Great condo!

Pictures don’t do this condo justice! It was very spacious for our family of 6 and it’s open concept was perfect for meals, gaming, and making memories. Condo overlooks the pool for easy access and fun!

Great times on South Island

We traveled for my son's senior spring break, 6 of us total. The condo was large, spacious and comfortable for all of us. The grounds were beautifully kept and the pool and hot tub were perfect. The only cons is if you want to go closer to Times Square on FMB, it can take up to 1 hour to go 4 miles during busy times of the day. No fault of the condo, just a note depending on what you want to do. All the codes for the front door, the condo door, the pool gate, to get both in and out, were a bit much and the system could probably be updated for more ease. Then a hard key for the pool bathroom and another key for the storage area for beach items. Lastly we were given one garbage bag for the week? So I had to purchase more along with more toilet paper. All in all our stay was great!

Perfect location!!

We loved our condo! Comfortable beds, clean! Close to the beach, and ice cream and restaurants! And close to 7-Eleven for the 14 year olds! Pool and hottub were awesome! (Except for the pool lady who watched for people to be OUT at sunset!) A great time was had by all! Thank you!

Great location!

This condo was beautiful and very large. We are a family of 4 with 2 little girls - 4 yo and 6 yo - and we had way more room than we needed. The condo has a very big dining and living area, a HUGE master bathroom and master bedroom, large kitchen, another decent sized bathroom, a laundry room and 2 other bedrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked, we had everything we needed to mostly make our own meals for a week. In addition there were beach chairs, sand toys, a sand wagon, pool noodles - everything you need to enjoy the beach with kids. There is a small strip mall 0.2 miles away - easy walking distance - with a cute ice cream shoppe and some other bar/restaurants and also a CVS another block away. This unit overlooks the pool and the lanai is completely screened in and very lovely. The beach is easily accessed, about a block away. The only downside is the construction on the road in front of the condo development, which made driving and walking a little more treacherous, and was very loud during the day, but hopefully this is done by the next time we visit!

Great spot - great location

|Our third year here - love the location - the unit is fantastic. Walking distance to the beach - restaurants - bars. Get your groceries and park your car. The traffic can be heavy.

Ft. Myers Beach Getaway

Initial impression was positive when we arrived as the unit appeared to be very clean & comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware for dining in, the living area was attractive & comfortable, and the storage shed with chairs, umbrella and moving cart was very convenient for going to the beach. Unfortunately, upon arrival (and after 24 hrs. driving in the car), we discovered that the shower in the smaller bathroom did not work. I called Property Management right away on that first day (Saturday) to request maintenance, but no one showed up until Monday. And when he did, he advised he was only there to confirm the shower didn't work, he was not there to repair it. The shower was not repaired during our stay, and we had to coordinate using the master bathroom shower for five people all week long. With showers needed multiple times per day for everyone to clean off the sand & salt water and lotions.....this was very disrupting! Daily calls to property management resulted in promises to get "ownership's permission" to make repairs and to provide feedback to me......but neither happened. Property Management did not call back with updates and apparently approval from ownership to repair the shower was not received, as the shower was never repaired. One additional issue that dampened the vacation was the fact that there was no "extra" roll of toilet paper for either bathroom. Normal etiquette with any other locations and/or hotels is to have at least one extra roll for emergencies. A trip looking for an open store on Christmas Day morning to buy toilet paper is not something we will fondly remember. On our last day....the A/C decided not to work properly. We called Property Management and a repair person was dispatched in the afternoon and he was able to make a temporary repair to get it working. Hopefully it has been repaired completely for the next guests. As an added note.....if we had not had the problems as listed above, we would have been able to give this property a 5-Star rating. But, due to poor response & follow-up from Property Management and/or no apparent response from the Owner, regretfully we can only give a 2-Star rating.

Enjoyed 3 weeks here.....would come back next winter but the pool is not heated !! It technically uses a heat pump but does not do an adequate job of heating the water....so...it is advertised as having a heated pool but it sure won’t feel like it !!

Outstanding!

This is a lovely condo. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. Very spacious and well laid out. We stayed with my daughter and grandkids, and we never felt cramped. We ate in most of the time, and we were impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was. The balcony overlooks the pool, but you are shielded by palm trees so it is very private. A quiet beach is just across the street (marked private for "EBIA residents and guests" - Bella Lafo is part of EBIA.) There is a Publix about 5 minutes drive. You can take the trolley to Times Square, where there is a busy beach with lots of action. We ate at Nervous Nellies - charming restaurant on the water. We loved our vacation in this unit.

Fun Vacation, great accommodations.

This was a pleasant surprise. We booked it on-line and pictures can sometimes be deceiving but not this one. It is located on the second floor with a lanai overlooking the pool. The palm trees provided shade and privacy from the pool area. It is spacious and well equipped in the kitchen. Beach access is directly across the street and trolley stop is nearby. Our only complaint was the internet, very slow!
