The property was great! Terrific house in lovely location. Very easy with a pup! We really enjoyed the drives into Coupeville past the ferry and fort. All was comfortable and clean. Small issue, there wasn't bath or face soap in our bathroom so we had to share. Also, we would have used a 8"X8" or 9"X13" baking pans. It was a terrific vacation getaway and we would love to come back!

Very happy with this beautiful home. It was like home away from home. Totally relaxing, clean and comfortable. Husband and his best friend are WW2 buffs and were really excited with the jets from the Naval Air Station doing touch & go landings on a nearby field. Something to do every day! Owners were gracious & accommodating. Excellent home base for adventures to Coupeville, Olympic Peninsula and Victoria BC for a lovely tea at Butchart Gardens (Stunning Place!) We've used VRBO for about 15 yrs and we can truly say this home is our number one stay! We stayed here several years ago and were impressed the accommodations are just as spotless as the first time we were here. Many thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us... P.S. Tyee's & Callen's have great breakfasts too!

Wonderful place and view! Easy to get to Coupeville and the PT ferry. Seemed even more spacious in person than the pictures indicate. Picked blackberries and truly enjoyed ourselves. Extra touches like nice blackout blinds helped us relax.We even enjoyed the F18 Growler flyovers, for the single night they occurred during our several-night stay, definitely a cool and unique sight and sound. They’ve thoughtfully provided hearing protection which I wore while grilling in the back yard as the planes roared overhead, ending their run just in time for our (very peaceful) dinner.

Charming and comfortable home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house on Whidbey Island. We enjoyed the views of the Sound from the couch as well as the beautiful blooming lavender. The accommodations were very comfortable and we didn't run into any practical items that we wished we had. The jets were not practicing in the area while we were there, so it was a very quiet neighborhood for us.

Great Place to Stay

My family stayed here during my grand daughters high school graduation. Location was perfect since it is only 5 min drive to my son's family house. Overall house is excellent. Everything you need for a few days stay is all provided. View from the front porch is top notch! We sat out there for hours watching both sunrise and sunsets every day. Just beautiful.Between having both front and back doors open provided an amazing breeze that kept us very comfortable.Hosts very responsive. Our internet went out and they quickly got us back up and running. Only negatives:1.) Driveway is very steep. So if you have mobility issues makes things little difficult.2.) Have to use an actual key to get into the house. Think the addition of a smart lock would be a great improvement.Will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in the Coupeville area to stay here you won't regret it.

Great place

Everything about our stay was awesome. We loved how close the house was to the ferry and that we could see the sound from the front window. We enjoyed watching the different boats/freighters/cruise ship etc.The house suited our needs perfectly.My niece and I enjoyed taking a spin on the bikes.Susan always responded right away to any inquiry that I made.Highly recommend!

Great location.

We really liked the house--the floor layout and how well equipped it was. We have a special fondness for Coupeville and the location of the house was great for getting to areas of interest.

Great Place to Stay

We greatly enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable with a nice view. Easy access to many local sites. The owners were great. The one proviso is that the home is near the Whidbey Naval Air Station and there is often once a day jets flying low overhead to practice take offs and landings. The owners are very up front with this. We just planned to be away when the flights occur. There is a schedule published of the approximate flight times

Best Home For Whidbey Island

This home was perfect. Instructions were right on for any or all questions. Beautiful location and view. House had everything you would have in your own home. Can't say enough about how wonderful this property was.

Great Location!

House worked perfect for us. Visited our son and his wife who is in the Navy at Oak Harbor. Great location for catching ferry and beautiful view! Would definitely stay again.

Lovely home, great location

This was a great home for seeing Whidbey Island. Centrally located to many of the sights such as Ebeys Landing, Fort Casey, Meerkart Gardens and Greenbank Farm. It was very close to the Port Townsend ferry terminal. The house itself was very well maintained and the kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans needed to cook meals. The owners were easily accessible via text and email. The views from the porch were beautiful of the snow capped Olympic Mts and the sound. Wonderful sunsets could be seen from the porch. I was even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights.

Because it's centrally located, it's close to hiking, biking, swimming, shopping, driving through beautiful, pristine farm country, or just relaxing in front of the gas fireplace or on the porch. We are very excited to share it with you!
