Great Place, Quiet Stay

Stay was great, Great location, the house was as advertise, Lots off room there was 5 of us in the house and we all felt very comfortable, if being kick picky all the rooms did not have TV, the bedroom with access to patio need blinds at the door, and bathroom faucets need some attention. The golf course on the resort was over priced I felt there should be a set rate for folks renting, and it was very overpriced for an afternoon rate at 3 pm, we decided to go out on town, Will rent again and hopefully golf passed could be included for at least one round.

Perfection

We took 4 generations on an 8 day 7 night trip to this beautiful home. There was plenty of room for everyone to have space and privacy but also room for togetherness. One of my grandsons couldn’t say “vacation” house but called it the “station” house; from then on this house became known as the “station” house. The grandkids are already asking to go back. The only downside was the pool was not heated. We always do family vacations mid September, this year seemed to be a little cooler than we were used to so we were unable to enjoy the pool. But we will most definitely stay here again!

Labor Day gathering

Our family (9 of us, ages 3-71) gathered at Moss Creek for the labor day weekend. There was a minor issue with cleanliness when we first arrived but the owner was wonderful and the property manager was on site within 30 minutes to address our concerns. The house was perfect for our family. The main bedroom is on one side of the house downstairs with two other bedrooms on the other side of the house downstairs. The upstairs had two large bedrooms and plenty of room for a whole family. The pool was larger than I had thought it would be (3 1/2 to 4 1/2 feet deep). The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of cooking items to prepare meals in house. the neighborhood was restful and quiet - at the far end of the community so it takes a few minutes to get there from the front gate. They do allow pets so keep that in mind when booking.

Fantastic Family vacation

We had a great time with a family vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone. The pool at the house was perfect and the community pool was a treat. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful answering all of our questions ahead of time and even leaving us a bottle of wine to welcome us. There were so many items provided that we weren't expecting. Could not recommend this property more!

Surprised

Overall, the home served our family’s needs. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms and we were able to park 4 cars in the driveway. The pool was nice but definitely small so it was more so for cooling off and floating. The towels that were provided were old and frayed. The cleanliness of the property was very disappointing. It’s obvious things haven’t been kept up. The kitchen was fine but very random. The were many multiples of everything many times over (ex. There were like 50 steak knives and only 2 were sharp). The upstairs was the least updated of the entire property, having a very disjointed layout. The upstairs hot pink bathroom had significant mold growth on the ceiling, to the point where we tried to avoid using it. We found two cockroaches upon arrival, one dead and one alive. The bathtub in the master bath was dirty. It took quite a while to get anywhere, with all trips taking a minimum of 20 minutes with no traffic. There was no elevator, despite one being listed on the listing. Overall, it was fine but I don’t think that we will return.

A Great Place to Stay

This is a beautiful home with so much to offer. Moss Creek community is gorgeous! The hosts provide very thoughtful necessities and clearly have thought it out on how to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Disappointed

This place is supposed to have an elevator, according to the accessibility. There was none, and the stairs were very difficult for our group, whose average age was 65+. There is no railing for the stairs by the living room, so unsafe. The towels & washcloths are frayed and dingy. The kitchen floor was dirty. The coffee pot had to be cleaned with vinegar when it quit working. The ice cube maker was broken and clogged. The upstairs showers are so small you can't bend over to shave your legs. The last day there was no hot water, so no shower. Aparently a broken pump or pipe. The pool is not for swimming, only getting wet, since it's about 10 ft sq and 4 1/2ft deep on one side. There are no railings to help get in and out. It was very dirty after a storm and took days to get cleaned up. All in all, I was disappointed.

Golf trip

Went on a golf trip for the first time in South Carolina. Every aspect of the trip went off seamlessly. The property was as advertised. The community was quiet and friendly and we had fantastic weather. The house was perfect for us as it had ample space for us to gather and relax, as well as our own space to enjoy some down time. Would recommend to any large group that have need for four bedrooms and a large space. Very happy with the overall experience.

Family vacation

From start to finish, a wonderful stay! The house is so roomy , clean, quiet and comfortable. We have never stayed in a place so well-stocked! The neighborhood and grounds were beautiful. Plenty of room for all of us! It’s about 20 minutes from Hilton Head, but we didn’t mind. Perfect for our family!

BIG House with Everything You'll Need

Beautiful, big house in a beautiful, big neighborhood! We had 9 family members stay in the house so the 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms were ideal. We made use of the large dining room table and large living room sectional every evening... it's a great layout for a large family to hang out together. My only issues were with the 2 bathrooms upstairs... the "hot pink" bathroom is very small and the other bathroom is a bit of a walk from the bedroom. The owner was very generous with stocking paper products and soap, coffee, etc. We were very comfortable and had a great time in this property!

Great Property Great Location

The property is as advertised only better when you check in. Plenty of room for 10 adults sharing rooms plus additional space in the mother-in-law. Well stocked kitchen - all the dishes and pans you will need if you choose to eat in. The house is located in the back of the community close to the Wilderness walking trail and 25-minute walk to the pool and fitness center. The common areas are well appointed, and the deck and pool area will make you skip your afternoon and evening events. We will stay there again for other family events.

Golfing with friends

The house was right on the golf course with a wonderful view of the 10th hole at Moss Creek North. We enjoyed the back patio, and didn't utilize the splash pool as the weather was cooler. The upstairs rooms are rather quarkey, but for 5 guys, suites our needs. Only real complain was that the grill was a mess. Hadn't been cleaned in forever, and the oven was in the same condition. Smoked the neighborhood out by turning on the grill, and smoked the house out by turning on the oven. I understand that the cleaning service will not clean the grill, but the oven should have been cleaned. Overall we enjoyed the house and the community.

Wonderful for large family

Marine graduation trip

Excellent everything, excellent host, the owner was very accommodating as well. Very clean. Super comfortable and a very quiet neighborhood. Really feels like home. We had to force ourselves to leave. We did not get to check out the beach. But if you are in SC to visit a marine like we did. The base is about 40 minutes away but it really feel like 30 minutes. This place was so spacious I could have brought more in laws. I was very lucky to find this place.

Amazing!

We loved everything about this property. Since we are all adults, we often have trouble finding thd bed setup we desire. Some of us are larger so the king beds are much appreciated! It was large enough for all 12 of us to spread out and not be on top of each other, while having enough group space that we could all eat dinner together or play games. The plunge pool waa larger than i expected and was where i spent most of my time. The property and surrounding area was beautiful and we would definitely stay here again :)

Family time at HHI

Family members from Ohio and Arizona convened at Moss Creek for vacation and was greeted by a very spacious, well appointed VRBO. The five bedroom, five bathroom home suited our family perfectly. Also greatly appreciated the amenities at Moss Creek as the property is beautiful. We utilized the fitness center, pickleball, golf, and swimming pools, all were great!!! The only small drawback was a little mustiness in the house and garage. Overall, a great, great experience!!
