Bright Studio loft

I stayed in this lovely apartment for a month while I was working in Paris. Laurence was a wonderful host and quick to respond to any requests or questions . The apartment was bright and a good size . The stairs to the loft bedroom are narrow and steep but I had no problems. The apartment is very well located near metro stations , restaurants and St Martin Canal. One note there is no washing machine but there are several laundromats nearby that were okay as far as laundromats go.

Good location, nice host, uncomfortable and questionable cleanliness

Overall the apartment served it’s purpose and is in a great location. Check in process was a little bit complicated, requiring us to visit a store up the road and ask for someone who was not the host to let us in. That being said, the host was very responsive over text and the other person was helpful. The sleeping arrangements are very uncomfortable with only a very thin and cheap mattress in the loft, and an extremely hard futon. We did not sleep well and felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The apartment has very poor ventilation and towels, blankets, and pillows all felt moist to the touch. This could be attributed to the weather as it was very rainy and humid during our stay. Cleanliness is another factor, it wasn’t that bad but there was long black hairs on the pillows and some of the blankets presumably from the owner or previous guests. Far from my favourite VRBO experience, i hate to be critical because the host was very nice but i would recommend they make some upgrades.

Bonjour, c'est la première fois que j'ai cette critique et j'en suis désolée. Je loue depuis un an ce studio et j'ai en général de très bonnes appréciations. L'humidité des draps était peut être lié au temps pluvieux en effet et j'ai d'ailleurs remis le chauffage le deuxième jour pour cette raison. Pour les poils dont vous parlez, je ne comprends pas car il n'ya jamais eu d'animaux et c'est moi-même qui ai lavé les draps et fait les lits. En ce qui concerne le matelas sur la mezzanine, tout le monde le trouve très confortable et en bas, c'est en effet un canapé lit. Je pense que mon descriptif est très clair et ne parle pas d'appartement de luxe.

Séjour sympa

Notre séjour s'est bien déroulé. Le logement est fonctionnel, propre, en retrait de la rue et très bien situé à 2 pas du canal st martin. A conseiller.

Perfect for a week-end with children

The flat was perfect for a prolonged week-end with young children which could sleep on the folding couch. As an adult I would not consider that couch too comfortable for a longer stay. The small kitchen is very well fitted and nothing is missing. The location at the Canal Saint-Martin is very beautiful. Lots of shops nearby. The landlord is very friendly and takes care about her guests.

Great location, well-equipped

The place is well situated - just 10 minutes walk from Gare de l'Est and not far from Place de la Republique. We stayed as a family of four and had enough space for everyone.

Superbe appartement pour une famille de quatre.

Nous avons été charmé par ce petit appartement en plein coeur de paris. À 10 min de marche de la gare de l'est et 20 min de place de la république, il est idéalement situé pour vivre comme un parisien. À noter qu'il y a deux épiceries sur la rue et que l'appartement est presque situé à mi-chemin entre les deux. Un merci spécial à Laurence et ses amies Joëlle et Thérèse qui ont sû nous accueillir pour qu'on se sente à la maison. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir lors d'un prochain séjour à Paris.

Very Clean, Great Location, Awesome Host!!

My family (myself, my husband and our two kids ages 11 and 14) stayed for two weeks in this home. It was perfect. It has all of the essentials needed for the stay. It has pots, pans, stove top, towels, sheets, wine glasses,iron, and the list continues. There isn't a laundry on site but the laundromat is literally across the street and around the corner. Very easy to use and convenient. The location could not have been anymore convenient. It is located near all the trains and buses needed to visit and explore all of Paris. The local restaurants and bars are amazing. It felt like it was our home. We met great people during our stay and it was difficult to leave. The host was very kind and sweet. It was unusually hot when we arrived and she went out and bought us a fan which was wonderful. I highly recommend this flat!!! My kids were happy and we didn't feel on top of each other. It was excellent. We would definitely return.

We had a great time, my grand children loved the little ladder steps to go in their sleeping arrang.

Great location, walking distance from Est train station. ( you don’t have to go on the steps bridge tout cross) There is another walking bridge a little farther ahead. littles cafes and great Boulangerie near by.. Metro station 5 get you every where you want to visit. Quiet place and comfortable beds. Small but enough for 2 adults and two children. Owner laurence made it easy for us to enjoy our stay .

Nice Stay in a Nice Part of Paris!

The owners were very accommodating and helpful. We decided not to use the bed in the loft because of the steep, rail-less stairs and low ceiling up there --- but found the main floor spacious and the futon bed comfortable. The apartment was well appointed with kitchenware and other essentials. Overall, a great experience.

Our week stay at Laurence's studio was perfect for what we needed. The studio was comfortable and had all the necessary equipment and more besides. Laurence was a very gracious and informative host. Un quartier à découvrir

Charmant studio dans un quartier sympathique. Le studio est original, bien éclairé et contient tous les équipements nécessaires. Plusieurs cafés et autres commerces. Plusieurs possibilités de promenades (à pied, à bicyclette) sur les bords du Canal St-Martin. Les autres quartiers sont accessibles à pied ou via le métro et l'autobus. Bref, un séjour fort agréable.

Great place to stay in Paris

Cosy studio with all the things you need in a very friendly neighbourhood. Laurence was very good in the communication. Everything was clean. The only tiny thing was that you can hear the upper neighbors (with small kids) sometimes.

Splendide !

Comme décrit et présenté, le Studio est idéalement situé dans Paris, pour qui veut en voir le plus possible,dans un très joli quartier offrant toutes les commodités (supérette, boulangerie etc..) dans la proximité immédiate. L’état de la location et l'entretient sont irréprochables. Et pour couronner le tout, l'extrême gentillesse et la totale disponibilité de la propriétaire pour ses locataires. Je recommande vivement cette location et espère sincèrement qu'elle sera disponible lors de mon prochain séjour a Paris, je ne regarderai pas ailleurs.

Description de la location et sa situation : The full Five stars (Toutes les cinq étoiles) État de la location et entretient : The full Five stars (Toutes les cinq étoiles) La propriétaire : Mme de Villeneuve....the icing on the cake ( pour parfaire le parfait) La recommanderais-je ? bien plus..je serais déçu de ne pas y loger lors de ma prochaine visite a Paris..... Le quartier tout autour est très joli et offrant toutes les commodités, Et ce n’était pas encore la belle saison.......!!!!
