Mid-Coast Fun

Excellently stocked kitchen, private back yard with fence (for pooch protection), and stunning view from second story picture window. There was access to the beach, down a neighbor's (?) staircase. Some tilt in the floor, but not a big deal.

Great spot

We had a great time on our spring break trip. The downstairs bedrooms are quite cold and the cadet heaters are a bit of a challenge as they warm the room up fast but no thermostate leading to some restless nights for our kiddo and us. That was the only downfall and would not be an issue during the warmer season. Everything else was great!only

View of the ocean/gathering place

We stayed a week at this property with one couple and 2 singles. It was centrally located to the places we enjoy visiting near Yachats, Oregon. It was suited to our needs and gave us a large kitchen/gathering place for our group. The master bedroom was relaxing and the large windows gave us an amazing view of the ocean. The only draw back was with such windows and open spaces was that the privacy at night was limited as the bedroom had stairs leading up to the master but no door. No door on the bathroom either. Their were some blinds thankfullly. This took some getting used to and a little planning. But viewing the ocean from the king sized bed or/and seating area made up for it. Proximity to the beach was close although access was a bit tricky. We enjoyed our stay and felt well cared for.

Expansive upstairs bedroom

Watched the sunset on the water while lying in bed. Upstairs is so impressive I felt obligated to stay in it and not come downstairs. Very nice kitchen too. Big screen TV is a good thing, but there are so many remotes it was daunting trying to figure out which ones we needed to use. They should be labeled. Wi-Fi was not working when we checked in, this was quickly remedied by texting owner. Overall, excellent house near the beach!

Perfect getaway for families with a dog

We enjoyed our stay at Yachats. The house was clean and had gorgeous ocean views. The back yard is enclosed making it super easy to bring your furry friend. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Family getaway

Great place and location for my family to have a vacation on the coast. It was extremely nice to have such close beach access to go on walks and watch the kids play Spikeball.

Location

First off, enjoyed the fact we were on the beach, that is definitely what your paying for. The house it self was nice, but what wasn't broken needed repairs. Main level bathroom was awful, sink leaks, had to empty out a bowl under the sink everyday, shower leaks as well, mold in the shower. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, but sprayer on sink broken, there's a crack on the floor from kitchen to living area, where the sub flooring is soft, about broke a toe. Laundry room was filthy, it's the catch all room for owners tools and junk, washer and dryer are about 20 years old, rusty and dirty. Back padio, BBQ was unusable rusty and filthy, Sweethomes brought out a used replacement 2 days later, DVD player also was broken, never replaced. There are a few chairs outside that's it, no table would have been nice to dine out back on the padio. If you want a house that has beach access and in fair shape then this is perfect for you. My daughters family rented a home 2.5 miles away, Huckleberry house was perfect and cost nearly 300 dollars less, 10 minutes from the beach. Wish I'd known that the homes are nicer, not being beach front would have went that route. Good luck with your rental as the pictures are not updated, so your not sure what you will get, as far as condition goes. also there is no cell phone coverage available, house phone stopped working after the 3rd day of our stay. Decor was a bit off, lots of crows gave my youngest daughter nightmares.

Peace and Quiet on the Central Oregon Coast

This home was beautiful! We loved our 4-night stay in Yachats. We enjoyed beach walks, the cute little town of Yachats itself, and the home was centrally located to visit and explore the natural beauty of the Central Oregon Coast!

Beach get away

The house was well appointed and the private hot tub was perfect. The view from the master bedroom is well worth the price. FYI - Apple maps did not take us to the correct place, but we were able to find it with another GPS application.

Casa Del Mar

This was our second stay at this glorious home. This time we elected to utilize the hot tub. What a great option. We were prunes by the end of the weekend. The pups love the back yard. The house is our favorite. Spotty cell service was such a plus. Nobody could bug us!!! Love the little town of Yachats. Makes me sad that some previous guests have caused damage to this lovely home. Such a shame. Thanks for sharing with us. We will be coming back!!

Casa Del Mar

Our stay at Casa Del Mar was fantastic. It is right on the beach, with great beach access. The home was great. Had all the modern amenities, and some fun quaint features. The fenced back yard was perfect for our pups. They loved it. The home is close to Yachats and Newport, and so much more. We love the local shops and the restaurants. The property is well maintained and ready to go. The property manager was friendly and helpful. Only recommendation we would make is have some dressers or closets to put clothing. There is no where to put your clothes for a long stay. Thanks again for such a great home. We will be booking again in the future.
