Extraordinary house

This house and location is fantastic for a large group wanting to stay outside the larger towns. We really loved our stay here. The host is very helpful as well.

We absolutely loved the house, location and the host was very good at communication. We recommend this home if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The foosball table provided a night of competitive family fun! We recommend walking through the town although it is quite hilly. We recommend the Carrapateira Museum, exploring the quiet village and the hike to Praia de Bordeira about 20 mins. The Microbar in town had great food and service. Pizza Pazza was a short drive and worth it.

Fabulous location, close to the beach and cafes.

The Villa is lovely, very spacious, clean and comfortable with good heating for winter nights. You can walk to the beach through the sand dunes (about 20 minutes) or drive within 10minutes to two beaches with boardwalk access. There are a couple of cafes and a restaurant in the village. All good.

A treasure

This wonderful place in a small surf town on the western coast of southern Portugal was just perfect for our group of 5 women. The town had several options to eat out but we loved doing “take away” and enjoying our magical views from this home. The host was super responsive when we accidentally broke the toaster - dropping of a new one the next morning. If I could give 6 stars - I would! Thank you Miguel for an extraordinary stay in your beautiful home.

Nice House in Carrapateira

I rented this house to meet some friends and surf together in Carrapateira. Since the house was much larger than required for me and my family I later invited extended family to join us not knowing that would increase the price of our stay. This should be advertised better by VRBO as it caused some confusion. The house is good shape and looks even better than the pictures. Our kids loved the play room / basement. Some of the adults appreciated having a dedicated office space. The rooms and the shared spaces were very comfortable. The location is great. At a walking distance from Bordeira beach and a very short walk to downtown. Amado and many other beaches are a short drive away.

Lovely house in a wonderful location

I spent a week at Miguel's house with my husband and two small kids (4 and 6). The house was very clean and comfortable. Spacious and very well equipped. It is a 2 minute walk from the center of Carrapateira, which we loved. Although the town is very small, it has a handful of great restaurants and cafes, a mini market and 2 surf stores. It provides easy access to two beautiful beaches - one of which is just a 10 minute walk along a sandy trail. Miguel was a fantastic host. Very communicative and responsive. For example, we had some trouble logging on to the wifi when we first arrived, but he responded to my email right away and quickly solved the problem. I would recommend Carrapateira and Miguel's house to anyone wanting to visit the Costa Vicentina.

Geräumiges Haus in toller Natur

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in Carrapateira. Das Haus ist wirklich groß und bietet viel Platz für zwei Familien. Wir waren mit 8 Personen vor Ort. Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet und wir haben gerne im Wintergarten beim Abendessen den Sonnenuntergang beobachtet. Einziger Makel ist, dass die wenigen Sitzmöbel auf der Terrasse sowie die Bänke am Esstisch sehr in die Jahre gekommen sind. Einige Möbel sind wackelig und brechen schnell, hier würden wir eine Neuanschaffung empfehlen. Auch der Staubsauger hat nicht gut funktioniert. Sonst war alles top!

Sehr schönes und familienfreundliches Haus!

Dass wir schon zum zweiten Mal in diesem Haus waren, zeugt davon, wie überzeugt wir von dem Haus sind. Wir haben insgesamt vier Wochen dort verbracht und das Haus bietet alles, was man sich als Familie von einem Urlaubsdomizil wünschen kann. Mitten im Dorf CARRAPATEIRA gelegen, bietet es einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Dünenlandschaft. Mit einem 20-minütigen Spaziergang steht man direkt auf den Klippen und schaut aufs Meer. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist von sehr guter Qualität und es ist alles da, was man benötigt, um eine gute Zeit zu haben. Parkplätze sind vor dem Haus verfügbar und der Garten bietet eine sichere Umgebung für Kinder. In 3 Minuten Fußmarsch ist man am Supermarkt und der örtlichen Bäckerei. das Haus von Miguel können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen und danken Miguel für die tolle Betreuung während unseres Aufenthaltes.

Tolles Haus! Sehr gut für Familien mit Kindern geeignet!

Mitten im wunderschönen Carrapateira an der Costa Vicentina, liegt dieses wunderbare Haus mit insgesamt vier Schlafzimmern mit vier Bädern. Nicht nur, dass es zwei wunderbare Wohnzimmer gibt eins Erdgeschoss und ein Spielzimmer für Kinder im Keller, es gibt auch einen wunderbaren Wintergarten, in dem man das Gefühl hat, draußen zu sitzen und trotzdem Wind geschützt zu sein. Auf mehreren Terrassen und Balkone lässt sich die Sonne genießen und einen Blick in die umgebende Dünenlandschaft werfen. Das Haus ist mehr als ausreichend ausgestattet, selber kochen macht Spaß in der Küche, die für alle kulinarischen Künstler ausgestattet ist. Die Strände Amado und Bordeira liegen in Reichweite. Carrapateira ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp, nicht nur für Server, sondern auch für Familien. Das Haus kann gut mit zwei oder sogar drei Familien belegt werden, es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter läuft unkompliziert und zuverlässig, wir haben uns alle Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt und auch gut begleitet gefühlt. vielen Dank, lieber Miguel, für deine ansprechbarkeit in jeder Situation und für die freundliche Begleitung unseres Urlaubes. Wir kommen wieder und haben für nächstes Jahr schon gebucht.

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar und unkompliziert. Kommunikation mit Gatsgeber war einfach und eine so gut ausgestattete Küche hatte ich selten in einem Ferienhaus. Der winterhart ist herrlich und der Ausblick auch. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen.

Wunderbar

Das Ferienhaus hat eine tolle Lage und ist besonders für Familien geeignet. Von hier erreicht man schnell den Strand und die ansässigen Surfschulen. Miguel ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Vermieter. Obwohl wir keinen persönlichen Kontakt hatten, war er per Mail für Fragen zu erreichen. Es war ein wunderschöner, entspannter Aufenthalt. Danke!

A perfect holiday

We had a very good vacation in the holiday house in Carrapateira. The pictures are nice, but in reality the house is even more beautiful and bigger. There are 3 terraces , and even in windy periods, there is always sides of the house which is not windy. We were there in february and the weather was excellent. A bit cold at night, but there is heating in evey room. Great stay!

Nicest House to stay for a relaxed holiday

We stayed in this house several times. Close to the beaches Amado and Bordeira it is best for surfing or bodyboarding. There is mitging missing in the house. We love the wintergarden, almost outside-feeling when it gets colder in autumn.
