effectués du matin au soir tard pendant notre séjour.

Peaceful and so relaxing

The house is beautiful and situated in a lovely quiet Hamlet. The swimming pool is amazing and perfect for our competitive family swimming races! The gardens are so well kept. It was a difficult decision whether or not to go away this year but I am so pleased we did! Great communication with Paul and Susan. Very much hope to go back in the future to continue exploring this wonderful area of France

Interieur de la maison Tres fonctionnel et bien agencé. Avec des animaux l exterieur devrait être plus enclos. La piscine suffisamment grande est très appréciée. Le séjour s est très bien passé.

Clean, spacious, comfortable and in an excellent location to explore the Dordogne Valley.

Susan and Paul’s property is situated in a beautiful Hamlet near Sarlat. It’s peaceful, well maintained and a wonderful base from which to explore all the Medieval towns throughout the Dordogne. Susan was always responsive and helpful. Our children used the pool every morning and evening and enjoyed every moment. The neighbours are also very kind and helpful. In fact, on our arrival we were having some trouble finding the exact house and a neighbour quickly recognized we needed some help. We mentioned Susan’s name and she immediately got in her own car and guided us to the property. We were only 2 minutes away. We loved it.

Great holiday home

We had a lovely stay at coffee with Susan. The house is perfect especially for 2 families staying together. Separate ensuite bathrooms means that each family has their privacy. We stayed with two teenagers, one 5 year old and one 2 year old. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a holiday. The two outside tables mean that there is always somewhere shady to sit. The pool is a good size for just 8 people. The gite is brilliantly located near Sarlat and close enough to the main road to make going to the supermarket a quick visit. The boulangerie in Carlux is easy to get to in the mornings. Sue provided lots of detailed information on the local area, places to visit and recommended restaurants. Many thanks
