Chalet La Mura: Luxury, ski back possible

Located between the village of les Allues and Méribel resort at 1450m of Altitude , our comfortable newly built cottage is situated in a quiet and authentic village and offers a clear view on the Saulire Peak.It consists of 4 bedrooms + 1 mezzanine and sleeps 10 people (possibility to host 2 additionnal people in the sofa, for 15 euros per person and per night).

It is equipped with all necessary facilities including a dry ski boot , a flat- screen TV with DVD player and a washing machine. You can enjoy traditional Savoyard dishes thanks to fondue and raclette machine that are available in the chalet.

We hold the " Label Méribel " created by the Office of Tourism of Meribel. This label is intended to enhance the internal quality criteria in the valley . It is also intended to focus all accommodations that meet the criteria atmosphere , equipment , plcae, view ...

A ski slope takes you to the chalet. A free shuttle every 20 minutes you will reach the center of Méribel in 5-10 minutes.

We provide free Wi -Fi and private parking .

Our membership in the ALP-Meribel association gives you access to numerous reductions and advantages (ski shop, French Ski School, Guides Office, Snowmobiles, Bowling, winter equestrian activities, yoga, snowshoeing, etc.). .). Wonderful stay 1-8 March 2025

We had a wonderful stay in Chandon. The open kitchen and living room are spacious, featuring a large dining table and enough seating for nine people on the couches. The teenagers especially enjoyed the large TV with Netflix.The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, microwave, and induction cooktop, making meal preparation easy. Additionally, the provided raclette and fondue sets added a nice touch to our dining experience. There are plenty of plates, cups, and glasses available.While the bedrooms and bathrooms are compact, they are efficiently designed and worked well for us. The beds are on the firm side, but we still slept comfortably. There is ample space to dry ski boots and skis, and we also appreciated the small infrared sauna.The location is very convenient, with a bus stop just a few meters from the house. The bus system is efficient, running every 15 minutes in the morning and afternoon to and from Méribel Village and Méribel Centre. The last bus back is even at 01:00, allowing us to enjoy dinner in Méribel Centre without needing to take the car.The Méribel Valley is ideally located in the heart of the vast Trois Vallées ski area, making it perfect for day trips to Courchevel and Val Thorens.Communication with the owner, Arnoud, was excellent—he was responsive, clear, and helpful both before and during our stay.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily return!

Montagne de rêve....

Merveilleux séjour dans un hameau savoyard remplissant toutes les conditions d'un séjour optimal. Le Chalet est un classqiue du genre bien agencé et super équipé. Ballades et lieux magiques sont légions dans le site. Et surtout un calme bienfaisant....

Excellent weekend

Très joli chalet, confortable, spacieux et très bien agencé. 4 chambres confortables bien que pas très grandes, dont 2 avec une sdb privative, une salle d’eau. La grande pièce de vie est vraiment agréable et pratique. La mezzanine avec un couchage supplémentaire est un plus. Le garage en face du chalet est appréciable.

Superbe chalet parfaitement équipé et au calme

Le chalet est situé dans un hameau proche des Allues (Méribel). Il offre tous les équipements nécessaires et beaucoup d’espace. Le garage juste en face est un plus. Communication aisée avec le propriétaire et procédure d’arrivée indépendante (boîte à clés). A recommander.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons loué lors du mois de juin ce magnifique châlet. Il est très spacieux et bien placé, proche d'un parking pour ceux qui viendraient avec plus d'une voiture. Nous n'avons pas pu beaucoup visiter les alentours, mais il y avait peu/pas de bruit. Le loueur a répondu très rapidement à tous mes messages et l'accueil ainsi que le départ étaient parfaits.

Meribel in January

Fantastic property with a great open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. Excellent communication with the property owner and a bus stop at the bottom of the road, so access to slopes and Meribel very easy. Essentials covered - we hired towels & bedding, we didn't run out of hot water and no issues with Wi-fi! Would stay again on our next visit to Meribel

Chalet authentique et spacieux

Logement adapté pour grande famille authentique chaleureux pièce à vivre spacieuse et conviviale. Chambre avec salle de bain pratique même si une des salle de bain meritrait un petit rafraîchissement. Cuisine bien équipée juste les poêles un peu fatiguées. Logement est bien situé avec l arrivée en ski au pied du chalet et l arrêt de bus en bas de la rue!! Propriétaire très aimable et disponible !! Avons passé un bien agréable séjour!!

Super chalet

Le chalet est spacieux et vraiment très bien équipé (barrière enfants, jeux, sauna, ustensiles de cuisine,...) . Le propriétaire est très réactif aux messages. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le village et les environs (les 3 vallées). A recommander sans hésiter pour les amateurs de montagne et de randonnées !

Great chalet

We stayed in this lovely chalet during Feb 2020. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 3 babies and we had everything we needed for a great time. Would highly recommend.

Pleasant Stay

The Chalet had everything we needed, there were 8 adults sharing. Although the bedrooms were small the living area was spacious. There is garage underneath the chalet to store your skis and boots. There is another garage opposite the chalet where you can park your car. It has everything you need for a skiing holiday. Chandon is a small hamlet so there is no boulangerie , we did not have a car but were able to use the bus to get to the shops, in Les Allues which takes 10 minutes(where there are also two very good restaurants) The bus service is good, the stop is just at the bottom of the road from the chalet. It usually took 15- 20 minutes on the bus to get to the main slopes. You can ski back to the Chalet but it is snow dependent. The only downside is the add on cost for cleaning and bed linen, I think it should be incorporated into the whole cost of hiring the chalet, since these costs are only revealed once you get the contract. The cleaning is compulsory, bed linen and towels are optional. A welcome pack would have been much appreciated even some milk so that we could have a hot drink on arrival before heading for the shops. Previously when we have rented this has been the case. Overall we enjoyed our stay but I think this chalet suits those who are travelling by car.

Très beau chalet dans un magnifique cadre. Spacieux et avec de l’espace.

Accessibilité en ski pour le retour via une piste non damée magnifique. Très beau village avec chalet en vieilles pierres et bois à recommander.

Pleasant stay in high summer

There were only four of us plus labrador, staying for a week in July. Almost everything was as described. The bedrooms (as mentioned before) are very small, but it was fine for us. Nice to walk out the door straight into the country. Chandon is a pleasant quiet village. Slightly shocked by the prices at the Spar in Méribel - possibly the most I've ever paid for a few groceries!! Lovely walk beside the river above Méribel, but almost all the other rural walks were vertical: not recommended for the infirm.

Un super séjour dans un chalet très bien équipé . Bien placé , à proximité de multitudes de promenades et autres activités . Merci de nous avoir autorisé à emmener notre chien qui a pu également se défouler !!! Des vacances agréables . Pas de fausse note . Nous recommandons chaudement cet endroit .
