Check in process was seamless as our host was watching for our arrival. The accommodations were an absolute dream located in the wall of the city with updated interior. Just gorgeous!

Amazing! The host was super responsive and helpful. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and clean. The town was so quaint with unreal views of the countryside. Highly recommend.

Beautiful townhouse in a quaint village

We loved our stay at the house of Alice. It is a beautifully decorated townhouse with plenty of space for 4 people. The village it’s in is so nice too, with great views.Only comment is that laundry isn’t in the unit. You can pay to have it done for you though.

Charming but lacked many amenities…..inadequate kitchen supplies,knives in desperate need of sharpening, cups stained, pan handle falling off, some cookware not clean and needed washing to be used, no wardrobes to hang clothes, sheets with holes, no ability to hang wet / anything in bathroom. Inadequate seating for 4 in tv area.

Living the good life in Tuscany.

Very authentic dwelling. Just what we wanted to experience. It looked just like what life in this area must have looked 200 years ago.

Great stay!

We loved this place, not only is it beautiful but it also has everything you need for a couple nights stay. It's perfect for a couple or for four people, and there is free parking around the corner. The town is very tiny and peaceful, but close to bigger ones such as Montalcino, reachable by car in about 15 minutes. The only thing we found was not working was one of the two bathroom sinks, which was clogged when we arrived.

Italy Get Away

We had a marvelous stay at this property. Highly recommended for quaint, location, views, originality. We were able to visit many places during our stay. Francesco was amazing to great us when we arrived a few minutes later than expected! He made sure to give us many options to do during our stay. We enjoyed the Brunello wines in this area as well as a short ride to the coast and Siena which we took the Chianti Road…spectacular! Would definitely recommend and return.

First Trip to Italy

Quaint apartment, with enough amenities for a great six day stay! The parking is a little tough, but the location and views are fabulous. The pellet stove needs to have directions for the renter when it is cooler weather. I would definitely say again. Francesco was great and helped me with a lot of questions!:)

Exploring Tuscany

House of Alice is a lovely apartment with spectacular views from the bedroom window. We thoroughly enjoyed the charming village and the friendly people who live there. Our driving time was 1-2 hours to visit the areas we wanted to explore.

A beautiful apartment, ideally situated allowing you to explore the various sites in the Tuscany region. Breathtaking vistas as you drive between towns and attractions. The apartment is attractively designed and furnished. If I had one suggestion, it would be to better equip the kitchen so it is a little easier to prepare your own meals.

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our time in this lovely home. Beautiful views from the bedroom window, spacious and cosy. Unfortunately when we arrived the smoke from previous use of the wood fire was very strong almost to the point where we didn’t want to breathe, but soon got used to it. I guess that’s an expectation when the place offers a fire however don’t know why anyone would want to be using it in 35 degree heat Italian summer haha! The kitchen didn’t offer any salt, pepper or water which we found odd for a home stay. Otherwise the area was beautiful and the locals lovely and welcoming.

Heaven on Earth!

The house of Alice was stunningly located close to Montalcino! The sunrise from one of the bedrooms will wake you up in the morning (in the most beautiful way). This is your Tuscan dream made into reality: location, views & the charming town!

lovely apartment

The apartment was in a quaint older area in the middle of the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany. It is off the beaten path with just a few restaurants, but we loved being in a quiet area. The views were amazing! We had a bit of a time locating the apartment, but the staff was available and super helpful.

Great Spot!

Loved our stay at House of Alice. It’s very centrally located in Tuscany. Francesco was wonderful and took care of reservations and recommendations for us. The village itself is very small. The house was clean and well appointed. Small recommendations are; it could have used more efficient seating in the living room, a few more kitchen items, larger coffee maker etc. Also the bathrooms could use hooks and a shelf. Overall a wonderful and charming place! I would highly recommend!
