We had a great stay in Franciscos house. It is absolutely perfect and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation.We enjoyed the bbq, the pool, the well equiped kitchen and the fact that supermarkets, great restaurants and beautiful beaches are not far away.Francisco and his son are very welcoming hosts and it was very nice to meet them.Thank you!

Great place to stay

As a group of friends, we spent a week in Francisco's beautiful house and had an outstanding experience. This house has everything you need plus some extras (like a pool billiards table). Enjoy great views, pleasant rooms, unforgettable sunsets and a nice pool area. Also, Francisco has been a very good and friendly host. Among other things, he gave us some very useful recommendations for exploring the area. We would definitely love to come back.

"If you are looking for a...

"If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable holiday house look no further! As the house is positioned on a small hill it has fantastic views over the sea towards Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra which is quite unique. Yet it is near Sesimbra, Cabo Espichel and Lisbon, which makes it a perfect combination for those seeking tranquility and culture. We also found some really nice beaches, just 2 kms from the house, which are not crowded even in high season. On top of that the owners are really very nice people who will do everything they can to give you a warm welcome at the start, during and at the end of the holiday. In conclusion, we have already rented quite a lot of holiday homes and we can only say that this one is highly recommended!"

A great place to stay and enjoy the view

We stayed as a family and very much enjoyed our time. The property is in a beautiful location, in the middle of nature, with fantastic view of pine trees and the ocean. Our family enjoyed the pool, playing and eating outside under the trees, and watching the sunset everyday in the balcony. The house is not very large, but it is functional and the three levels work well, although the sound does pass on vertically. The property is a couple of km from very nice beaches and several good restaurants where you can eat, or take out and eat at home. The Internet is very reliable and fast, which is great, but some of the kitchen appliances are a bit dated. The owner is responsive, very nice and helpful. But he is quite present, regularly taking care of the pool and watering, which constrains your sense of privacy. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely return.

Views Privacy Pool Perfect

It's obvious that Francisco and his family live in the house, given that the kitchen was so well provided with everything that we needed to prepare a full meals. The spacious main floor has two used, but attractive and superbly comfortable leather sofas facing an outside balcony with views to Lisbon and as far out as Caiscais and the hills of Coimbra. We watched the fireworks on New Year's eve, and could identify the Praca de Commercial! It was cool at night, so we used the large, efficient fireplace every night. There is a huge leather covered trunk filled with firewood. Our adult children "briefly" used the pool every day, and jogged down to the beach and back before breakfast. We appreciated the card table for doing jigsaw puzzles. We did not find that Francisco was obtrusive. He was very helpful and courteous. The top bedroom is under a sloping roof so in parts, it has a low ceiling . That didn't bother my 6' husband and me, but one has to be careful. We highly recommend this property.

Séjour de rêve

Maison fantastique dans un cadre idyllique. Le confort est total, Francisco et son épouse sont des hôtes adorables qui nous accueillent chez eux. La maison est parfaitement équipée, décorée avec énormément de goût. Tout est à portée de voiture. Le rêve total.

Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir haben im Juli 2024 mit fünf Personen eine wunderbare Woche hier verbracht. Das Haus ist im Frühjahr 2024 renoviert und erweitert worden. Man hat von dort einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und den Sonnenuntergang und kann abends die Lichter von Cascais und Lissabon sehen. Das Haus liegt auf einem großen Grundstück, so dass man völlig ungestört entspannen kann. Es ist großzügig mit allen denkbaren Haushaltsgegenständen ausgestattet. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad. Die Kinder hatten Spaß im Pool, an der Tischtennisplatte oder am Billardtisch. Mit dem Auto nur zehn Minuten entfernt sind mehrere schöne Strände, der sehenswerte Leuchtturm auf dem Kap Espichel und die Burg von Sesimbra. Auch große Supermärkte sind nur zehn Minuten Fahrt entfernt. Nur fünf Minuten entfernt auf dem Weg zum Kap Espichel gibt es einen Minimarkt und ein kleines preiswertes und gutes Restaurant, so dass wir uns sehr einfach versorgen konnten. Francisco ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er beantwortete alle Fragen schnell, schickte eine Liste mit vielen hilfreichen Informationen und bot uns jede Hilfe an. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Aufenthalt!

Le calme avec vu sur mer

Monsieur Francisco, était très serviable et aimable. La maison était très accueillante et bien équipée. Le jardin et la piscine étaient très bien entretenus. Nous avons passé une semaine de déconnexion totale. On y reviendra très certainement. Et la vue avec la mer à l’horizon… quelle beau couché de soleil.

Wunderfull stay in a very nice house

The house is somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but that's not a disadvantage at all, because the location is fantastic, just like the house. Due to the remote but central location, day trips are possible without any problems. While we were out most of the time, driving back to this beautiful home was almost like coming home for us. Francisco really takes good care of everything, is always available and still has some plans for the house. We wish him every success and all other visitors an equally wonderful stay.

Lovely comfortable villa in a secluded spot

We had a lovely week staying here in May, pool was a little chilly but we still swam, house was very cosy and comfortable, and its within easy reach of several excellent local restaurants (a 5 min drive), beaches and sights - we easily managed day trips to Lisbon, Sintra etc. Francisco the owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Summer family holiday

We stayed at the villa for a week in Aug 2022 with our two young children and had a very lovely time. The villa is in a quiet, secluded, scenic area - we felt incredibly peaceful there. It is close to amenities (a short drive away) and several beaches (all a drive away). Although the villa is outdated, it is well appointed clean and very functional. The swimming pool was a definitie bonus, but the water was rather cold. We found Francisco endlessly helpful, he gave us tips on local sites and restaurants - a kind and considerate host. The best thing about this villa is it's location and it's stunning views. We watched the sunset from the balcony on most nights whilst the evening light flooded the ground floor. It's a great spot for exploring Sesimbra - a car is a must for this.

Excellent holiday property

The property is comfortable and equipped with all necessary items for your holidays. It is relatively remote (accessible mainly by car), being located in a site of outstanding natural beauty, near the beach, forest area and Cabo Espichel. Francisco was a welcoming host ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. A great place to rest and re-charge.

Sunset-Haus mit kleinen Mängeln

Das Haus liegt sehr abgelegen, mitten im Grünen. Mit herrlichem Blick auf den Atlantik und beeindruckenden Sonnenuntergängen. Zum Einkaufen oder auch zum Strand braucht man ein Auto, ist sonst zu weit (ca. 15 Minuten mit Auto). Garten-, Poolmöbel, Matratzen und Grill sollten dringend erneuert werden! Der sehr nette Besitzer Francisco hat angedeutet, dass er im Haus einiges verändern will. Alles in allem ein nettes Häuschen, ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Luxus darf man aber nicht erwarten.

Excellent Séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la maison de Francisco qui nous a très bien reçu, avec gentillesse, discrétion et attention. La maison est bien placée pour profiter de Lisbonne (trajet de 3/4 h) et des alentours de Sesimbra, petite station balnéaire, qui est un parc naturel régional, . Le calme est garanti car la maison est située au milieu d'un grand terrain arboré (avec piscine), avec vue sur les pinèdes aux alentours , la mer un peu plus loin et au loin la baie de Lisbonne. Spectacle tous les soirs avec de très beaux couchers de soleil. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Merci Francisco.

Entspannung garantiert

Wunderbar gelegenes Haus mit schönem Pool und Garten mit Blick auf das Meer. Fracisco war ein sehr guter Gastgeber, sehr hilfreich und nett und oft anwesend. Innerhalb von 15 Min erreicht man verschiedene Strände und größere Einkaufläden innerhalb von 20 Minuten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen.
