good family vacation

The villa is located in gated community, has abprivate sea beach and access to community swimming pool. Garden is beautiful. But the major issue was lack of air conditioning in the house which was only in 1 bedroom. The house has no ventilation system and it was not so comfortable for such a hot weather. Owner was responsive to our request and provided us with new ventilators, which improved the situation a little bit. Kitchen is sufficiently equipped, but dishes were dirty. Overall we had good vacation as supermarkets were close and Cefalù village was great

Mi dispiace che avete trovato caldo anche al piano più basso dove altri ospiti per la notte hanno chiesto coperte.E' pur vero che durante il vostro soggiorno vi è stata una temperatura eccezionalmente alta ,ma mai ho avuto segnalazioni di tal genere (vedi tutte le recensioni ) ho visto che usavate il ventilatore anche nel giardino. Per quanto riguarda i piatti sporchi mi dispiace che non me ne avete messo a conoscenza durante i nostri contatti avrei provveduto immediatamente come quando vi siete lamentati per i fiori caduti sul terrazzino dall'oleandro del giardino confinante.Sarà mia cura chiedere spiegazioni alle donne che si occupano della pulizia della villa per evitare ogni piccola svista.Comunque vi ringrazio per le vostre osservazioni per verificare eventuali criticità denunciate e provvedere in modo che si possa sempre migliorare. Great villa for relaxing with family

We, 2 adults and 2 kids (1,5 and 4,5 years old) had two great weeks at Andrea's villa. It's located in a really nice neighborhood (gated community) and it really feels like you live like the locals do. The villa is very nice with everything that you can ask for. The wi-fi works great, the garden is big with many different spots that can be used during the day. The only negative part was that the outdoor kitchen didn't work, it's only the sink and a BBQ that can be used. The kitchen inside is very small and hot, so it would have been nice to cook dinner outside. And for us, with a 1,5 year old boy, the stairs inside was a big problem as we couldn't close any doors or put anything in front of them to make sure that he didn't climbed and fell down. As two of the bedrooms are located in the basement of the villa, it wasn't a problem to sleep without air condition even if it was very hot outside. The pool and the beach that are only for the ones living in the neighborhood are great. However, if you would like to visit a more crowded beach you can just walk 10-15 min and you will find a really nice one with sun beds, a small restaurant (snack bar) and play ground for kids. Just outside the gated community you can also find Hotel Baia del Capitano where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or just visit for a drink. Even if the villa is located outside Cefalu and that a rental car is recommended, we decided not to have one as we just wanted to have 2 relaxing weeks by the beach and pool. However, one can either take the bus to Cefalu (departure 4 times a day back and forth) or just take a taxi (5-7 min and fixed price €15) which we did to sort out grocery shopping etc. Andrea himself is a great host! Always available, either through mobile or email. Very eager to make sure that your stay is good. He even made sure that we had the most necessary groceries in the villa as we arrived very late.

July trip to cefalu 2019

The villa was lovely and clean with a good linens supply. Andrea was kind and arranged a late check in and check out plus he organised a food shop for us for our late arrival. The nearby beach is beautiful and rustic and therefore has no facilities. It was super easy to get to Cefalù where the beach and sea are stunning with plenty of amenities. You also need a swimming hat to use the pool at the site and there aren’t lots of sun loungers available. This was a fantastic trip and the villa was beautiful, well equipped and a lovely place to stay.

Sehr schönes und großzügiges Objekt nahe Cefalu

Sehr nette Begrüßung durch Andrea. Auch kleine zusätzliche Wünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt. Tolle Lage in einer schönen, ruhigen Siedlung mit wunderschönem Garten. Leider war es in der ersten Woche recht kalt für Sizilien, daher froren wir etwas in den Zimmern im Untergeschoss. Die Küche ist klein, aber ausreichend. Die Räume sind gemütlich und die Außenanlage eignet sich ebenfalls sehr gut zum entspannen. Leider war der Gemeinschaftspool noch nicht in Betrieb, wir hatten bei der Suche nach unserem Ferienhaus extra Pool als Bedingung angegeben. Das kann man dem Vermieter aber nicht anlasten, es ist wohl ein Fehler im Buchungssystem. Ein Mietwagen ist absolut notwendig für Einkäufe und Ausflüge. Das Meer ist sehr nahe, aber der Strand in Cefalu ist zum Baden deutlich schöner. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen und entspannten Aufenthalt!

Toller Garten, super Ausstattung

Großes liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit vielen Duschen und WCs, gut ausgestattete Küche, wunderschöner Garten, praktische Außendusche und sogar Außenküche, sehr ruhige Lage, wunderschöner romantischer einsamer Strand zum Sachen suchen (leider findet man auch Müll), der Strand ist etwas weiter weg als 70 m. ,aber fußläufug in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, einzige Nachteile: die vielen Mücken, und der Pool war noch zu,

Vi ringrazio per avere apprezzato la mia villa.Siete stati ospiti meravigliosi. per quanto riguarda le zanzare, è stata fatta un disinfestazione e la casa è munita di zanzariere in tutte le aperture. La piscina,come è scritto nell'annuncio, è fruibile dal 1 luglio al 15 Settembre- In questi giorni il condominio sta provvedendo a rimuovere ciò che il mare purtroppo, deposita sulle spiagge. Villa stupenda, molto accurata nei dettagli.

Una Villa stupenda arredata con molto amore, non e' mancato nulla. Un luogo perfetto per le vacanze 100 metri dal mare, una spiaggia molto pulita e silenziosa. Il proprietario ... una persona meravigliosa !!! Grazie Andrea di tutto quello che hai fatto per noi . Da consigliare anche con Bambini o gruppo di amici.( in questa Villa cè molta PRIVACY ) A Cefalu`abbiamo trovato dei buoni ristoranti e conosciuto gente bravissima.Grazie a tutti per la splendida vacanza.Agata,Juan,Taja,Joso,Ela,Hikmed,Antonia e il Piccolo Noyan

Ein wirklich tolles Haus mit einem tollen Vermiete

Ein hervorragendes Haus für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Familienurlaub. Auto ist allerdings zwingend notwendig. Auch Andrea der Vermieter bekommt 5 Sterne. Ein äusserst höflicher und korrekter Mann. Wir waren bis jetzt schon das dritte Mal in Mazzaforno.

Not just a holiday house but a home away from home

This is an ideal home for quiet, relaxing time. Tucked away in a very pleasant complex of holiday homes in an extremely safe and quiet zone, surrounded by nature, this house makes for a very comfortable base for a family or group of fiends. The location is excellent - very close to the autostrada Palermo - Messina and only a few minutes away by car to the center of Cefalu, one can reach plenty of sites, towns and villages very easily. The house itself is in immaculate condition and the owners take a lot of pride in ensuring everything is as it should be. There is plenty of space for all the family - the house can sleep 9 persons with ease and comfort. Definitely recommended. We look forward to visiting again in the near future !!
