We raised our kids in a home about a mile from Tucson National. After moving to Boise, we wanted our vacation property In the Casas Adobes area of Tucson and be on a golf course. Omni Tucson National was always one of our favorite places to play, so it was obvious where we wanted to be.
Typically, you need to decide whether to have mountain or golf course views, as few homes have both. Since we had to choose, we decided on the golf course location. We found what we feel is one of the best spots to be within the course and having the added bonus of the mountains in the distance.
Looking out the patio doors and down the fairway, we have 300 yards of uninterrupted green grass and landscaped desert vegetation. Beyond that, the amazing desert sunsets frame Wasson Peak, the tallest in the Tucson Mountain Range.
We also do not worry about stray tee shots invading our space. Golfers will be propelling their golf balls away from our home and you'll watch the little white dot disappear into the blue sky.
