Great hideaway

Close to ski area, close to town. But had a rural/secluded feel to it. Perfect for a couple & dog friendly. Kitchen well equipped.

It was very clean and very cute. There were labels on all light switches which was very helpful. It was the perfect balance between secluded and close to activities. The hosts were wonderful and kind

Love this place!

This was the perfect place to stay for our ski week. It’s a cute cabin in the woods with an easy 20 minute drive up the mountain. Loved having access to a washer and dryer to allow for less packing. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect for our needs

The place was very clean (which we appreciated) and suited our needs perfectly. While it looks rustic on the outside, the inside is clean and updated.

Cozy Cabin

This was a perfect place for the 2 of us! The cabin was modern, cozy and stocked with everything we needed. We were only a few miles from the downtown area and close to nearby shopping if we needed anything. The owners were great to work with. We highly recommend this place.

Our favorite cabin in the woods

This is our second Christmas spent at this property. We absolutely love staying here. It’s so nice to be able to cook, have space to move around, and pack light since we have access to laundry facilities. The owner is responsive when I have a question, and the property is so cozy. We will definitely be back!

Great location

Picked this place for the location and for our dogs. Quiet and shady backyard perfect for leaving our dogs while taking our kids to Silverwood. This place had everything we needed. The only downside is that it was a very hot week and no AC so hot in the evenings.

Perfect place

We had a perfect weekend stay. The house was clean and comfy. It had a pretty view from the deck. We woke up to deer in the yard. The house had everything we needed for a weekend of soccer away from home.

Wonderful!!! We enjoyed our week at the private upstairs unit. It had everything we needed. The decor was modern and everything was clean. Seeing the wild turkeys and deer from the deck were a highlight. We didn’t know it but being in the woods looking out at a meadow was just what we needed. Highly recommend staying here!!

Rachel's property was clean, as described, and very well stocked! There were even some olive oil and a large selection of spices for a cast iron dinner I prepared on the Weber BBQ on the front deck. The property was very quiet (except for an occasional train almost a mile away) and perfect for my dog. The best part was it was only a 20-minute drive to Schweitzer Mountain Resort (where I skied both days) and only 8 minutes into the heart of downtown. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Rachel!

Sandpoint vacation getaway

This was our second time staying here.. love the location close to town /shopping and the marina. We brought our boat and spent most days fishing on the lake so having the garage to park our boat inside at night was a huge bonus. The cabin was perfect for the two of us… it had everything we needed for cooking. Easy communication with the owners. Highly recommend this rental.

This is one of the first times renting a VRBO and it blew me away. It was set back on a long drive way, just minutes from town but very quiet. It had a deck where you could sit and enjoy the birds, the quiet and the stars. Inside it was neat, clean, well maintained, with nice fluffy towels and nice dishes. It was perfect!

The unit was as described and matched the pictures on the site. It was very clean and very cozy. Quiet and out-of-the-way, but not too far out. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had. All in all it was a great stay. My wife loved it.

Like a fabulous treehouse!

We loved this place so much! Super private and quiet. VERY clean! Had everything we needed. The deer visited us daily. Loved sitting on the deck in the evening. We come to ID to visit friends every year and hope to make this our permanent HQ!

I am a small town girl at heart, raised in Sandpoint and after many years away recently relocated back! I am a professional and work in healthcare. Five things I wouldn't want to live without are my husband, sunshine, red wine, yummy food, and challenging workouts. I have had a great experience renting on VRBO for many years and also frequently use it to rent vacation homes and have had many wonderful experiences. I often travel with friends or family and enjoy staying together and experiencing new places. I hope you enjoy our precious little gem in Sandpoint.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

It is a beautiful piece of property with a peaceful and serene setting yet close to town. Sandpoint is the best small town in the country in my humble opinion, however I will try not to oversell it and let you experience it for yourself.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The large pine trees, serene view from the living room, and peaceful environment are just a few of the reasons I enjoy it here.
