Stunning view and beautiful place

We stayed one week in the house built in the mountain, managed by a very helpful and attentive host Fabrizio. The view was fantastic, the house was on the road to the main beach, but there is no other property nearby, so it is quiet. We were glad we had a car as we could very easy move around the island and explore different places and beaches. The house is very well kept, everything was working, clean and comfortable. The only minor issue were ants who were very happy to eat anything they found on the ground, but we could keep them away from the kitchen, so it was not a big problem. Thanks Fabrizio!

Simply Paradise!!

First of all Fabrizio goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and as seamless as possible. Acting as a concierge as well as island expert. The property is simply breathtaking !! It has everything you need. A steep but pleasant hike down to Frontone beach with a rustic restaurant a short walk away. You’ll feel like royalty and want to pinch yourself! Warning however: the drive down to the property is STEEP AND TERRIFYING in a car! Just know that in advance. This is a great property for adults and grown families but a real challenge for seniors due to the steep walk. You will love this miracle of cave home and Mr. Mazzella”s warm hospitality!!

The perfect place!

Fabrizio’s house is incredible, and Fabrizio himself is incredibly kind, fun and helpful. The house is built into the hill, a rare and very special experience. The views of Ponza’s coast, port and surrounding countryside are magic, stunningly beautiful. You are removed from the bustle of the town, with the whole hill to yourself, it’s incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Just down the hill is Gerardo’s and Enzo’s restaurants, both really special, on the way to Frontone beach, also very pretty and great for swimming. It’s a short walk to the bus stop at the main road, with regular busses to town or the northern part of the island, which is also beautiful, but we mostly walked to town, a pretty stroll on side streets. The house is well equipped and clean, with a hot tub and an amazing terrace for taking it all in. And Fabrizio is super sweet and responsive, offering recommendations for boat trips before we arrived, picking us up at the ferry and dropping us off as well, just a very nice person. Scent of Myrtle is perfect and highly recommended!

Che spettacolo!!!

La casa è in una posizione con una vista mozzafiato! È attrezzata di tutto e con una terrazza a cui non manca nulla per poter vivere al mare anche se non si volesse scendere al mare… Per me che ho problemi forti di schiena si è reso necessario affittare un’auto ma per chi è in forma si può scendere a Frontone a piedi e rientrare con barchetta al porto e poi servizio pubblico fino a casa. Il padrone di casa, Fabrizio, è di una cortesia e gentilezza oltre ogni aspettativa. Lo ringrazio per averci supportato in tutto! Da ripetere il prossimo anno!!!

Das Haus war super sauber und Fabrizio ist ein absolut toller Gastgeber, die aussicht war unglaublich und es hat viel Spaß auf Ponza gemacht, wir kommen auf jeden fall noch einmal wieder :)

Perfect Ponza

We had a fabulous stay on the beautiful island of Ponza. The house was very quaint and the view is absolutely stunning! Fabrizio was such a lovely host and he was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at the dock on arrival and departure, which we really appreciated. It was quite an adventure squeezing 5 of us into his little car, thank goodness for the luggage rack on top of the car! We had an issue with the air conditioning and the toilet was making crazy noises when we first arrived, but Fabrizio came first thing the next morning to fix both issues. The house is well situated on the hillside overlooking the water, with a view to the town of Porto. It is a short walk up to the road to catch the bus into town or down to the beach for a swim. Fabrizio made some great recommendations for meals and we had a wonderful dinner at Enzo's down by the water on our last evening, it was the perfect way to end a perfect family vacation. My only comment is it would have been nice to have a second bathroom in the house. It's a little challenging with 5 adults sharing one bathroom in a fairly small space but it did not detract from the enjoyment of the vacation! And as everyone has mentioned, the ants are a constant presence but you just learn to deal with them! Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Casa Profumo di Mirto.

Stunning Views

Stunning views from the house and patio. The house had all the amenities described and was a delight to stay at. It is built into the stone of the hillside. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen and dining room were easy to use and also very comfortable. The wash machine was just off the bathroom (with shower and toilet) and there was also an outdoor shower and hot tub. The view from the house and the patio is across the water and cliffs of the town of Porto and is absolutely stunning. It was a short walk uphill to the main road with the bus stop. The buses came frequently and made it easy to get to other parts of the Island. Fabrizio picked us up from the ferry and also took us back which was extra nice and explained everything about the house. Ponza is a terrific island and this house was perfect for enjoying it.

