The Casita was perfect for our 1 week stay while we looked at 55 communities in the area. The Casita was extremely clean, well stocked with amenities and the owner was non-intrusive, but very responsive and friendly. Would very much book again.

Karen was a sweet lady and very helpful on providing info on the Saddlebrooke community. She let us know that we could use her washer/dryer if needed and that we could use her backyard if we wanted. The casita felt like you were staying with a family member as it had lots of nice touches to make you feel at home.

Saddlebrooke casita

This casita was perfect for us, very clean, well appointed, quiet and convenient. Karen was very helpful and friendly and made our stay very pleasant. Much better than staying at a hotel!

Beautiful Views, Lovely Owner

A great little casita with everything we needed. Our lovely owner was very friendly and helpful. Great amenities in the community and close to other food/retail options. The views of the Catalinas are amazing and it is close to Catalina State Park which has great hiking trails. We had a great time and will look to come back.

Saddlebrooke Stay

We travel a lot and Karen’s studio was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! SaddleBrooke is perfect for enjoying the warm, Tucson weather. We used the studio as home base at night and explored Tucson during the day. We hiked, enjoyed beautiful desert sunsets, explored caves, went horseback riding and driving in the mountains. Karen is absolutely great and so accommodating and gracious! We highly recommend Karen’s studio!

Great Casita with One Caveat

The Casita was clean, roomy, comfortable and quiet. It was well stocked with about anything one would need for a short or extended stay. The host was friendly and attentive. Our only complaint was that the mattress needs to be replaced. A foam cushion was placed on top of the mattress, but it did not really help make the bed more comfortable.

Assumed the refrigerator was a normal size that you could keep ice. Was the size for a dorm room. Not condusive for a 2 week stay. Also stated washer, not.

Good place to stay in the heart of Saddlebrooke!

Great place to stay in the heart of Saddlebrooke! Clean, well appointed - really enjoyed having the Keurig coffee maker! Access to back patio and barbeque (we didn't use, but nice place to relax.) Owner is very friendly and reasonable. We had issues with getting into the various facilities in Saddlebrooke and, in the end, didn't get to use them and we were promised a $10 credit. Bed is a queen size and comfortable for one person. Casita is quite spacious and had a compact frig, small microwave oven, toaster oven and serviceware for two. I would stay again.

Very nice location

Nice quiet community. Very clean Casita. Bed was comfortable with super soft pillows. Room good use some sound proofing. We could clearly hear the owner on the other side , which means she heard us. Another thing that was disappointing was the roofers she scheduled to work on the unit. They showed up the day before checkout, taking our parking space. We had to leave early about 3 hours before check out because of the noise. We couldn't even take the garbage out because the roofing equipment was blocking it.

Unfortunately the roofers surprised me & came a day early & truly apologize for the disruption. After several years of having people stay in the Casita (which has a 3" thick styrafoam sheet fitted on the office side of the door & double sound proof curtains), no one has complained about the sound. I will take care of that immediate. On the other side of the door is my office which I work out of at home.

Other than our cordial host, the casita was easily large enough for two, and located on a quiet neighborhood street. Amenities were current. Interior design current.

Casita (Studio Apt) it gives you an opportunity to enjoy a week or a month in SaddleBrooke, nestled in the Catalina Mountains & Enjoy our Beautiful Weather and see if you want to come back for a longer period or buy a home so you can stay here for your cold winters.

My Casita is in walking distance to the Clubhouse, Pools, Fitness Center, & Mini Mart.