Vacanza indimenticabile

Ottima esperienza! La casa è bellissima, con una meravigliosa vista sulla spiaggia del Frontone e sul porto. Fabrizio Mazzella è un proprietario veramente gentile e premuroso, praticamente un amico che vi presta casa sua :-). Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Villa incantevole

La villa e’ in una posizione isolata con una vista incantantevole. Molto bella, sia all’interno che all’esterno. Si e’ circondati dal verde e dal profumi dei fiori. Cucina attrezzata, non manca nulla. Ci torneremo sicuramente xche’ ci ho lasciato il cuore

Una settimana fantastica

Il proprietario di casa è una persona di infinita cortesia e disponibilità, l'appartamento è a dir poco Divino!!! un panorama che rasenta il sogno e l'idromassaggio in giardino è proprio il TOP!!!! Molto consigliato veramente nulla da eccepire (e vi giuro che il proprietario di casa non mi ha pagato!!!!).

MERAVIGLIOSO PARADISO

La frase che viene da dire appena si arriva è "Sono in paradiso"...e qui racchiudiamo tutta l'emozione possibile. Già dal primo contatto telefonico ci si rende conto di quanto sia bello sentirsi curati e graditi...all'arrivo il sorriso di Fabrizio conferma che si è i benvenuti! E una buona accoglienza fa partire la vacanza con il piede giusto...La casa è una meraviglia, nella roccia, tipo grotta...tipica ponzese...all'interno il bianco e l'azzurro dominano...molti dettagli con accessori di pesci e conchiglie...reti...lampade a forma di faro...tutto parla di mare...ci si trova insomma nella giusta atmosfera...poi il pezzo forte che ci ha incantati è la terrazza e la vista sulla baia del Frontone...uno spettacolo puro...credo la migliore vista dell'isola...di giorno e di notte...La spiaggia è proprio sotto...ci si arriva tranquillamente a piedi...saranno meno di 500 metri un pò in discesa...ma ne vale la pena. Per il resto, fornitura di asciugamani, saponi, phon, stoviglie, piatti, tutto sufficiente. WIFI presente e disponibile, così come lavatrice e lavastoviglie. Piscina idromassaggio e barbecue in terrazza sono funzionali e vale proprio la pena utilizzarli. E' proprio come visto in foto anche se dal vivo l'effetto è davvero emozionante...Grazie di tutto Fabrizio.

Traumhafte Aussicht auf einen erholsamen Urlaub

Wir haben unsere Zeit auf Ponza sehr genossen. Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist einfach unschlagbar: Sehr ruhig mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf das Meer. Da unser Aufenthalt im Mai lag und zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch wenig andere Touristen auf der Insel waren, konnten wir unser Auto mitnehmen (der Weg ist für Wagen mit wenig Bodenfreiheit eine Herausforderung, aber auch dort bietet der Vermieter ggf.Unterstützung an, so dass er das Gepäck zur Unterkunft transportiert und man das Auto ein wenig entfernt abstellen könnte). Es gibt aber auch eine Bushaltestelle nicht weit von der Wohnung entfernt. Das Innere der Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und zweckmäßig, aber wer will auf dieser Insel schon im Haus hocken. Der Außenbereich ist großartig: mit großzügiger Terrasse, vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und einem nagelneuen Whirlpool. Der Vermieter ist jederzeit ansprechbar und unternimmt alles um einen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Paradisiaca

Sono tornato a Ponza dopo molti anni e non potevo che farlo alla grande. La casa è a dir poco meravigliosa. Basterebbe parlare solamente della vista strepitosa che si gode dalla terrazza panoramica per condensare in un unica frase i pregi di questo pseudo appartamento. In realtà si tratta di una villa posta lontano sia da inquinamento acustico che luminoso, con la brezza che porta gli odori della macchia mediterranea rigogliosa che la circonda. Ne ho fatti di viaggi ma la completezza delle dotazioni che viene offerto dal proprietario è sorprendente. Si va dai 4 tv, alla filodiffusione, alla cucina completa di ogni elettrodomestico, al bagno con doccia e lavatrice, al condizionatore, per non parlare dell'idromassaggio, dell'amaca e delle sdraio poste sulla grande terrazza...praticamente c'è tutto. Da lasciare senza fiato è il cielo stellato di notte con la compagnia delle lucciole. Infine, un dettaglio non da poco, un ringraziamento speciale a Fabrizio che mi ha ospitato in questa dimora da sogno con il suo fare amichevole ed accogliente. Spero di tornare per poter ripetere l'esperienza...magari entro l'anno.

SOGNO

Abbiamo scelto la casa guadando le foto della terrazza sul mare una volta arrivati ci siamo resi conto che le foto non rendevano giustizia ! La vista è molto più bella tanto da farti chiedere se è vero che ti trovi li o stai sognando! Meraviglioso! Vacanza perfetta sotto ogni punto di vista, Fabrizio ottimo padrone di casa persona "speciale" disponibile e mai invadente. Lati negativi neanche sforzandovi non ne ho trovati. Certo ci si devo spostare per andare in paese ma esistono i mezzi pubblici per chi non vuole usare auto o moto. A presto Ponza a presto Fabrizio!
